In a crowded auditorium, two young men wearing lab coats were standing in front of a crowd. One of them had green hair with glasses on his black eyes. The other had white hair and blue eyes. A man in a tuxedo was holding a check, "Shitagi Briefs?"
The green haired man bowed, "That's me."
The Tuxedo Man turned to the white haired one, "Notaro Gero?"
"Yes."
"It is my honor to hand out this reward to Dr. Briefs for his amazing capsules!"
Tuxedo Man handed the check to Briefs as Gero watched with surprise, "What?!"
"While your energy absorbers were interesting, Briefs' capsules will improve the lives of all mankind."
Gero stormed off the stage as Briefs smiled for the crowd.
Five Hours Later
Gero was working in a garage, "Notaro Gero?"
Gero grabbed a nearby gun and aimed it at the person who said it. The person was a man in purple ninja clothing and had a pony tail, "Don't shoot!"
"Give me one good reason why I shouldn't pull this trigger."
The ninja was still cowering, "My name is Muraski and I'm here to give you a job."
Gero kept his gun on him, but raised his brow in curiosity, "What kind of job?"
"Only a chance to work with a super power. Have you ever heard of the Red Ribbon Army?"
"I've heard the rumors of it."
"Well, we're in need of some scientist who can make some good weapons and we think you're a great pick."
"What can you offer me?"
"Great pay and a chance for revenge on Dr. Briefs."
Gero put the gun down, "I accept."
Murasaki grinned, "Good. Now come with me."
Three Days Later
Gero was standing in a laboratory. It was a simple lab. A couple of computers, some equipment and a counter. Two men with guns came into the room, "Make way for Commander Red!"
A short man with a tux, eye patch, and red hair entered the room, "Gero!"
"Yes?"
"I have a project for you. I want robot soldiers."
Gero was silent for a moment, "Is there a problem with that?!"
"No."
"Good. We're also giving you an assistant."
"An assistant?!"
"Yes. Now get in here!"
A woman with long, curvy, auburn hair, a red and blue shirt, and a lab coat walked into the room. Gero gritted his teeth, "I don't require an assistant!"
"This is to make things faster and I want new equipment as soon as possible."
Gero saw that he was in no position to argue, so he accepted it, "What kind of new equipment would you like?"
"I want robots."
"What?"
"I want robot soldiers! Stronger than the average fighters!"
Gero was baffled by Red's request, "Fully autonomous robots are possible, but it will take time."
"But you can do it?"
"Of course."
"Then get to it!"
Red stormed out of the room as the assistant walked towards Gero, "I look forward to working with you."
"Just don't get in my way."
The assistant looked down sadly, "Okay."
Three Weeks Later
Gero was using a blowtorch on a head shaped piece of metal, "Hand me a data disk."
"That's not very wise with this type of head-"
"Just grab it!"
The assistant grabbed a disk and gave it to Gero. Gero placed it into the head, but it started sparking, "It's not working?!"
"That's what I was warning you about!"
Gero tried to eject the disk, but the assistant grabbed him and pulled him back. The head exploded and a piece of metal got stuck into the assistant's back. She screamed in pain as Gero looked on with shock, "You saved me."
The assistant smiled, "I wasn't going to let someone die."
Gero ran to a counter to grab a medical kit, "Hang on!"
Three Days later
Gero was standing next to the bed the assistant was lying in. The assistant sat up and looked at Gero, "Morning."
"I hope you are in good shape."
"I am."
The assistant stood up and stretched, "How has the project been going?"
"I placed things on hold until you recovered."
"Really?"
"I'll require your assistance."
The assistant smiled, "I'd be happy to provide it."
Three Years Later
The assistant and Gero were standing at an altar, "I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bribe."
Gero and the assistant kissed as some of the soldiers cheered...mainly because they were held at gunpoint.
One Year Later
Gero was holding a baby and showed him to the assistant, "Behold. Our son."
The assistant grabbed the baby, rustling his red hair, "He's perfect."
Five Years Later
Gero was working on a large robotic arm and the assistant was putting a large leg together. Their son came in with a bird shaped robot that flew onto one of the robotic arms, "Son, you should be careful. This is delicate equipment."
The son looked down, "Sorry."
The assistant placed her hands on his shoulder, "It's okay, but we can't risk damaging the equipment."
Gero carried the robot bird and gave it to the son, "Try to have the bird bot look in a mirror. I would like to know how it behaves."
The son nodded and walked off, "Okay daddy!"
Twenty Years Later
Gero and the assistant were helping the son, who was quite large now, get ready to leave, "Now son, you need to give it all you have for the Red Ribbon Army."
The son hugged Gero and the assistant, "I'll make you both proud."
The son walked out of the room, ready to make his mark on the world.
Ten Years Later
Gero was working a robotic frame, when a soldier came in, "Sir. We have very bad news."
"Out with it."
"Our main fortress has been destroyed. Your son was there."
Gero dropped his tool as he turned to face the soldier, "He's dead."
"Yes sir."
The assistant was standing at the door with her eyes widened, "No."
Gero approached her with tears in his eyes, "My loveā¦."
She ran off as Gero collapsed and started crying. The soldier left the room as Gero turned to the robotic frame, "He can live."
Fifteen Years Later
Gero, now appearing much older with grey hair, balding hair, and wrinkles, was working extensively on a robot that looked like his son. The assistant, with grey hair and wrinkles of her own, came in with an expressionless look on her face, "Subjects 13, 14, and 15 are now contained, ready for repairs. Subjects 17 and 18 are currently being implemented with the experimental power cores."
Gero turned to her, "Good. Now we will turn our focus to 19."
The assistant turned to the android based on the son, "Is 16's progress going well?"
"His body is getting closer to perfection every day."
The assistant smiled as she held the machines face, "Our baby boy will walk the earth again-"
She grasped her chest as she fell to the ground. Gero turned to see her, "Oh no!"
He turned her to face him and started shaking her, "Speak to me!"
He turned to his lab counter and grabbed a veil with pink goo in it, then poured it down the assistant's throat. The body melted into the pink good, latched onto 16's body and turned into the young body of the assistant, "Incredible!"
He turned to his computer and saw that the computer was programming some features into her, "I see. We can live forever. I must resume my work."
Gero grabbed his tools and left the lab.
Six Years Later
Gero, now with his brain in a jar, gazed upon a green organism that was floating in water, "Project Perfection is on schedule. It will only take two and a half decades for it to be ready. Subject 17 and 18 will be the perfect sources for it. 19! Deploy the data drones. We need all the info we need."
A fat robot pressed some buttons and deployed some bug shaped drones. Gero went to work on his arm, "We need all the advantages we can get."
Five Years Later
Gero put a hat over his exposed brain as he and 19 were standing in front of a computer, "It's time to test our power."
19 giggled in a creepy child-like voice, "We will terminate them all!"
"West City will fall and Son Goku will soon follow!"
Gero turned to a containment unit, but turned back around, "Son Goku will pay."
