I'm back! :) I am happy to be back since the horrible break-in and now I can focus on working on this story again. :D There's a twist at the end...hope you'll like it. By the way, there's a special character in this story that you guys know and worship pretty much lol. I am introducing him early. There will be more chapters with him once I hit season three.
When I died, I was in shock seeing Dean holding my body. I was confused and my adopted mother was standing next to me.
"Mom?" I whisper, staring at her in shock. She turns to me and smiled. "Hi, Emma." She whispered and we hug tightly.
"Mom… I'm dead. Oh my god… I'm dead." I felt my voice cracking at the last sentence, tears rushing to my eyes. I let out a shuddering breath.
"You're in shock. I'm sorry, baby. I didn't want you see this scene, but I came too late. Now… come on." She grabs my hand and started to lead me into the bright light when I stopped her.
"Mom… I can't leave them. I can't leave Dean." I let out a sob, looking back at Dean. He was crying quietly, still cradling my broken body in his arms.
Mom caresses my cheek, turning my chin back to her face. "Honey… I know how much you love Dean and your new family. But… it's too late to save you. Now… we're going to heaven. You'll be able to see Meg and Dad."
I let out another sob at the mention of Meg and Dad. "They're okay?"
Mom nodded at me. "Yes, they're okay. They have been waiting to see you for a long time, baby," she says, caressing my hair. "I have been waiting for you too, honey." Her voice started to crack, but she was still smiling at me.
I hugged her tightly again. "Okay, Mom. I'll go." I say, squeezing her hand.
She lets out a sob and nodded. We held hands and walk slowly into the brightest light I have ever seen in my lifetime.
Five years later in Heaven. It's been only 12 months on Earth.
When I came to Heaven with Mom, Dad and Meg was there to greet me. I was so happy to see them that I was crying. Not only that I was happy to see them, I was also sad because I knew that I would never see Dean and Sam again. It took me a while to deal with my death and the shock of it.
I found out that I could have my own heaven, so I created a place where no one would find me. A little cottage home on the beach. I have always enjoyed the beach so it was like a little paradise for me.
As I lay on my stomach against the towel, reading a novel while enjoying the sunlight hitting my back. I listen to the soft ocean waves coming in and out while the seagulls are singing.
As I turn the page, I heard a distant swoosh next to me and I smile softly.
"Hello, Castiel." I say, still reading my book.
"Hello, Emma. How are you?" Castiel asked, playing with sand between his fingers.
"I'm fine." I said, still reading.
Castiel sighs annoyingly and took my book away, which caused me to object.
"Castiel! I was getting to the great part!" I said, taking my book back.
Castiel chuckles quietly, looking at me. "You're a funny one, you know? Ever since you came to heaven, you have been more quiet and observant lately. You're unique from all angels I've met."
I take my book in my arms and sat up. "If that was a compliment, thank you. Now, what do you need since you decided to bother my reading time?" I said, smiling at him.
"I'm checking on you. You've changed since you came to heaven. It seems like you don't want to spend time with your family and also the rest of heaven."
I roll my eyes at him, then shook my head. "That's because you are not here half a time. I do spend time with them a lot. I just need my own space to myself sometimes. That's why I created this place… so no one can bother me until you found me. I like you, Castiel but sometimes you just make me so mad." I say, standing up and pull the towel off the sand. I shook it off while Castiel stood up.
"Well, how I do make you mad?" Castiel says, crooking his head at me. I chuckle at his puppy-like face.
I shook my head. "Never mind, Castiel. You're like a book that I can't read because I don't understand you sometimes."
He crooked his head at me again, confused. "I'm like a book?"
I chuckled again. "Never mind. It's just an expression. Now I'm going inside. Goodbye."
I started to walk away when Castiel proofed in front of me.
"Damn it, Castiel! Seriously? Just give me some space, please."
Castiel backed away from me a little. "Sorry. Look, I can't let you go inside. I… I have to tell you something."
I sigh heavily and put the towel down along with the book. "Okay, you have my attention now. Go on."
I cross my arms and waited for him.
"You know why you died… right?"
I roll my eyes at him again. "Yes, I know why I did. It was because I was a part of angel… something like that."
"Uh… well… more like a part of powerful angel that was forbidden to mate with humans."
I frowned in confusion. "Whoa, whoa, whoa. Back it up for a second. You're telling me that my birth mother had sex with a powerful angel? Like how powerful?"
"More like Seraph."
I gasped in shock. "Are you kidding me?!"
"No, I'm not kidding you. I am serious."
"Castiel, you're telling me that my real father was a Seraph? Is that you're telling me, Castiel?"
He nodded. "Oh my god." I walked away, covering my mouth.
When I came to heaven, my adopted mom explained to me that there were different types of angels. She told me that Seraph angels were so powerful that there were only three of them today, which is very rare.
I turned back to Castiel. "So I'm a part Seraph. But… the powers that I was developing as a human… was that normal?"
"Well, you had the demon blood inside you, which created the powers for you, but along with the angel said, your powers were just developing before you died."
"Castiel… why are you telling me this now? Why now? Why didn't you tell me five years ago when I came to heaven?"
"I was not allowed to. God didn't want you to know until today. I think…. I'm not sure because I haven't talked to God for a while, but I think he's planning to bring you back to Earth."
I sighed heavily and lean against the tree.
"If God wanted to send me back to Earth…. That means I won't be able to remember everything here… including what you just told me."
Castiel nodded. "Yes, you won't remember what I told you, but you will find out later on Earth. You'll figure it out."
"But my body. They burned my body when I died so how am I going to go back without a body?"
"God will recreate your body… like a brand new body. It would be like that you have been reborn basically."
I nodded, looking at the sea. "I'll miss everything here. I'll miss this place. God… I'm going to miss my family and Meg. It was so wonderful to see them. Even I'll miss you, Castiel. You have been wonderful to me."
Castiel nodded. "I'll miss you too, Emma."
He proofed away without a warning and I stared at his empty space for a while until I went inside the cottage.
Holy crap about her angel side...and yay, she's coming back! :D Stay turned for the next chapter.
