A/N: I know it's been a while. I was having trouble getting motivated to continue my stories, but I'm back now and ready to continue!! I'm hoping to have Tristen realize what's going on in this chapter. Enjoy :)

"What was that about?" Clint asks as Natasha and Steve walk out of the interrogation room. "She thinks she's on a movie set."

"She thought my knife was a prop and wasn't even fazed," Natasha explains.

The Avengers are all standing on the other side of the one way mirror. Bruce was silently standing off to the side and looking in the room where the girl, Tristen, was sitting on the edge of the bed with her head in her hands. He decided to voice his theory about the situation.

"She's from an alternate dimension," he states, looking back at his teammates.

"She's an intruder who broke in just as we were planning a mission to retrieve the scepter. She's probably Hydra," Natasha says.

"No," disagreed Tony, "Bruce has the right idea." Bruce looked shocked that Tony agreed with him while the others just seemed unsure. "Think about it. A girl just randomly appears in the gym and passes out from exhaustion. She has no records that JARVIS could find. And even if she did come here for a reason, why not go to the labs?"

"And why would she act confused?" Steve questions. "I have to agree with Tony and Bruce. If she was some Hydra agent, I think we would have known her agenda."

Thor turns to look at the girl in the room before adding to the conversation. "I have heard stories on Asgard of beings making their way through the multiverse. Though, they are usually aware of their travels."

"One of us needs to go in there and explain things to her. Have a normal conversation without interrogating her. If she is from another dimension she's probably scared and confused," Steve explains.

Clint points at Natasha, "She liked Nat! Send her back in there."

Natasha glared at Clint then realized that everyone was looking at her expectedly. She sighs. "Fine," she says, "but you're coming with me." Natasha grabbed the collar of Clint's shirt and dragged him with her into the room that held the mysterious stranger.

The girl was shaking as she sat on the bed. She looked like she was annoyed and scared at the same time. After the door closed behind him and Nat, the girl looked up at them with tears in her eyes. They walked forward until they were around 5 feet away from the bed.

"Hey kid," Clint says sympathetically. "Can you tell me your name?"

"Tri-Tristen Cherice," she sniffled. She refused to look up from her hands. "Can you please tell me what's going on? I'm sorry if I messed up the scene, b-but I just want to go home."

"Can you tell me how you got here? What do you remember?" Clint asked.

"I'm not sure. I just got home from school and was going to continue my Marvel marathon— I live in New York City. My T.V. wasn't working properly for some reason and the screen was all white. Next thing I knew, I woke up here." Tristen looked up at Natasha who was staring her down and trying to figure out if she was telling the truth. "What's your problem?" she sneered. "Quit looking at me like I kicked your dogs."

Natasha was surprised by Tristen's change of character. The only person to come even close to speaking to her like that was Clint. Even he seemed shocked by what she said.

"We don't know anything about you. We don't know how you appeared in the tower. And we don't know your intentions," Natasha said.

Clint looked from Nat to Tristen and rolled his eyes. "She thinks your Hydra," he explained. Natasha smacked him on the back of the head, but he just gave her a look then continued. "She thinks that you broke in to steal information because we were about to go on a mission."

Tristen looked at them like they were crazy. Both Nat and Clint could tell she was confused.

"Where am I?" Tristen whispered, looking down again. It was barely audible, but they still heard her.

"You are in Avengers Tower. More specifically, in one of our interrogation cells that has been modified to accommodate your health needs after we found you passed out on our gym floor," Clint said.

Tristen pushed her palms against her eyes and started mumbling unintelligibly while shaking her head. Clint and Natasha shared a worried glance. Even though Nat didn't like the fact that a stranger broke into the tower, she was still concerned. Something weird was going on.

"I don't understand," I murmured to myself. "They aren't acting like they are acting. They truly think I'm Hydra. But Hydra doesn't exist. None of this exists. They would have told me if I was on set, wouldn't they? They would have explained. I would have met the set producers and seen cameras. What is going on? I just want to go home. I just want—"

"Hey," Clint interrupts me by putting a hand on my shoulder. I take a shaky breath and lower my hands to look up at him. "It's going to be alright. Just ignore Natasha. She can be quick to accuse. I'm Clint." He holds out his hand for me to shake. "You might know me as Hawkeye."

I reach out to shake his hand and he smiles at me. He glances over at Natasha. They seem to have a silent conversation just by looking at eachother. Next thing I know she was reaching out to shake my hand as well.

"Natasha Romanoff," she says. After I shake her hand there is a minute of awkward silence before realization hits me. I immediately facepalm and look at Clint.

"What year is it?" I ask, already knowing the answer, but I need to confirm my suspicions.

Natasha was the one to answer me with a curious look. "2015," she stated.

I quickly stand up off the bed and walk over to the one way mirror. I know that the other Avengers are on the other side. I notice Nat and Clint get defensive at my sudden movements, but I ignore them. I need to speak with everyone.

Looking straight into the mirror at where I suspect the others are standing, I speak up.

"I need to speak with Tony Stark, Bruce Banner, Steve Rogers, and Thor Odinson." I turn around and look at the assassins in the room with me. "Along with you two. I'm ninety-eight percent sure that I'm stuck in a movie. I can help you get to the scepter, but I'll need you to help me get home."

On the other side of the glass...

Steve was stunned by the girls change in demeanor. She went from injured and scared to utterly confident. And she said she was in a movie?

Tony clapped his hands together, interrupting Steve's train of though. "Well I guess we better get in there. It's starting to look like Brucie-Bear was right after all," he said.

Bruce rolled his eyes and walked into the cell followed by Tony, Steve, and Thor.

The girl looked relieved when they entered.

"Oh thank God I was right," she whispers.

Steve steps forward to question her again, but Tristen was quick to speak up.

"Alright, as happy as I am to be meeting all of you in person, I would really like to get home. But first, since I'm here already, I figure I can help you get Loki's scepter from Hydra and stop the end of the world. We could maybe even save Pietro in the process. Oh that would be so cool. Though, I'm not sure if changing events is a good idea because—"

"What are you going on about?" Tony asks.

"Right, sorry. I got carried away. How do I explain this?" Tristen paused for a moment and everyone waited expectantly. "I think I might be in an alternate universe. I've seen enough movies to know the signs. Where I come from, it isn't 2015. It's 2021. And you all aren't real." Tristen waited to see the Avengers reactions, but they all just looked confused. Minus Bruce and Tony, they looked excited at the idea of another universe.

"Let me rephrase that," Tristen says. "Your characters aren't real. The Avengers don't exist. Asgard and the nine realms don't exist. SHIELD and Hydra don't exist. It's all fake!" Tristen groaned in frustration. "You are all just characters in the MCU—the Marvel Cinematic Universe. I've seen every movie at least ten times and done a ton of research on each of you from the comics. I know everything about you. I know things that you probably don't even know about yourselves. But most importantly, I know what's about to happen. And I can help you save lives."

A/N: I'm not really liking how this story is turning out if I'm being honest. I like the plot that I came up with, but it just seems really cringy. I also feel like the Avengers are kind of OOC. I apologize in advance for how horrible this story is, but I'm going to continue to write it anyways. I hope it brings joy to some of you!!! (Even if it's not my best work)
