Caleb couldn't...his mind couldn't remember the last time he'd held his older sister. The last time his eyes saw her...saw you. What felt so long, now, seem like nothing more than an instant blink. One moment she was gone from his life...forever...he remembered being told that dreadful day...after the raid..the attack she lead that ended up being nothing more than a ambush. Where mostly everyone came back, but, his world was ripped from him as she was. He stood there...those green eyes, same ones he and his sister shared.

Eyes that held strength, fearlessness if not cunning and above all...Caleb to the bottom of his soul knew well it burst through his body...boundless love. For everyone, but most importantly...for him. The way his memory recalled the moment, any moment her eyes fell on him glisten with it. Brightly. Always putting a smile on his face and letting him know..know how important and special he was. Her arms would instantly fling open welcoming him into a warm and tight hug. That came with a small twirl and laughter shared between them.

Despite the circumstance they and others lived in. It was always blissful, when it was just the two of them. And whenever...whenever she came back from a mission, a winning one he was there waiting for her. Like any good solider...but in his case brother. She was tired but held that conjuring smirk of pride that was just...amazing.

She did it.

That was all, that ran in his mind. She did it. Victory, again and again. Her sword held high over her head, standing strong. He raised his wooden one in response to her, mirroring her and they'd...they'd shout together. Both of them into the air mighty roars erupting from them.

He'd then proceed and run into her arms, she scoop him up and toss him high. She'd always catch him, always...though that day...the skies where darker than before. The winds seem to cry...there was no might roar...not thrusting of the sword high sky. No...grinning...no tossing up...no nothing.

No...No..

Rosemary.

No sister.

Nothing.

Victory was the last thing in young Caleb's mind that day..cause his victory of seeing his sister taken. The only thing returned was himself and...her sword. The only thing that was placed in his small hands that trembled, the same with his eyes that he tried to keep from leaking but they came...in silence. After his painful cries for his sister to return to him.

To stop hiding, because...because it wasn't funny anymore.

But, his mind quickly came to terms that she...she wasn't hiding at all.

No.

His heart ripped...she was gone. Like days themselves...days that would never return back...moments that wouldn't come back no matter how much he wanted them too, as he grew and came to lead the resistance himself.

Until...until now.

Here in his arms, wrapped so tightly around their curled shoulders, growing tighter for each second that passed between them, for all the years of believing and...hoping. He did his best to hold back his own tears that stung in the corner of his eyes, while their's just poured out. With their shuttering breathing that grew tenser by the moment. It was understandable, after all...his sister..you just lost your son.

His nephew he had no idea every existed until a few moments ago, like he did finding out his sister was alive this whole time...living here on Earth. And from what his ear managed to hear from the Guardians, a P.E. teacher. Their P.E. teacher, using a last name...a false one at that.

It didn't matter, he had his sister back. That's all that mattered right now and getting his nephew back. The little boy he meet that one night, when his thoughts submerged upon him.

The little boy...stuck his head out asking him what was wrong. Caleb didn't notice it at first, but his nephew's eyes looked so familiar. The green was so uncanny, but, he couldn't put two and two together...until it was too late. And now...

Squeezing you tighter, Caleb tired his best to muffle your cries that echoed halls of Candracr. But, it did little. Will and the others did their best to hold themselves together, Taranee kept her eyes to the floor. Cornelia nearly did the same, turned her head to the side holding herself. Irama and Hey Lin, who the latter shared your tears swallowed the lump sitting the back of their throats. Though not as big a lump as Will's. The girl cringed with each sound of the cries, she begin to feel pressured by them. Her mind couldn't stop...stop thinking that if only...she was tasked...and you asked her to...but she didn't...

Biting hard into her lip, she nearly drew blood if not for the Luba.

The woman carefully walked over to the two siblings, passing Phobos now in his actual appearance wrinkled his nose. Resting a hand upon Caleb and your shoulder, Luba managed to settle the dowering atmosphere. And in the softest voice she could bring speaks.

"I am sorry for your lost."

