Three days later

I was on my way to North Carolina for a new case when my cell phone started to play "The eye of tiger" ringtone. I smirked, knowing that it was Dean. I answered it. "Hello?"

"Emma. Sam's missing."

"What? Dean, what are you talking about?"

"Sam's gone. He went inside to get our food and he was gone too long so I went inside. I found the employees dead and Sam was nowhere. I found sulfur there so the demon was there. I can't find Sam so you need to come back and help us."

I nodded. "Okay, I'm turning around and I'll be there in a couple of hours." I said, turning my car around quickly which pissed the other drivers off but I didn't care.

"Emma… hurry." Dean says, his voice laced with urgency and desperation. I knew it was bad this time.

I swallowed hard then nodded.

"Dean...I will be here. I promise. See ya." I hung up and pushed my foot down on the gas pedal, speeding up.

Several hours later

Night time has fallen as I drove to the area where Dean and Bobby were going to meet. As I arrived, their cars were parked on the side of the road where they were looking over something. They looked up as they heard my car and Bobby smiles at me. I parked my truck and got out.

"Well, look who's here. My gal, Emma." Bobby says, hugging me as I chuckled quietly. I look at Dean and he nods at me. He didn't smile or anything else. He's still angry at me and worried about Sam too. So was I.

We break apart and walked to Dean. "Hi, Dean." I said, shoving my hands in pockets.

"Hi, Emma. Glad to see you back."

"Me too. I'd do anything for you and Sam. Bobby too." I said, looking over at Bobby.

There was an awkward silence between me and Dean. "Bobby, is this the map?" Dean asked, wanting to get back to the business and also to get rid of this weird vibe between them.

Bobby nodded. "This is it. All demonic signs and omens over the past month."

Dean looks over the map then glances up at Bobby. "Are you joking? There's nothing here."

"Exactly." Bobby replied, looking at Dean.

Dean straightened up. "Well, come on, there's gotta be something. What about the normal, low-level stuff? You know, exorcisms, that kind of thing."

"That's what I'm telling you; there's nothing. It's completely quiet."

"Bobby, are you sure? I mean that's kinda weird." I asked, glancing at him. He nodded. I sigh and closed my eyes in frustration.

"Well, how are we supposed to look for Sam? What, do we just close our eyes and point?" Dean asks, frustrated.

His phone rings and he answered it. "Ash, what do you got?"

"Okay, listen, it's a big negatory on Sam."

"Oh, come on, man! You've gotta give us something. We're looking at a three-thousand mile haystack here."

"Listen, Dean, I did find something."

"Well, what?"

"I can't talk over this line, Dean."

"Come on, I don't have time for this!"

"Make time, okay? Because this" Ash stops as a customer walks by. "What's up? What's going on?" The customer passes by, and Ash goes back to Dean. "Not only does this almost definitely help you find your brother, this is… it's huge. So get here. Now."

Dean puts his phone in his pocket, looking at us.

"What? What's going on?" I asked, glancing at Dean.

"I guess we're going to the Roadhouse. Come on."

As we arrived to the Roadhouse, it had been burned to the ground. I let out a scream when I saw it and got out of the car, running to the site.

"Ash! Ellen! Oh my god!" I stared at the burnt building in shock.

"What the hell?" Dean says, walking with Bobby among the debris.

"Oh, my God." Bobby says, looking at the debris.

I folded my arms in shock, shuddering.

"You see Ellen?" Dean asks Bobby and he shook his head. "No. No Ash, either."

I paced around the debris, praying that I wouldn't find their bodies. Dean suddenly bends down and sees Ash's watch in the pile of rubble. He pulls on it and sees it is still attached to Ash's very burnt corpse.

"Oh, Ash, damn it!" Dean curses, catching my attention and I ran over to him.

"Emma, don't." Dean blocks me and tried to push me away. "No, Dean! Let me see him! Please!" I struggle with Dean then I saw Ash's body, causing me to cry out. "No! Oh my god, no please. Ash!" I sob out against Dean's chest. Dean held me in his arms as I held on to his jacket to keep myself from falling to my knees.

"Emma, look at me." Dean puts his finger under my chin as I stared at Ash's body and turn my face to him. I looked at his green eyes.

"Look, I know you were friends with Ash but you need not to lose it right now. We need to find Sam. Okay? I know."

I nodded, biting my lip. "Yeah. Okay… I'll be fine."

Dean lets me go and I stared at the debris in shock. Dean looks at Emma and realized that she was shaking but at least she was holding her shit together instead of falling apart.

"This is…" Bobby says, trailing off in shock.

"What the hell did Ash know? We've got no way of knowing where Ellen is. Or if she's even alive. We've got no clue what Ash was gonna tell us. Now, how the hell are we gonna find Sam?" Dean says, looking at Bobby.

"We'll find him." Bobby says in comfort.

Suddenly, Dean clutches his head in pain.

Bobby immediately got concerned. "Dean?"

Dean groans and doubles over. When I heard his groan, I looked up from Ash's body quickly and saw Dean doubling over.

"Dean!" I ran over to Dean, putting my hand on his shoulder.

When it was over, Dean looked at us.

"What was that?" Bobby asked in concern.

"I don't know. A headache?"

I frowned.

"You get headaches like that a lot?" Bobby says, frowning at Dean.

"No. Must be the stress." Dean chuckles. "I could have sworn I saw something."

"What do you mean? Like a vision? Like what Sam gets?" Bobby asked and we glanced at each other, our thoughts alike.

"What? No!" Dean disagreed with us.

"I'm just saying." Bobby replied, holding up his hands in defense.

"Come on, I'm not some psychic."

