Diner brawl
Apapapapapa asked for a oneshot of Emma at the diner with her parents and getting into a fist fight with a drunk who calls her a name.
"This is nice." Charming commented, fixing Neal's bib. "We don't do this often enough anymore."
"I agree." Emma mumbled through a mouthful of onion ring. Snow playfully shook her head. As soon as Emma's plate hit the table she dug in. There was never any holding her back. Snow wasn't the only one who noticed Emma's eating habits. The people sitting at the booth behind them clearly had opinions as well. Which, was a bit rich, considering they'd clearly had a bit too much to drink. They heard a woman tutting.
"So much for a princess." She slurred. "She has the manners of a pig." Snow and Charming's eyes narrowed at the woman's rude remarks. Emma's whole body tensed. She dropped her onion ring back on the plate, wiped her hands on her napkin, and slowly turned to face her.
"You got a problem with me?" She snapped. The woman seemed affronted that Emma would dare address her remarks.
"Well, I just think it's appalling that someone who's meant to be a member of the royal family eats like a farmyard animal." She stated. "I know your father is a shepherd, but that doesn't mean you need to eat like an animal to get his attention." Emma felt rage building within her. So did her parents.
"You got a problem with my dad now?" Emma growled. "Because you and I really have a problem, lady." The woman just snorted. The man looked over to Snow and Charming.
"Are you not going to control your daughter?" She slurred.
"Our daughter doesn't need controlled." Charming responded coolly.
"Clearly she does. She's feral." The woman added. That was it. She had pushed Emma over the edge. She leapt out of the booth, grabbed the woman by her hair and yanked her out too, before smacking her one right on the nose. She yelped as an audible cracking noise was heard. Charming quickly passed Neal to Snow and scrambled out of the booth.
"This is assault!" The woman screamed. "I'll sue you for police brutality!"
"Good luck finding a lawyer willing to sue her in this town." Charming pointed out. "Especially when she was provoked." Charming quickly escorted Emma out the diner with Snow and Neal following close behind.
"She had it coming!" Emma screamed.
"Move." Charming told her, walking her home. They both knew the woman had it coming, but Emma also had her desk duty coming for her reaction. Not that Emma would see it that way.
