It was a beautiful day underwater in the Great Barrier Reef. All the fish were awake, starting their day.
The Tank Gang was asleep in their den. As Deb slowly started to wake up, she yawned silently, and rubbed her eyes. Deb saw that her twin sister, Flo, was also awake.
"Good morning, sis!" she said.
"Morning, Flo!" Deb squealed excitedly.
"I'd better go... what should I do?" Flo asked.
"Nemo, the young clownfish, who has a smallest fin on the right," Deb corrected.
"Oh, okay. So I'd better go wake Nemo up, you say. See you later," Flo responded, and swam over to find Nemo and wake him up.
Once Flo reached to the small neighborhood, with a corral hut where Dory was sleeping in, snoring soundly. Flo covered her hearing with annoyance, and swam to the anemone, where Nemo and his father, Marlin, were sleeping as well, not making a sound.
Flo approached to Nemo slowly, and shook him, saying softly,
"Hey, Nemo. Time to wake up! Everyone is awake."
Nemo surely woke up, and faced Flo.
"Oh, hi, Deb's sister! What's the news?" he asked silently.
"Come on, I'll show you!" Flo responded, and took Nemo by the fin, but told Marlin, who just woke up after a yawn,
"Hey, Nemo's father, I am just taking your son for bug news to my twin sister Deb and her friends."
Marlin nodded his head, and said,
"Okay. Let me just wake Dory up and start breakfast first."
Then, Marlin swam out of the anemone to wake Dory up. Flo nodded, and lets go of Nemo's fin as she said,
"Don't worry, young man, your father is gonna wake your friend up, and we're gonna have breakfast, that is all. See you later!"
Nemo nodded, and waved goodbye to Flo, who did the same and swam back to Deb. Then, he turned and saw Marlin with Dory, who was awake.
"Morning, Marlin. It's early, right?" she asked with a yawn.
"Yes, Dory, but my son has news from his friends," Marlin responded.
"Ooh, what news? Good news?" Dory squealed as she felt delighted.
"You'll find out soon, Dory! Now let's have breakfast," Nemo finished the sentence.
Marlin and Dory nodded, and the three started to get breakfast eaten after being ready.
As Flo told Deb the word, she left inside their den to get stuff ready for the day, since Deb knew that she and Bubbles were meant for each other. As Deb squealed, she swam to Bubbles, who was sound asleep. Deb nudged him gently, saying,
"Bubbles! Wake up! Wake up, wake up, wake up! The two of us are going to get married!"
Bubbles shot up, confused at that moment.
"I'm sorry, Deb, what did you say?"
Deb frowned a bit, and recapped into his hearing,
"The two of us are married as husband and wife. Get it?"
Bubbles popped his eyes for a moment, and squealed,
"You're right... Of COURSE we are meant for each other!"
He nudged and kissed Deb on the forehead. As Jacques woke up, too, he said,
"Volía, you two are gonna show strong feelings for each other! Why won't you two get in the kitchen? I'll make you all breakfast."
Bubbles and Deb nodded, and met Flo in the kitchen. Jacques scuttled iver to Gill, who was sound asleep with passion as he rubbed Peach's back with his left fin.
"Hé, réveille-toi! Did you hear the news?" Jacques said as he shook Peach first.
Stirring, Peach groaned quietly, doing her best to keep facing the ground, since she is a starfish. Peach said, as her voice muffled from the ground,
"Not right now, Jacques."
Jacques facepalmed himself, but started to wake Gill instead, going to his side.
"Psst, Gill, wake up!" he said.
Jacques slowly shoved Gill by the snout; Gill stirred, and sighed with annoyance between snores and moans, groaning in his sleep,
"Jacques, you heard what Peach said; not now!"
Suddenly, Jacques frowned a little, but saw Gurgle and Bloat awake. He motioned the two to get to the kitchen, to make them breakfast for a few minutes. Doing so, Jacques scuttled over to see Nemo, who was finishing up breakfast with Marlin and Dory. As Nemo faced Jacques, he said,
"Oh, hi, Jacques, what seems to be the problem?"
"Bonjour, Nemo. I just need you to do me a favor while I make your friends breakfast. Can you just wake Gill and Peach for me?" Jacques responded.
"Oh, of course! I can help you."
Jacques smiled, and took Nemo by the left fin, scuttling him into the other den. Nemo motioned Marlin and Dory to come, just in case they finish.
As Jacques left Nemo next to Gill and Peach, who were still sound asleep. As Nemo watched Jacques scuttle into the kitchen, where the others were waiting, the clownfish shook the moorish idol first. Nemo said,
"Psst, Gill. Gill, you overslept!"
In his sleep, Gill kept on snoring, until he shot up.
"Wait, what? Oh, boy, Peach, I think we overslept," Gill said.
Peach revealed her face in confusion and shock, and added,
"My, you are right, honey! Oh, did I forget to mention the news that Bubbles and Deb are married, since they're meant for each other?"
Nemo gasped, and felt delighted. Gill chuckled, rubbing Nemo's head as he said,
"Okay, Sharkbait, you got us. Why won't you wait here until Deb and Bubbles get ready?"
Nemo giggled as he nodded. Gill took Peach with him as they met back in the kitchen.
Moments later...
After breakfast, Nemo's school friends are with their parents, seated. The others in the gang remaining: Gurgle, Bloat, Jacques, and Peach, whom he held, were seated in the front. On the other hand, Nemo, Marlin, Dory, and Gill were sitting with Flo, who was with them as well, tearing up happily, because her twin sister is getting married.
