The Loser's Club fought for their lives against Pennywise at Niebolt House. They tried and tried, each taking a turn to attack but never making any damage until Beverly swung around driving a thick fire poker straight through Pennywise's eye socket.
Everyone froze.
Then Pennywise released a shocked and pain filled roar that shook the very ground they all stood upon as they cowered together away from the rage filled and injured monster who was making a sound that was a cross between choking, giggling, and sobbing.
Bill picked up a large piece of wood from the ground and raised it up quickly intending to drive it through the side of Pennywise's neck when suddenly the wood caught fire in his grasp and rapidly shifted into nothing but ash at his feet.
The Losers all looked in horror thinking that Pennywise even horribly injured could still perform such an act when it was Richie who noticed the new arrival first and when he did, the scream he let out gave Eddie a run for his money.
Everyone quickly looked where Richie was looking only to feel their jaws hit the ground.
Ophelia Quinn stood stock still her long hair was crimson and blowing in an invisible wind, her once lilac eyes were black pools of ink no white or color any where to be seen. Her mouth was twisted in a wicked and cruel grin, feral looking teeth on full display.
Before the Losers could react they felt themselves suddenly and being painfully yanked by an invisible force and sent tumbling before being carelessly thrown. Once they all landed in a sprawled mess, the group realized they had crashed landed in the road in front of Niebolt House just as the front door and the metal gate out front slammed shut at the exact same time and briefly glowed with yellow light.
None of the younger kids could say a word at first for not even the clown had terrified them as bad as the encounter with Lia Quinn.
"What...the fuck..." Stanley wheezed.
The rest couldn't help but silently agree.
Lia had thrown Pennywise's large arm over her shoulder and practically carried the massive creature down the sewer and into the depths of his cave inside the well where he once originated from. Lia had some how put the clown to sleep and removed the firepoker before helping him to heal quicker then he would normally. Once that was over with she laid him to rest on his large beaded down area before quietly going back to the top and stealthily going into town and kidnapping a kid, some young girl around twelve who was a whimpering mess. Lia bound her with some old rope and used a bandanna as a gag to keep her quite till Pennywise woke up. Using powers she didn't know she had before today she lured the girl to sleep and softly implanted horrific and terrifying nightmares inside the girls mind, so horrible the girl had tears streaming down her closed eyes in her sleep.
Now Lia waited for Pennywise to wake up.
Pennywise awoke to an all too familiar scent.
Lilacs, moss, fresh rain, and magic. Powerful and old, incredibly old magic.
His tired blue eyes flickered open causing him to groan in frustration at the sharp pain that shot through his skull at the action.
The presence beside him didnt shift but she did give a soft chuckle causing him to pout in her direction.
Lia had made her self at home upon the large stone where he had covered it by old clothing and blankets and such in layers to make the surface a little softer. He may have been a monster but he didn't like things too uncomfortable. Lia had a large extremely soft and shiny turquoise colored fleece blanket bundled around her like a little nest with a large squishy yet slightly firm pillow behind her allowing her to prop up comfortably. Pennywise felt warmth in the most comforting way at seeing the red head in his bed area in her own little nest, his little crow may have appeared in a different shape but she was still oh so the same.
"Dinner is ready." Lia nodded her head over Pennywise's shoulder causing the large clown to sit up and look in the direction she pointed out.
A young female child was tied up and shaking harshly like a leaf in the breeze of a storm, her face covered in snot and tears as she steadily sobbed soundlessly behind a thick gag. Her eyes were wide open and pinned with terror her pupils dilated with pure horror and adrenaline. The poor girl looked irreparably traumatized and reeked of a potent and mouth water fear that caused Pennywise to instantly drool like a toothless baby as soon as the delicious smell hit his nose.
Lia chuckled again this time a little louder as Pennywise growled and bolted forward to feast, the young woman went back to her book in her lap that she had been reading moments prior not being the least bit phased by the petrified screeches from the little girl and the ravenous growls of hunger from Pennywise.
After he finished his meal Pennywise fell into a small food coma of sorts due to his past injuries and the overwhelming rejuvenation of the meal The Crow had prepared him.
Upon waking, Pennywise felt the best he had in 600 years.
While the large clown came back to his senses Lia went back to the upstairs house and went to one of the bathrooms she knew would still work and cut the shower on. Of course there was no hot water but Lia didn't mind as she stripped of her dirty clothes and began to clean herself of the grimes and dried sweat and blood that coated her flesh. After she felt she had rinsed off thoroughly she cut the water off and went to step out of the tub when she noticed a large fluffy red towel on the counter folded neatly and a new outfit for her to wear.
Looking the clothes over she smiled at the outfit that Pennywise sent for her, a pair of very light colored denim jeans with the knees ripped out and a baggy khaki colored band t-shirt that had faded black writing on it to the point you couldn't really make out what it once said.
Once dried off and dressed she threw the towel over her hair and over her shoulder up in a twist and went back down stairs to find Pennywise.
Walking through the house in search of her friend she slightly frowned wondering where he made his way off to or if he had come up from the well at all, with a sigh she turned around to head back to the door to the study when she once again came face to chest with a figure.
A large, broad, strongly built masculine figure. The figure had a black v-neck t-shirt on and a pair of black form fitting jeans that were boot cut to fit the black combat boots that they were neatly tugged into. Finally glancing up wards she saw an incredibly handsome man's face with strong, sharp, facial features that would catch anyone's attention and bright blue eyes that made her heart skip a beat. His light brown/dark blonde hair was combed back neatly from his face but there were a few strands casually falling forward to frame it.
Handsome was an understatement in Ophelia's book. And those god damn blue eyes were all too familiar..
"Pennywise.." Lia breathed
The towering man gave a wicked grin in response.
Oh how the game just changed..
