Hi there...

It's been a while since the last time I write fanfiction, but these boys in this new drama just refuse to leave me alone. They occupied my head 24/7, hence this fan-fiction! XD

This is a fan-fiction for a live action TV drama produced by Iqiyi, called Hikaru no Go or Qi Hun. This C-drama is an adaption based on Hikaru no Go, the Japanese manga and anime. I encourage everybody who hasn't watched it to give it a try. Because it such a good show. I love it so much!

Like always, I want to inform that English is not my first language. So, apology in advanced, for any mistakes.

Oh yes, a warning!

And for anyone that watching the show, this is a spoiler for ep 36 (last episode).

What's the Price?

You think you knew someone well until you shared close space with that person. Then, the realization hit you hard that you knew almost nothing about that individual. Yu Liang truly believed that he knew a lot of things about Shi Guang, he even dared to boast about it in front of his Shixiong. But as soon as Shi Guang moved into his house, to get ready for the Hokuto Cup Competition, it was clear that he… no… both of them were nothing but arrogant jerks! He was not the only one who's acting pretentious that day.

One of the things that he couldn't understand about him, why Shi Guang seemed to really enjoy stealing his drink. The first time it happened in front of Shixiong after their big win in the award ceremony, Yu Liang didn't give it much thought. He just simply assumed that Shi Guang was regretting his decision to get a coke instead of orange juice, and that was why he kept taking a sip here and there from Yu Liang's glass. Though, when he thought about it further, it was kinda strange that Shi Guang didn't just simply get another glass of orange juice.

But, that quirk, namely seizing his drink, continued when they lived together. Even when they drink the same drink, Shi Guang still did it. And that was something that confused him greatly. Of course, Yu Liang tried to coerce Shi Guang to explain his motive, but he only got a shit-eating grin as an answer.

That night, after they defeated Senior and Bai Laoshi in Pair Go, and after Yu Liang showed the mama's boy how to change the blanket, they're having a little heart-to-heart conversation. Yu Liang was admitting to Shi Guang about his desire to retaliate the words that he had spoken to him at the Lan Yin Temple, and in return, Shi Guang was also expressing his confession, "Fine, since you are being so transparent, I'll do the same. I've nothing against you. It's just that sometimes... I like to annoy you."

'So, that's what he's been trying to do all this time? Solely to tease me?'

Yu Liang decided not to prolong the matter and keep his thoughts to himself. However, when Shi Guang was trying once again to take a sip from his glass even though they have the same drinks, Yu Liang exploded, "Shi Guang, this is too much even for you! What the hell are you trying to accomplish here anyway?"

"I just want to tease you! What else?" answered Shi Guang as he laughed. "Come on, Yu Liang… Relax a bit, will you? Don't frown too much or you'll get wrinkles!"

Just like what happened in the grandfather's attic that one time, Shi Guang gently stroked Yu Liang's forehead. He knew he was lying to himself if he said that intimate touch didn't affect him at all. But, as soon as those little sparks appeared in his heart, Yu Liang killed them instantly.

'I need to stop this madness."

Still, Yu Liang was not Yu Liang if he didn't select the most intense solution. As far as he was concerned, he needed to teach Shi Guang a lesson and that was what he was going to do! *insert an evil laugh here*

Therefore, the next time Shi Guang was starting an attempt to steal his drink, Yu Liang quickly grabbed his wrist.

"Are you aware that everything has its price?" asked Yu Liang, his eyes stared intently at Shi Guang's eyes.

"Oh?" responded Shi Guang as he slowly tried to free his wrist from Yu Liang's grasp. "Then please tell me, what is the price for this glass of juice?"

"Not much. Little smooch on the forehead will do," retorted Yu Liang with a level-10-smug painted all over his face, so confident that Shi Guang would not dare to accept the challenge.

As slowly as he extricated his wrist from Yu Liang's fingers earlier, Shi Guang rose from his seat, took Yu Liang's glass from his other hand, and then lowered his head to lightly kiss the forehead in front of him. "Like this?"

It never crossed his mind that Shi Guang will deal with the challenge so calmly. To say that he got shocked to the core was not enough to describe exactly how Yu Liang feels at the moment. Only his pride and his nature as a competitive person, that kept him from running away and hiding under his bed. So, Yu Liang forced himself to hold his head up high, acted as indifferent as he could, stared at the dark eyes above him, and then squeaked, "Hn."

But his suffering was not over yet. Because, that bastard still had the guts to smile at him as he gulped the juice from Yu Liang's glass. Afterward, Shi Guang put on a deliberate show of leaving the empty glass on the table and shamelessly whispered, "Aaah… delicious."

'Brat!'

Later on, things didn't get any better for Yu Liang but rather the opposite. Shi Guang behaved like he got the green light to do anything he wants. He would take the glass, or the cup, or the bottle, or any other container that is put on the table in front of Yu Liang or his hand. Because apparently, in Shi Guang's mind, as long as he 'paid' it fully with a kiss on the forehead, then any drinks that belonged to Yu Liang were his.

Yu Liang was furious ( of course he was! ), but since he was the one who created the rule, there was nothing that he could do about it unless he was willing to annul the ridiculous rule himself. But, Yu Liang rather ate all the stones than taking back on his words, and that brat knew… he knew!

At this point, they had lived together long enough for Shi Guang to notice this fact about Yu Liang and that got him mad even more. Yes, they needed to understand each other and yes , they needed to be able to read each other's minds… But all those efforts were for the sake of bringing back the Hokuto Cup to China! Not for Shi Guang to taunt him like this!

