Charming by name, charming by nature
Alexasked for a oneshot of Emma being charming and sweet-talking everyone in town. Charming is proud and starts bragging about his genes.
Guest: That doesn't really sound like a sequel, it sounds more like a very similar version of the original chapter.
Ok, they admitted it. Their bad. Well, more specifically, Emma's bad. Emma had accidentally pulled a wire whilst she and her dad were investigating a break in. It happened to be the wire that connected to the generator, supplying the town with electricity. Charming had warned Emma to be careful, that the lighting wasn't great and she should walk more slowly, but she didn't listen. Even so, he took half the blame so there wasn't so much heat on Emma. He was her dad, after all.
Although, there was one good thing to come out of the incident. Charming got to see that his genes were definitely in his daughter. To avoid the town chasing after her shaking their fists, Emma went around everyone, offering them a candle and any support necessary until they got the power up and running again. By doing so, she seemed to get most people's tempers down to manageable levels. He smirked at her as she finished with the last candle.
"What?" She asked.
"Nothing." Charming responded, wrapping an arm around her shoulders. "I can just see those Charming genes coming out in you tonight is all." He pointed out with a grin. Emma rolled her eyes. Trust him to point that out.
