Can't quite believe it

disneygeek asked for a oneshot of Emma telling Snow that she still can't believe that her mom is Snow White. Then she tells her mom how much she admires her.

Emma watched the credits roll after the movie. It took quite a while for Emma to convince her mother to watch it. It was yet another inaccurate portrayal of her from Hollywood. Yet, eventually Emma wore her down and they sat down together to watch Snow White and the Huntsman.

"Well, it wasn't as bad in ways as Disney's." Snow admitted. "Although I was never that close with Graham, and Regina, dark as she is, never wanted to eat my heart, and my husband's name is David. Why can none of them get that right?!" Emma laughed.

"Yeah, they never quite get the nitty gritty stuff right." She teased her mom. Snow just playfully rolled her eyes and threw a bit of popcorn at Emma.

"I still can't quite believe it, you know." Emma said quietly. Snow shifted to see Emma better.

"Believe what?" She asked her, curious. Emma bit her lip, still not quite comfortable with emotions.

"Believe that my mother is really Snow White." Emma said quietly. "It's the stuff of every foster kid's dreams." Snow smiled, her heart warming at Emma's admission.

"I can't believe my daughter's Emma Swan." Snow countered her. She loved the way it made Emma blush.

"But seriously though, you're a great mom." Emma said quietly. "You're an awesome person, and I really admire the way you and dad can put up with all that you do and still face it head on. I would have ran by now if it wasn't for you." Emma said. Snow smiled, taking Emma's hand.

"But you didn't run, and you now never will." Snow told her. "I'm proud of you, Emma. Both your father and I are. We never got to raise you, but we're still proud of the woman you've become." Snow told her. Emma shifted around, not sure what to say. Snow didn't want to leave her feeling uncomfortable.

"Ok." She said, getting up. She took the disc out of the machine. "My choice now?" Snow asked. Emma nodded. Snow grinned. Of she had been saving this one up for when she needed it. "Good, I had Henry help me get this from Amazon a while back." She said, opening the TV cabinet and pulling out a DVD. Emma groaned when she read the title: Swan Princess.
