It was Friday, four days since her encounter with an old enemy turned love interest. Angela grumbled as she awoke to a silent room and stretched in bed. "Wonder what I should do today" she sighed. She sat with one leg hanging over the edge of the bed, the other pulled close to her. "Hmm…The one thing about having days off on account of not having a class that day of the week is that it is hard to find something to do." Her head rested in her palm as she thought "I should go to the-" her phone made a noise that sounded like a little fairy delivering a note. "Who's texting me?…Ninny-Poo?" she pressed the view button and read the message under her breath "Do you have class today Angie? I don't, and I am so bored." She quickly replied saying "No. I don't think you'd wanna do what I'm gonna do today." A few moments later she got another "Try me." She grunted and typed back "I am going to the beach. Since it doesn't involve spending money, I am sure you won't want to go." Suddenly her phone rang "What?" "Come on Angela. Why can't I come with you? I could give you a ride if you want." "Fiiine. Pick me up at my place by nine." "Alrighty!"
Angela changed into her orange swim trunks and baggy, dark blue t-shirt. She went downstairs and got a towel out of the cabinet in the hallway and wrapped it around her shoulders. "I'm going to the beach okay?" she told her parents. Since she was eighteen, her parents felt she should have certain freedoms, as long as she told them about it. "Have fun Angelfish." "Yeah, have fun emo girl!" Mark said, making Derek laugh "I can't believe you two are still such a-rrr never mind! And I am not emo for the trillionth time!" "You're hair is short and slightly in your face like one" Derek stated "And you are pretty angsty" Mark added. "Mooom, daaad, aren't you going to control your twenty-four year old apes!?" she said as she finished putting her sandals on. "Boys! Stop picking on your sister!" Gen said "You guys came to visit, not torment your sister!" "Tchh, you mean more than they have my entire life?" Just then a knock on the door was heard "That's my ride. Bye mom, dad, LuLu!" "Hey, what about us?" The door slammed an answer.
"You okay Angela? You're scowling pretty harshly." "It's my brothers." "They're still living in your house?" "No, thank gawd. They're visiting. They live four and a half hours away-perfect, if you ask me." "Still jerks I see." "Yeah. The moron in them can make them okay at times, but in the end, it's always been about what they want." "I'm sorry" Nanette said and patted her hand "I love how passionate you are, standing up to those who try to put you down." "I'm the type that will be dropped a-k-a killed before I let them get what I protect. The type that will go down fighting. The type that will take the person who stabbed my heart with me to hell. I don't want my enemies to have the satisfaction of me being weak." "Wow Angela…That's totally you. Is that why you always put up such a tough front?" "Yeah…" "Awww." "Also..I don't want to fit into the stereotypical girl. The girl who cries at all those sad moments in movies, or is too chicken to go someplace or do something scary. I just don't want to have weaknesses alright." "Well you are human." "I know, but still…"
Alfredo rolled up to the beach in the family car, which looked very much like a presidential one, and let the girls out. "You can go do whatever Alfredo; I will call when we're ready to leave." The man nodded and slowly drove off. Angela headed for the beach as Nanette waved her butler off. "Hey wait up!" she called after her as they navigated the trail down to the course sand. Angela laid her towel down and fell back on it. "That's all you came here to do? Lounge around like you would at home?" "You don't understand. It's much more relaxing doing nothing in nature versus doing nothing at home. Like when I go to that old cemetery off Dover Hill." "You like cemeteries? Can I ask why?" Angela got herself more situated before answering "It's old. It's quiet and old. Let's me ponder people's lives in that era and apply it to myself." "Wow, that's very interesting" Nanette replied, seated in the sand beside her. She got up and meandered to what looked like a big rock, but was actually an island of eroded cliff. "I like to just be alone. Mostly in types of weather, not just nature. I love going for walks in the rain. When it's cold, I like visiting wooded areas. And in the summer, I just find the best shady spot" she giggled at the last one as she leaned against the cliff remnant.
Angela propped herself up on her forearms, legs crossed. A smile bled from ear to ear "I wouldn't beee there if I were yooou." "Uhh, why is that?" Angela pointed to incoming waves. A good sized wave kicked off the rock and tackled Nanette like she was a wide receiver who just caught the ball. "Aaaagh!" she yelped at the sharp chill she got all over. She flipped her hair out of her face, which seemed like slow-motion to Angela. Nanette rung out her hair "What's that look for?" she chuckled. The auburn haired girl didn't reply, she couldn't help looking at the other girl's chest, being that she could see her bra. "My gawd…" she thought "If I was a guy, I'd have the biggest boner right now." The soaking blonde came up to her and asked for her towel. "Nope." "Oh come on, pleeease?" "Not gonna happen. And stand over there, I don't wanna get wet." "Right here?" Nanette said as she took a big step closer. "No! Back!" "How about here?" she asked as she then plopped down on Angela, putting her right leg between the girl's legs. "Ugggh! Get off dammit!" "Not gonna happen" Nanette giggled and gave her a bear hug. Angela felt her eyes roll back in her head at the overall feeling…The cold, the wet, a gorgeous girl's breasts in her face, how could this not feel good? She unintentionally let out a muffled moan as she weakly wrapped her legs around the one Nanette had between her legs. Nanette noticed the advancement and chuckled lightly, making Angela hug her back tighter. She kissed the top of her head and loosened the hug around her shoulders.
"Hey lezbos!" a passer by said. "Fuck you!" Angela racquetballed back as she shot up. Nanette got off her and kneeled beside her. "Excuse me!?" he said, whirling around, his two friends did the same. "You are not excused asshole!" "Hey blondie!" the guy called to Nanette who looked at him in disgust. "Go..away..now!" Angela demanded as a warning, standing up and eyeing a huge stick behind Nanette. "Fuck you dyke! C'mon blondie, come hang out with a buncha studs like us" he winked doggishly. "No thank you, I've already got one" she retorted and wrapped her arms around Angela's waist. "Come 'ere" he said to Angela "I'm gonna kick your ass!" "Angie don't!" "Let go of me Nin!" She pulled her hands off and dove for the stick. Upon return standing up, she belted him upside his head, making him stumble and fall quite a ways away. He was too disoriented to get up and had to be helped up by his friends who cursed at both him and Angela as they took him to their jeep.
The girl sighed and looked down at her towel with her hands on her hips like what she did was just an average event. "So much for relaxing!" Nanette couldn't think of anything to say, she kind of felt like the whole thing was her fault "I'm sorry." "I'm going home." "At least let my driver give you a ride." "Okay, whatever." The ride back was deadly quiet, consisting only of Angela looking out the window at every passing tree and Nanette shyly looking over, hoping she'd hear something from her. The blonde got out and walked her to her house "Hey, I'm really sorry. I shouldn't have come." "No," she replied halfheartedly "it's…fine. Bye." "-Angie!" "Yeah?" "Uhhm…Does your phone get pictures?" "Yeah, why?" "Just asking. Anyway…Bye" she hesitated, but pecked Angela's cheek and walked away quickly.