'Ughh!'

Two days later, Shixiong took Yu Liang and Shi Guang out to have dinner and the three of them had a great time. The food was delicious and the chat was fun. Shixiong enlightened them about the preparation for the Hokuto Cup that is right on schedule, and also about the list of worthy opponents that he has organized for them.

As usual, Yu Liang ordered a glass of orange juice for himself and Shi Guang got a coke. Like a Deja Vu, Shi Guang was starting to make a move to seize his drink and Yu Liang reflexively moved his glass away to the side. But… but Shi Guang… he… that idiot… instead of reaching out his hand to grab his glass, he turned his head to the left and kissed Yu Liang's forehead... . .Shixiong!

"Your drink, please?"

Like a string puppet, Yu Liang just gave up his glass to Shi Guang, who drank from it happily, totally unaware of the consequence of his action just now. Yu Liang lowered his gaze immediately but his ears caught a loud choking sound that came from Shixiong's direction, followed by a barrack of coughs. And that was when the fool finally realized what he had done.

"Umh… Xu-Ge, I… Yu Liang… we…"

Shixiong waved his right hand in front of him, and then said, "Please… you don't need to explain anything."

Yu Liang still had not got the guts to look at his Shixiong, until after he heard a weird sound that came out from his Senior. With a heavy heart, Yu Liang was raising his head to look at Shixiong and discovered the truth about the strange sound. Shixiong was giggling! Fang Xu, the 9-dan Go Player, was giggling!

"Shixiong…" pleaded Yu Liang. He didn't know, and truly, he didn't want to know either how the look on his face looks at the moment, but he was 100% certain that he needed Senior to stop laughing. He stole a quick look with the corner of his eyes toward Shi Guang and found him in the same predicament. Ugh, at least that dummy still had some shame.

"Okay… okay… I stop…" Shixiong said as he lifted his own glass to take a sip.

"Anything for the Cup, right?"

"Shixiong!"

"Xu-Ge!"

The giggling sound got even louder.

'Ughh!'

Previously, Yu Liang thought that anything that happened on that disastrous night was the worst. But, noooo… the worst thing was he, Yu Liang, starting to like and even crave those kisses. He yearned for them to the point that he deliberately brought his glass around, especially if he knew Shi Guang would be in the same room as him. Oh, how the mighty fell.

But this situation didn't last long, and Yu Liang still couldn't decide whether this new development was a good thing or not.

The first time it occurred, Yu Liang and Shi Guang were having dinner together at home. That night was Shi Guang's turn to order food and he got both of them ramen with extra meats and eggs. Yu Liang was calmly enjoying his noodle when Shi Guang suddenly snatched a slice of meat from his bowl. He was grateful that at least... that brat… that... Yu Liang ran out of bad names to call him… Shi Guang was using chopsticks instead of his fingers.

"What's the price for this?" he asked innocently.

Yu Liang was stunned. "W-what?"

"You told me once that everything has its price. So, I'm asking you now, what's the price for the piece of meat that I just took?"

"Shameless thief."

"Hey, I'm ready to pay here. Name your price."

Yu Liang had tried… Heaven knows he tried so hard to ignore this insolent brat in front of him, but he couldn' .it.

"Two… kisses."

Yu Liang knew he was playing with fire but see if he cared. "On my cheeks."

"Okay."

They felt nice, those two kisses, and Yu Liang had decided to just enjoy the moment and not think about it too much.

The next night, after he had completed his nightly routines, Yu Liang found Shi Guang was already on the bed. But there was only one blanket on the said bed, and he was using it.

'Oh, God!'

"Umh… where's your blanket?"

"It's dirty, I put it in the laundry room."

"I'll get you a clean one."

"No, I want this blanket. What's the price?"

Shi Guang's face looked so smug, the glint in his eyes seemed to challenge him, dare him… and he snapped.

Yu Liang grabbed the back of Shi Guang's head, yanked him closer to him, and then kissed him hard on the mouth.

"That is the price."

Yu Liang couldn't help but feel satisfied seeing the smugness has disappeared from Shi Guang's face. However, Shi Guang was not Shi Guang if he did not recover quickly from his shock. He even cheekily licked his lips and whispered, "Paid off with just one kiss? Nice."

Once again, Yu Liang dragged this naughty, insolent, bloody gorgeous young man, who was playing an important role in his life for the last nine years, who was, Heaven helps him, driving him mad, as closely as he could get, toward him.

"Of course not."

And that was the background story for their tale: "One Bed, One Blanket, and Tons of Kisses." Who needed two blankets, anyway, right?

On the last night before their flight to Seoul for the Hokuto Cup, Shixiong held a banquet and invited all the parties related to the National Youth Team, including family, friends, and sponsors. Yu Liang had warned his… (can he say boyfriend now?)… over and over again, to be on his best attitude and not to repeat the similar incident that happened when they had dinner with Senior. Shi Guang had given Yu Liang his words, that all the matters that require "payment" will be resolved later on when they get home.

Yu Liang was standing in front of the mirror to make the last adjustment of his bow tie. Shixiong would pick them up in thirty minutes. However, before he could put on his dinner jacket, two slim arms that belonged to his boyfriend (there, he said it) were holding him from behind.

"Take off your shirt."

"Shi Guang, this isn't the time. Shixiong will get here very soon, you better put on your suit now."

"But I want to wear your shirt tonight."

"Shi Guang…"

"What's the price?"

'Fuck!'
