Old lady Emma

beth1980 asked for a oneshot of Emma, while living with her parents, wakes up as an old lady. Her mind hasn't changed. At some point, Charming says to her "Young or old, still my baby."

This one goes out to my friend KRF, who will now never get the chance to grow old. RIP, my friend. May you now be at peace x

"Oh would you stop laughing." Emma snapped. She didn't see what was funny about any of this at all.

"Sorry, sorry. It's just…not many parents will see their child go grey before them. I love the perm, by the way." Charming teased her as he fought to control his sniggering.

"I have a walking stick. Don't make me use it." Emma warned him. Charming's eyes sparkled with mischief.

"Now Emma, don't waste your strength on that. Otherwise it'll just be creamed corn for your dinner tonight." He said before bursting into fits of laughter. Emma sighed in frustration. There wasn't much she could do right now. She had the body of a seventy year old, she had to conserve her energy.

There had been an accident with Emma practicing her magic. Now here she was, the old lady she would become. At first, everyone had panicked. Had Emma actually aged herself forty years?! But once Regina assured them all it was temporary and would reverse itself within a few days, they relaxed. Charming was now finding the whole thing rather hilarious. Emma often teased her parents about being old (despite the lack of an age difference). He guessed karma played its part. "Aw come on, don't be like that." He said when he noticed Emma was clearly going into a huff. "Come on Emmy. Young or old, you'll always be my baby. Come on, give us a smile." Instead of a smile, Charming got a scowl. He laughed. He would work on that. Hopefully it wouldn't be long before the real Emma was back. Although, hopefully long enough so that Emma forgot her dad's cheeky remarks and he was spared her wrath.
