Patience

A guest asked for a oneshot of Snowing trying to settle an argument over who has the most patience by celibacy until the other breaks.

Guest: I've done things like that with Neal before.

Within three days neither of them could come up with a good reason as to why they were keeping going with this. Well, other than their own egos.

It had all started with a stupid lamp that needed the bulb replaced. Snow had wanted to just go to the hardware store and sort it out there and then, whilst Charming had wanted to just leave it till the next day. He then teased Snow about having no patience. Snow responded by telling him all the times she outdid him on patience, resulting in a full scale war on words between the pair. In the end, they decided the way to settle once and for all who had the most patience was through the one thing both of them loved: each other. Whoever caved first and instigated any form of sexual contact lost. Three days in and both of them were feeling it. Ok, they were no animals, they had gone longer than three days before, but not when it had been all but forbidden! This was different. Now knowing they couldn't do it without losing the bet put it right to the front of their minds. It was made all the worse by the fact they weren't allowed to give themselves a helping hand either. They were both driving themselves insane. They were married, for crying out loud! What was the point in getting married if you couldn't bang each other whenever you wanted?!

Approaching day four, both Snow and Charming were getting antsy. Neither wanted to admit to the other that they needed some action, but it was becoming near impossible. They were the other's gravity, they just naturally pulled together.

So by noon on the fourth day, with Neal at preschool and Emma at the station, they found themselves in bed together, sharing a glow from their own private little workout. Neither was exactly sure who had been the first to cave, neither really cared. What was proven from this experience was that, when it came to each other, neither had any patience whatsoever.
