Niebolt House loomed in the fresh dawn of a new day, the skeleton like structure of a once magnificent Victorian mansion towered ominously overhead like a warning of sorts to all who came across it's path.

Lia gazed up at the massive house with glossy black eyes, a tired expression upon her face and a lit cigarette dangling loosely between pouty blood red painted lips.

Sighing heavily the burgundy haired teenager made her way leisurely up the overgrown pathway smiling softly at the bright yellow wild sunflowers that grew amongst the weeds of the surrounding yardage. Making her way up the steps of the house she came to a gentle stop in front of the front door before taking her half smoked cigarette and putting it out on the bottom of her boot, putting the other half securely behind her ear before swiftly twisting the doorknob and walking inside

Lia had no clue where she was headed exactly, at least not yet, she was following the nudge of her instincts that were telling her when to turn and lift each foot as she moved about the spider web encased inside of the old home. Suddenly the red head found her self jerking to a stop sharply rocking back on her heels before releasing a soft breath through her teeth. She was in some type of study like room judging by the large built in bookshelves, the room was devoid of any furniture except a few random large throw pillows. There were two doors that upon opening she discovered one was a closet and the largest of the two was a door that lead to the basement judging by the look of the staircase leading downward.

Lia sighed and shut the door to the dark room before grabbing the largest pillow and setting it down in the middle of the room, she wondered over to the bookshelf to browse some of the few books still upon it before settling upon some old scholar text book about psychics before she took her seat upon the pillow criss cross and began to silently read the book in the dim room. The only light coming from the large bay floor to ceiling window that was half covered in torn newspapers.

Lia lost her self in the pages of old school science terms and talks of metaphysics not noticing the pair of blue eyes that watched her so intently from the shadows in the corner.

Three hours came and went by the time Lia checked her watch and realized how much time had passed, sighing softly she stood up from the pillow leaving it in its place before returning the book to the shelf and reaching behind her ear to grab her half of a cigarette. She had just put it between her lips and made her way to turn towards the direction of the door to the room when she came face to chest with a large person.

Slowly Lia flickered her now murky black and medium-purple eyes up the figure toward's its face only to set eyes upon the very being she had hope would decide to visit her in the first place.

"You took your time." Lia joked softly as she flicked her right hand up quickly from her pocket to light the end of the cigarette.

Pennywise's eyes followed her every move as if it was the most fascinating thing in the universe, finally his blue gaze shifted back to her curious duo colored stare and he simply gazed at her even more intently.

The pair simply stared at one another. Pennywise doing nothing but standing and Lia calmly finishing her half of cigarette, the pair stood there for what felt like another hour before Pennywise himself broke the silence.

"Your eyes."

Lia blinked owlishly before chuckling as she scrapped the cigarette butt out on her boot for the last time before shoving it in her back pocket.

"After watching your little episode of devour the toddler the other night they keep doing weird things. They stay mostly black now." Lia shrugged saying what she knew.

"It's because you need to feed too." Pennywise explained, his voice held a masculine range and surprisingly serious note to it.

Lia cocked her head in question causing the large clown to frown deeply and and play with his fingers

"Crow brings food but always eats last." Pennywise mumbled childishly even stomping his foot lightly causing Lia to smile fondly even though she was clueless to what the creature was talking about exactly.

"Whose this Crow you talk about Pennywise? You've mentioned them before." Lia questioned

Pennywise's face smoothed out as he looked back at her "You."

Bird People...

Lia bit her cheek so hard she felt the blood gush into her mouth to hold back the physical flinch she wanted to express.

"What is the Crow, Pennywise?"

Pennywise's blue eyes seemed to twinkle as he disappeared and reappeared almost instantly holding his hand out to her gently.

Lia glanced down at his much larger gloved hand, held securely between his pointer finger and thumb was a bulky sterling silver ring. The ring it's self was intricate and shaped like the head of a crow with it's wings coming up wrapping around the side of its head making it apart of the band. The crow's eyes were stunning as in their place were two stunning crystal clear twinkling other worldly neon yellow gems that shimmered and glistened with the tiniest flicker of light hitting them. The ring it's self looked very sturdy yet well worn and could possibly have a good bit of age on it.

Overall though it was well cared for and it was stunning.

"Crow gave Pennywise this to keep safe. Pennywise hid it all this time for Crow." Pennywise almost proudly explained as Lia gently took the ring from him to look at it closer.

"How long have you had this Penny?" Lia breathlessly asked

Pennywise puffed up almost like a peacock at the sound of the nickname she called him by and replied as if it were simple

"The last 600 years before the Crow disappeared but I waited! I knew you'd come back you promised and you never lie."

Lia looked at the now smiling clown in shock. Pennywise was trying to say that she gave him this ring 600 years ago before disappearing? None of this made any sense...

"Pennywise how long have we known each other?" Lia questioned

"Oh Pennywise can't remember that, you were there when Deadlights was created and brought into the microverse... You've always been there though... you're my only friend.."

Lia let out a shaky breath as her heart skipped a beat. Deadlights was over millions of years old and evolved as humans did to be the creature that it was today. If Lia was there when the Deadlights was first born then that means Lia was even older then several millions of years old... or at least her energy was. Some how although all of this information shocked her none of it seemed to scare her it just made her slightly startled. Lia couldn't help but melt though at the almost child like way in which Pennywise expressed his friendship with her. Lia knew in that moment regardless of what either of them had done or would do, she would protect the large clown from any one or anything who wished him harm.

Slowly she slid the bulky ring onto her middle finger on her left hand not surprised at the perfect fit or even at the insane tingles and electric shocks of energy she felt her body slightly convulse with.

She didn't notice the way the crow's yellow eyes glowed but Pennywise did and he held back his manic glee if only a little at finally seeing the ring back where it belonged.

Glancing at Pennywise she smiled fondly which he returned with a beam, Lia totally unaware of her eyes which had turned entirely black and depthless.

Not an once of lilac or even white in sight.

Lia was sweating profusely and felt so shaky and unsteady she might bust her ass at any given moment. She slowly got ready for and made her way to bed, splaying out across the top of her bedspread her head laying just below the pillow.

She was boiling alive.

Bolting upright she ignored the onslaught of dizziness and ripped the baggy t-shirt over her head leaving her in a sports bra and a pair of baggy basket ball shorts. She was drenched in slick sweat, her skin clammy and chilly to the touch but inside Lia felt like a volcano had erupted beneath her muscles and inside her very veins.

Rapidly sucking in air Lia dragged her self to the edge of the bed before falling over and landing harshly onto the floor before stumbling to use the wall to push her self up. Her vision cloudy. Her ears ringing. Her mouth dry. She felt like she was gonna throw up but before she could do so she would choke to death on the scorching bile.

Suddenly a pain filled monstrous roar filled the air from outside her open window, and in that moment Lia knew why her body was behaving this way.

It was preparing its self. It was warning her of what was happening to the owner of that roar.

Pennywise was in danger.
