Overly empathetic
snoopykid asked for a oneshot of Emma's magic acting up, resulting in her being able to feel other people's emotions.
"There's no need to be that worried." Emma said quietly, without even looking at her mom. "Regina said she can fix it."
"It's Regina's fault we're in this mess in the first place." Snow grumbled. Emma sighed.
"There's no point in getting mad either. I'm the one who asked for extra lessons to help me get a better handle on my magic. Regina told me not to overdo it, I didn't listen. Now here I am, a walking mood ring." Emma complained. "It could be worse. It's not like I've been turned into a llama or anything." Snow rolled her eyes.
"This time." She pointed out. "You got lucky, this time your empathy just went off the charts. Next time, it might be your heartrate, or something else equally as detrimental to your health." Snow pointed out. Emma reached out and squeezed her mom's hand.
"I'm fine. Lesson learnt." She promised her. "I'll be more careful."
"I should hope so." Snow said seriously. "I'm glad you got this little wake up call."
"I'm not." Emma complained. "I have a teenaged son in my house. You have any idea how many emotions they feel in one hour. I forgot how exhausting it was!" Emma explained. Snow allowed herself a small chuckle. Like she said, she was glad this time it was such a small inconvenience, and not a big problem. Hopefully, Emma would have indeed learned her lesson.