"Ooh, my sister Deb is gonna get married!" Flo squealed.
"So is Bubbles, what do you think, Sharkbait?" Gill responded, as he told this to Nemo.
"Yes! I am excited! Have you and Peach been feeling the love?" Nemo asked.
"Well, yes. Me and Peach were meant for each other, since I got separated from the love of my life, including my family, years ago," Gill replied quietly.
"Me, too. I got separated from my wife Coral, because a barracuda ate her, and lots of Nemo's siblings," Marlin chimed in.
"I was separated from my family, too, but I believe they are still alive, right there," Dory added in, pointing at her parents, Jenny and Charlie, who were sitting with her friends, Hank, Destiny and Bailey.
"Cool!" Nemo said.
"Shh, honeys, here comes the bride and the groom!" Peach shushed the five from behind.
The others stayed quiet, and spot Deb and Bubbles dressed in a reefy wedding clothings. The two swam up to the wedding porches, where Crush is becoming the wedding minister.
As he asked Bubbles to have Deb as his wife, Bubbles agreed; as Crush asked Deb to take Bubbles to be her husband, she agreed.
"Okay, dudes! I now pronounce these two husband and wife!" Crush added to everyone with a smile.
Bubbles and Deb blushed, and leaned a kiss. Their friends cheered. They even waved goodbye to Bubbles and Deb, who went on a wedding honeymoon trip.
Much, much later...
As Deb told Bubbles the secret, he spreads the word to his friends for her. Nemo, Marlin, Dory and the rest of the Tank Gang were delighted.
Time progressed, until they gave put presents for Bubbles and Deb's newborn child. Once they did so, they gave the two a hug, but all of a sudden, Deb felt the pain, and started to go into labor, letting out a yelp.
The others stepped back in shock. As well, Bubbles held Deb's fin, asking,
"Honey? What's wrong?"
"The baby, it's COMING!" she wheezed.
"Quick! We have to take her to the infirmary to coach through!" Gill said.
"I am on it!" Bubbles said, and took Deb with him, swimming back to their den.
Gill motioned the gang, Nemo, Marlin and Dory to come with him. The others agreed, and did so.
The fish doctors were approaching to the infirmary with Bubbles and the painfully-breathing Deb, as if she was gonna give birth.
The others remaining: Nemo, Marlin, Dory, Gill, Peach, Gurgle, Bloat and Jacques were waiting in the lobby to see the delivery from the baby of Bubbles and Deb.
"Gill? Is Deb gonna be okay?" Nemo asked.
"Don't worry, Sharkbait. Bubbles is in the infirmary room and he is also taking care of Deb. She'll be okay," Gill responded in comfort.
"He's right, honey, no need to be scared," Peach said.
"And once the baby is here, everything's gonna be all right!" Dory cheered.
"Are you sure Deb is fine?" Marlin asked in confusion.
All of a sudden, the fish felt stiffened as they heard Deb's loud, piercing scream.
"Who ever knew Deb screamed that loud?" Gurgle asked sarcastically.
"Oh, boy. That really hurts so much for one baby who is inside an egg," Bloat chimed in.
"I'm sure my twin sister's fine," Flo added in.
As one of the fish doctors came, the others ran to him. Flo asked as she was the first one to come to him,
"How is she? Is she still alive?"
The fish doctor chuckled as he said,
Miss Deb has successfully given birth to a healthy baby girl. And they are both doing perfectly fine."
The others gasped.
"Wow, cute..." Gill said in awe.
"A girl? Yay! It's fantastic!" Dory cheered.
"I can't wait to see her, too, Dory!" Nemo agreed.
Bloat, Gurgle, Jacques and Flo squealed with delight. Marlin was confused at that moment as he said,
"But wait, what does she look like?"
In the infirmary, Bubbles and Deb had the egg with them. As the egg was hatched already, the baby girl looked at her parents.
"Hi, little darling! I'm your mommy!" Deb said tearfully with a smile.
"Hello, cute one! I'm your daddy," Bubbles said sweetly.
As the baby girl opened her eyes, it was colored purple. Her body was a dark green damselfish with a tang tail, although she is a yellow tang and indigo-and-white striped damselfish hybrid.
As Flo and the others came to check on Deb, the baby saw her aunt, and smiled, reaching her fins for a hug.
"Aww, Flo, I think she wants to say hello to you!" Deb said in awe.
Flo smiled, approaching to her niece. She nuzzled the baby, who hugged her back. Nemo, Marlin, Dory, Gill and the others said in unison,
"Aww!"
"What do you think we are gonna name the baby?" Bubbles asked.
"I got one! We'll name her Trixie!" Deb added.
"Trixie? I don't get it," Bubbles said in confusion.
"I like this name! Trixie is a good name!" Nemo cheered.
"You said it right, Deb! This name touched my heart," Gill added in awe.
"Cute name, honey!" Peach agreed sweetly.
Gurgle, Bloat and Jacques agreed in awe, nodding their heads. Bubbles stared, and chuckled in agreement.
"Okay, love. Trixie, it is!"
Bubbles and Deb looked back at baby Trixie. Trixie made infant sounds, as she climbed herself out of the fish egg.
Hopefully, some fish in a friendly group were meant for each other; and used to have a family. At last, their family bonding will start someday.
