The first rays of the sun broke through the dark clouds, but Luffy was already up. He heard noises as he walked out of his room. His crew was already working. He took a deep breath before opening the kitchen's door. He smiled as he saw them happy as usual.

Robin's heart hurt as she saw his smile.

It's been six years.

Six years since Nami disappeared from their life, just felt like she never existed, letting behind her a broken heart.

Nevertheless, Luffy was strong. And he dedicated his life to accomplish his dream. Losing Nami shouldn't make him forget that. Even if it hurts like hell.

Well, Luffy was still human. Nami, his queen, wasn't here anymore and when he understood that she had left him forever… he wanted to die. The pain he felt was overwhelming. But he didn't even hate her for that.

No one ever talked about Nami after that. And even Luffy didn't mention her. It was almost scary.

She left, leaving him head full of memories of their past love. He still felt her skin under his hands and her intoxicating scent wouldn't leave his mind.

Now, Luffy was what we could call the Pirate King. Everyone considered him like that. He managed to get that position as the pain became his strength.

The strawhats pirates were getting back on their ship after spending a day in a new town to buy things, as usual. When Luffy was on the ship, he felt that something was off, just like someone was watching him. He immediately tensed, ready to fight the new threat. It wasn't the first time that he was targeted.

Well, trying to rob the Pirate King was a pretty bold thing, since he was literally one of the strongest people on this earth.

He walked slowly, but was surprised when he found a little girl in his room. He was followed by Robin and Zoro.

The little girl stood, looking at them.

"Who are you?" Luffy asked.

The little girl didn't answer.

"Are you lost?" Robin said softly.

"Why isn't she speaking?" Zoro asked, annoyed.

"Mommy told me to be careful with strangers!" The girl said, with a cute high-pitched voice.

"Luffy, she looks like you," Zoro suddenly said.

That was more than obvious. The little girl was beautiful, and she was like a copy of Luffy. Her long black hair was slightly curly, but he couldn't stop looking at her eyes.

Those eyes, he knew them by heart. They had haunted him too many nights.

"Who are you?" Luffy asked again, through clenched teeth.

The girl suddenly felt scared.

Then, she seemed to notice something, and a wide smile spread across her face.

"MOMMY!"

Robin was the first one to notice her.

"Oh my god," was the only thing she managed to say.

Luffy refused to turn and face who was behind him. Because he knew. He knew, and he refused to believe it.

"Luffy..."

Her voice. It was her voice.

Luffy looked at the little girl in front of him again. Then, he noticed that Robin and Zoro were gone, probably trying to let them have some privacy.

The pirate king couldn't exactly describe what he was feeling. Anger? Happiness? The maelstrom of emotions he was experiencing was too much to handle.

He finally slowly turned around, finally facing her.

"Nami." he said.

She shivered, and he noticed the tears she was shedding.

"Who is she?" Luffy asked, pointing to the girl who was now hugging Nami.

"Our daughter." She whispered.

Luffy closed his eyes shut, and it felt like everything was at the right place, for the first time. All the anger he felt sooner seemed to fade away, and now, the only thing that mattered was the two girls in front of him.

He walked toward them, and Nami looked at him with fear. She didn't know how he would react. After all, she left him even though she knew he loved her.

When he smiled, she felt warmth spreading in her chest.

"Welcome home, my loves"
