The Saviour's home

Jade Star asked for a oneshot of *season 6 spoilers!* Emma returning home after a year spent in other realms helping to train other Saviours. She goes to her parents' farm to help her unwind. Pure Charming family fluff.

It was time to come home. Emma smiled to herself as she flung her final bean down to the ground and watched the vortex form beneath her that would take her back to Storybrooke. Back to home.

About a year prior, Emma had felt that as a Saviour who had survived the fate of the Saviours, it was her duty to find the other Saviours and give them whatever help she could offer. But now, she was ready to go home. She had done all she could do, and met many wonderful people in fabulous and exotic realms. Henry would certainly have a few more tales to add to his book. Well, when he came back for summer break, anyway. He was in college in Virginia. Emma had waited for him to leave home before she left on her journey. She was still looking forward to seeing him, and hearing all about his journalism degree. She couldn't wait to see how much Neal had grown, or to surprise both him and their parents with her return. She couldn't exactly call them to let them know she was on her way. So instead, she just showed up at their doorstep and knocked.

Her mother's scream left Emma's (as well as several neighbours, she was sure) ears ringing. Right before she pulled Emma into a bone crushing, lung squeezing, hug. Snow then pulled Emma from the doorway into the living room, where her dad was playing with Neal on the carpet with his trainset.

"Emmy!" Neal squealed in delight. He scrambled up off the floor and jumped over the trainset and right into Emma's arms. She caught him gladly, pulling him close for a hug.

"I missed you too, kid." Emma said, holding him close. Charming came over and kissed Emma on the forehead.

"You've no idea how much we've missed you." He told her. "How we've been dying to hear from you." He said eagerly. Snow and Charming then sat on the couch. Emma sat opposite them with Neal on her lap as he filled then in on some of her more exciting adventures. Neal stared at his big sister in awe as she told them about her adventures in an underwater realm, supporting a submarine saviour who had previously been a villain in gaining the trust of his people. Snow and Charming couldn't be any prouder. Emma must have touched many lives on her travels. Although they were thrilled to hear what a success her journey had been, they were just glad she was home.
