Uncanny resemblance
CabinetLeader asked for a oneshot of the family watching "Something borrowed". They debate over whether or not the main girl (played by Ginny) looks like Snow or not.
I haven't seen the whole movie, but I have seen the push it dance scene haha. Thank you for your kind words!
"No, it's just a coincidence." Snow said as she, alongside Charming, Emma and Henry, watched the screen closely. Every so often, someone would pause the film when there was a close up of Rachel. The family had decided to watch the movie a few nights prior when it was just on TV. That's when they discovered one of the characters bore an uncanny resemblance to Snow. They could be twins. Emma got the DVD online so the family could inspect further.
"I don't know. You sure you're not an identical twin as well? You sure your twin wasn't put through a wardrobe somehow?" Emma asked her. Snow threw a pillow at her daughter's head.
"It might have been thirty years ago, but still too soon." Snow told her off.
"Grandma didn't have a twin, or any siblings. I've read that book from cover to cover and then some." Henry pointed out with his eyes still glued to the screen.
"It is pretty weird Snow. Think we should look up the cast list? Maybe we can find out if this lady has a mole on her…" Emma suddenly clamped her hands over Henry's ears whilst trying to use the couch to cover her own. Her parents had scarred her enough with this kind of talk already. "…right shoulder." Charming continued, amused by Emma's antics.
"I'm not sure I want to know." Snow said, switching the TV off. "It's all a little too weird."
"Yeah." Charming agreed. "Maybe best to let sleeping dogs lie." Emma uncovered Henry's ears and unburied her own head.
"I think so too. Maybe we should all try to forget about this film."
So the DVD was put back in the box, but various excuses were made as to why they shouldn't just throw it in the trash. Then, when nobody else was home, each member of the Charming family would find themselves digging the DVD back out and going over it again independently. Yeah, this was definitely weird.
