Sushi
JRocks asked for a oneshot of the whole family going to a sushi restaurant. While Emma, Henry and Neal (who's only a couple of years younger than Henry) chow down, Snowing are too scared to eat raw fish.
"Come on guys, dig in." Emma encouraged her parents through a mouthful of California maki. Henry and Neal also had plates piled high. Who would have thought a sushi restaurant would open in Storybrooke? Hiro Hamada found himself brought into town by a portal, and decided to make the best of it. Much to Emma's delight in particular. There had been a kickass sushi place in Boston near where she stayed, this place was up there with that. Henry had tried it once or twice during his time in New York and liked it. Neal was like his big sister and ate just about anything put in front of him. Snow and Charming, on the other hand, were a bit more hesitant.
"Surely eating raw fish can't be that good for you?" The ever health conscious Snow questioned, staring at the little mouthfuls of rice and fish.
"Well, the Japanese have been eating it for a century or two, and they all seem to manage it fine." Emma pointed out. "Come on. I ate chimera for you. Just give it a go." Her parents still seemed reluctant. "If you're really unsure about the fishy stuff, why not give one of the veggie options ago? No raw fish there." Emma pointed out. "Come on, it's just some rice, maybe a little seaweed and a cucumber or some celery. You'll be fine." Emma promised them. Snow and Charming sighed. Well, they had come all this way… They each popped a veggie sushi dish in their mouths.
"Oh no guys, those were tuna ones!" Henry said. Snow and Charming immediately spat them out before they noticed Emma, Neal and Henry all rolling around in fits of laughter. "Gotcha!" Snow and Charming looked at them all, disgruntled. They would get their revenge for this.
