6:30 AM, 7th Heaven Bar, Garage...

Zack was looking over some motor parts on the floor facing the now cleaned motorbike. He was told that Cloud was coming late, Denzel was off to school shortly after breakfast with Marlene, Barret had left, so he was working on this project alone. So far, he had no problems with the wiring or the combustion chamber. The parts only needed a good, thorough cleaning inside out. Dust and pebbles mostly fell out during the cleaning process, replacing the Mako chamber with the fuel chamber weren't difficult. The minor bolts and nuts he was missing were easy to get since Cloud had some extras in the garage.

Occasionally, Aerith would roll in to see how his progress was going. She would even tease him, saying that he smelled like oil. Either way, he promised to be the bouncer tonight so he should get started with what he can before the evening.

"Hi, Zack, hows it going?" Tifa called, she had just came into the garage. Showing some interest in his project.

"So far so good." He praised, wiping away the sweat and oil from his forehead. "Need anything?"

"Yeah, I was about to ask if you could get me something before the bar opens."

"Groceries? Easy!" Zack smiled, getting a small paper with the written list. Coffee, Sugar, Bread, etc... so far nothing difficult.

"Try not to get lost." Tifa teased following him to outside.

"I learned the way!" He finally departed with a wave, forgetting he was a mess. He will figure out she figured.

Genesis returned to his hidden base in the Forgotten City of the Ancients. He folded his black wing and entered one of the empty shell homes he called his home. The long flight from Edge had tired him out, but ex-SOLIDER could not rest just yet. He made his way to the one table in the shell like house and on it was an outdated Shinra receiver radio along with piles of classified files, a broken down cell phone, a dismantled gun, and an empty paper cup of coffee with the 7th Heaven Bar logo printed on the front. His sword, The Rapier, was leaning on the table across from his chair.

He pulled out his chair and took a seat, swatting away the empty old cup and placed the new one in its place. With his head leaning backward, his thoughts drifting to a past discussion he had with an old friend.

By saving him, he was hoping to get him to reform. But the rage that was bottled up, and the fact that he lost comrades and family along the way, have made Weiss the Immaculate purely mad. His desire for him and the world to reset took over his mind. It didn't help that he already knew how to jump start the Omega plan was worse.

Seeing that Genesis was an obstacle in his plan, the white haired man wasted no time attacking him. The fight wasn't easy, but no materia, no sword play could over take Weiss' skills. And it didn't help that during their fight, Cloud happened to race by. Weiss immediately ignored him, his opponent, and sped towards the unknowing blond.

Genesis had to do something to prevent it, so he did what he had to. He quickly shot a thunder bolt at Weiss, and while it didn't hit, it hit the side of the bike, forcing Cloud to skid across the road, just barely avoiding a fatal slash to his neck from Weiss's blade. Genesis quickly flew towards the confused Weiss and finally forced himself to gravely injure his 'brother ex-SOLIDER.'

His opponent groaned and winced in pain. Seeing that he needed to recover. With a look of pain and disgust, Weiss finally resorted to a retreat. But not without warning, 'This will not be the last time we meet, brother...'

When the man left, Genesis instantly recalled the blond and went to him. Cloud was unconscious, his cheek was slightly grazed by Weiss' blade, but thankfully it will heal and leave no mark. What he could do was make sure nothing attacks him while he recovered. And that he did.

He perched up the cliff face towards the road and kept a look out. He stayed that way till evening, when the blond finally woke up, to a curious behemoth cub of course, and left towards Junon. And with that, he left for home.

"And to think I dropped my coffee from that fight too." Genesis joked, sitting up straight in his chair after recalling all that, a quiet sigh escaping his lips after.

But back to the topic at hand. Weiss had declared war, so he needed to even the numbers. Not just that, he needed combat, ready members. His hand reached all the way to the back of his head as her silently pondered. `Who else could I get? Who else was there that already had experience in the heat of a battle field? Someone that could also fit into this group of friends Zack has made without a problem. Someone that one of the friends already knows would be a good idea`.

That`s when his eyes shot wide open `Of course!`. He pushed the chair back with a loud screech and moved toward the awkward looking bookshelf he had made that was filled with old textbooks and classified files from Shinra. Browsing through them, he then pulled out one of the personal files, a wide grin forming on his face.

"They'll do quite nicely."

7:45 AM, City of Edge, Shopping district...

"Let's see... yeah that's everything on the list." doubling checking the paper Tifa handed him. his other hand was busy holding all the grocery bags.

While making his way back to the bar, a big red sign with the words 'Sale' in white caught his attention. The window belonged to a cell phone store.

"That's convenient." He looked over the mobile phones' on display with their price tag, most of which were very low in price. The models weren't that old either, and with the price they were offering, he could get two and still have some Gil to spare.

"Why not? I need to replacing mine anyway." convinced, he entered the store to purchase one for himself and another for his girlfriend.