Suddenly, Dean falls against the car in pain, which caused us to gather around him. "Dean?" I said, feeling helpless that I couldn't protect him from being in pain. I actually wished that I was the one getting visions instead of him.

"Dean? Dean! Are you with me?" Bobby asks, shaking him.

"Yeah, I think so. I saw Sam. I saw him, Bobby."

"It was a vision." Bobby says out loud and I nodded.

"Yeah. I don't know how, but yeah. Whew. That was about as fun as getting kicked in the jewels."

I shook my head. "Now you know how Sam and I feel when we get visions." I said, glancing at Dean.

Dean nodded.

"What else did you see?" Bobby asked, trying to find out more about his vision.

"Uh… there was a bell."

"What kind of bell?"

"Like a big bell with some kind of engraving on it, I don't know."

"Engraving?"

"Yeah."

Bobby and I glanced at each other. We knew what he was talking about.

"Was it a tree? Like, an oak tree?"

Dean's eyes widen at Bobby. "Yeah, exactly."

"I know where Sam is."

I nodded. "Sam is in Cold Oak, South Dakota." I said, walking around to the backseat and climbed inside.

Cold Oak, South Dakota

We are outside near the edge of the woods.

As we climbed out of the Impala, Bobby looks around. "Looks like the rest of the way's on foot."

We open the trunk and grabbed our weapons.

Dean looked at us. "Let's go."

As we walked down the street, it was almost déjà vu to me. I couldn't figure out why but the place looked familiar.

"Sam!" Dean calls out and we heard Sam's voice.

"Dean!"

As we walked up, Sam was smiling at us.

The guy behind Sam suddenly wakes up. He grabs the knife that Sam had left on the ground. Suddenly, there was a flashback to my vision that I had a year ago and to my horror, it was happening.

"Oh, my god." I whispered as I saw the black guy rushing behind Sam's back. I broke into a run.

"Sam, look out!" Dean screams, running to him.

But it was too late. He stabs the knife right through Sam's back.

"No!" Dean screamed out.

He twists the knife, creating a massive wound, before running away. Sam falls to his knees. While Bobby and I chase after the man, Dean slides to the ground in front of Sam. He grabs at Sam's clothing, trying to keep him conscious.

That was the last time I saw them as I ran after the man. Bobby couldn't catch up to him since the man and I were running super fast.

The man trips and I caught up to him, pulling him up from the ground and slamming him against the tree.

He was shocked at my strength. "YOU! I should kill you, you son of a bitch!" I spat at him, grabbing his neck and lifted him off the ground.

He started to choke out. "Please don't kill me! I was just following the demon's order. He told me to kill Sam."

I shuddered in anger. "You…. You saw the demon?"

"He told me that he would kill both of us if I didn't kill Sam. I'm sorry, please. I didn't want to die."

I stared at him coldly. I put him down slowly and let my hand fall away from his neck. I let out a shuddering sob.

He stared at me, rubbing his neck. "You're strong like me?"

I looked down then glanced back up. "Oh no, I'm stronger than you."

He frowned at me and the next thing I know, I put my hands on his mouth and head thus breaking his neck quickly. His body slumps down on the ground.

I let out a sob, glancing at his body. What have I done now? It's like the rage took over me and I couldn't control it. In a panic, I took his arms and dragged him into the forest where no one would find his body.

"I'm so sorry." I whispered out loud to his body then I walk away from him. I knew that I was going to have nightmares from now on because I killed someone... An innocent person who was lost and confused. He didn't deserve it.

"Sam!" Dean held on his clothing. Sam falls forward onto Dean's shoulder.

"Whoa, whoa, Sam. Sam! Hey! Come here. Let me look at you." He places his hand on Sam's wound, covering his entire palm in blood.

"Hey, look at me. It's not even that bad. It's not even that bad, all right? Sammy? Sam! Hey, listen to me. We're gonna patch you up, okay? You're gonna be good as new. I'm gonna take care of you. I'm gonna take you care of you. I've got you. That's my job, right? Watch out for my pain-in-the ass little brother? Sam? Sam! Sammy!"

Sam's eyes slide shut. His entire body slumps forward.

"No. No, no, no, no. Oh, God."

With tears streaming down his face, Dean holds Sam in his arms as he dies.

"Sam!" Dean screams out, holding on to his brother's head. Dean sobs into his brother's shoulder.

I ran back as I heard Dean screaming out Sam's name in agony. As I arrived, I stopped at the sight of Dean holding his body, sobbing softly.

"No! Sam!" I cried out, running to them.

I slide to the ground, seeing Sam's wound on the back.

"Oh my god, Sam." I took Sam's wrist and felt for his pulse. He was gone.

"No!" I sob out, glancing Sam's face. I stood up, backing away and put my hands on my head. "No! Oh my god, he's not dead! He's not dead." I screamed out loud, looking at them.

I started sobbing heavily and tried to go near Sam when Bobby pulled me away. "NO! Bobby, let me go!" He wouldn't let me go. In fact, he held me away from Sam and I felt my knees giving out, leading us to collapse on the ground.

Bobby held me in his arms, my back against his chest. He held my arms against my chest to prevent me from hitting him.

"No! Oh my god! Sam! Please let me go! Please let me…" I trail off, sobbing hysterically. Bobby closed his eyes and let the tears spill away from his eyes.

Dean glances at me with tears rolling down on his cheeks. It broke my heart even more.

"I'm sorry, Sam! I'm sorry." I sobbed out.

I cried for Dean, for Sam, for Ash and for Ellen.

Ugh, this episode just killed me... It was just so sad to see Dean grieving over Sam. Now...Emma killed someone? This is not good. What did you think of her decision? Please leave a review. Thanks!
