Sneaking treats

A guest asked for a oneshot of Emma trying to sneak treats into the shopping trolley that she shouldn't have. Snow notices, but doesn't say anything because she thinks it's cute and realises that, as a child, Emma probably didn't get sweets very often.

Another wee reminder, please try and remember not to demand oneshots from me. I have a thing about manners. I'm not even asking for pleases and thank yous, I'm not that up myself, just don't demand them from me.

Stupid scaremongering on the news. Snow had never been too fond of Emma's sweet tooth, but after a ridiculous article posted about sugar causing cancer, Snow had decided the household would now and forever more, be sugar free. Emma was not coping with this change. She needed to be able to have midnight snack! Her coffee just tasted bitter! So when Emma went shopping with her mom, she decided to take action. As stealthily as possible, Emma snuck a packet of nerds into the bottom of the cart. When her mom didn't demand she put them back, Emma nearly did a mini fist pump. She had won this round.

What Emma wasn't aware of, was that she only won because her mom let her. Snow had indeed seen Emma sneaking the candy into the cart. She was both a bandit and a mom. She had eyes in the back of her head. But Snow realised how hard this coming cold turkey off sugar was on her daughter. Snow knew Emma's childhood wasn't all rainbows and butterflies. She had it pretty rough sometimes. Really, it made sense Emma had a particular preference for candy. Snow figured she probably didn't get a lot of it as a child herself. Of course she overindulged on it now. Sure, Snow knew it still wasn't good for her, and was still dramatically reducing her intake. But she figured one pack wouldn't hurt. Plus, sneaking treats into the cart was pretty darn adorable, even if she was a fully-grown woman.
