Reconsider
captainswan2000 asked for a oneshot of Emma wanting to do something really dangerous and won't give up on going. So Charming needs to literally lock her in the station.
"One last time." Charming sighed in frustration. "You know I think this is a bad plan. No, not even a bad plan. A downright awful and treacherous plan that could lead to something fatal. So, Emma, would you reconsider going to Maleficent's cave, whilst she's in dragon form for mating season, to try and reason with her about the perpetual fire breathing?"
"Nope." Emma responded simply. "Last time Sneezy's shirt got singed. Next time it could be an actual burn. There's still at least a month left of this according to Lily. It's too long a time to just let it slide."
"That doesn't mean you need to go charging in there." Charming pointed out, even though they'd had this conversation at least three times since Emma had told him of her intentions to go speak to Maleficent. "It's dangerous, Emma."
"I have magic, I'll be fine." Emma brushed him off. Charming counted to ten. He hadn't wanted to do this. He pulled out something from his pocket and snapped it over Emma's wrist. She looked down. A magic preventing cuff.
"Really?" She said. "Take it off, now." She demanded.
"No." Charming told her. "I think you need a little time to think this plan through." He told her before walking out the door, locking it behind him. "I'll be back in a couple of hours!"
"Dad!" Emma yelled, running to the door and trying to open it. "Let me out!"
"Sorry sweetie, it's for your own good!" He told her before he walked away. Emma stared at the door, stunned. What was she supposed to do until he got back?!
