After what now?

SecretLoveCara asked for a oneshot of Emma looking at, and talking about, the "after ever after" series of books. Thanks for the description of the books, I haven't actually read them (nor can I find them on Google) so that's all I have to go on!

Rock Trex: Sorry, but I'm not sure I could comfortably write that.

Marijke Bush: That has already been written.

Guest: Unfortunately that has already been covered.

"Should we tell Ariel she and Eric are supposed to have some fiery red headed lad named Charles?" Emma asked, sniggering at the illustrations in the book. "Only I'm not sure how little Noah will feel. He might request a DNA test when he's older." Snow and Charming playfully rolled their eyes. They had found the series of children's books at the local bookstore and thought they might be good for a laugh. Emma certainly thought so, at any rate.

"You know these weren't written by an official Author like Henry." Charming reminded her. "They're all fiction."

"I should hope so." Emma said mischievously as she dug out the Snow White book. She flicked through the pages until she found one with an illustration of Snow White, Prince Charming and their supposed daughter. "Otherwise I'm fairly sure I've been lied to and you actually adopted me. Plus, I seem to be an only child in this book. Where is my darling little brother?" Emma teased them, like they had any control over this world's fictional representations of them. Snow took the book off of Emma and peered at it closely. She looked between the picture in the book and Emma.

"Yeah, you're right. This child isn't nearly as cute as the real deal." Snow said, handing the book over to Charming.

"Yeah, no blonde waves, and I bet this child doesn't go as red when her parents tease her after she wound them up in the first place." Charming pointed out. Emma took the book back and placed it at the bottom of the pile.

"Point made." She grumbled. "Don't wind up mom and dad." Snow and Charming each gave the other a smug smile. They were slowly working out how to wind Emma up when she started it, and it was one of their greatest discoveries.