Her words nearly brought your tears back, if not for Caleb who kept his hold on you. She kept going. "But," she removes her hand from your shoulder to your hand. "there is much that you must adhere to, Heart of Serenity."

The girls head and attention instantly returned, look to the woman then to you. Quizzed for a moment. Even yourself. With a raised brow. The question in your eyes, was spoken by someone else.

"What do you mean? I thought..."Will steps forward, instantly shutters back when your gaze realize her and the others where present. Her eyes instantly shift to the side for a moment and fallen shoulders. That sunk further when the sound of you standing and walking over to her and the others. She nearly crumbled at the sound of your voice.

And light touch on her shoulder. "Will..."

She flinched a bit. The weight of your eyes was more than she could bare, inhaling deeply lifts her head to meet your eyes. The moment she did, you could feel it...all she felt right now as if it just poured out. The sullen apology and seeking forgiveness. It was a clear as day, not just from her...but from the others. You saw it outlined around them...each of them with a fluorescent like glow of, light pink, light green, light teal, light red, and a light blue. Mummers come from them...that you weren't if you where just hearing things or...but saw it.

Felt it...trickle down the corner of your eyes. Luba observed. Her eyes more so on the heart shaped sapphire choker around your neck that glowed faintly...

"Miss Hitchens.."Will finally managed to find the words. "I'm..we're so sorry about what happened to Julien. We...we.."

Hay Lin takes your hand. "We'll get him back! We promise!" Her tear stain eyes like steel same as her words. Squeezed your hand further. "Whatever it takes, we'll do it!"

She looks to each of her friends who each held the same firm look at Hay Lin. Their words and convection was overflowing, Caleb saw it swell up in your eyes. "Th-Thank you."

"Arg, how repulsive." Phobos gags. Eyes and heads turn to him. "Promises? How can you even say such idotic things if you couldn't even do it the first time? For Guardians you sure put a lot of emphasis on making such claims. Why," he turns a nose up. "you couldn't even do that with me. For my own protection and now you promise to do the same? When you," a thin smirk spread on his lips. Turns to them. The grin instantly feel into a darker if not harder one. "couldn't even do that for a child. So, what makes you think you can actually-"

"Shut-up!" you charge and throw yourself at him. Tackling him straight to the ground, catching everyone off guard. Even Phobos for a moment, who managed to just barely keep you from crushing his throat with your clawing fingers.

Itching to coil themselves around that...damn neck of his. He pushed back upon your wrist, keeping them away. While Caleb and the Guardians frozen for a moment at the sight before them. You just...just tackled the man...who just...just threw his head back with a grin. That made Will and the girls skin crawl.

"Well, well," a deep chuckle rises smoothing from Phobos's throat. Sent heat flushing through every fiber of your body. "my..what fire and steel in those eyes of yours. It brings back so many, many memories." Whispers that closest to your ear that he could, sent a heated shiver down your spine.

Only made him laugh more. A laugh that confused the others. Especially what left Phobos's lips next. "Care to react them? Hmm? I know I am."

That was it! Ripping your wrist from him, finally, lunge your nails at this throat ready to tear it out. "Miss Hitchens! No!" Will shouts. "Cornelia!"

With simple gesture of the hand and thought in her mind, Cornelia muttering a quick apology before her vines wrap themselves around you. Restraining and pulling you back. The vines where thick, left you unable to even break free. No matter how much you tried. As you struggled to get free, Phobos stands dusting himself off calmly. Smiling at each defeated grunt from you.

Turns around flipping some of his hair over his shoulder. Walks to you, eyes slowly...very slowly slithered over you. Lingered his eyes over areas longer than others, no doubt brought up memories that made your eyes narrow like blades, while his eyes filled with enticement.

"That neck of yours..."he lifts a finger gently stroking it, sent a shiver through him. While you cringed. "..I wonder if you'll still make that very...very wonderful sound," he leans his lips close to your ear. His breath made it seem like his lips where kissing it. Smirking. "I do so enjoy. Remember?"

A thought you wished not have crossed your mind, shutting your eyes only made it worse. Cause it became more visible. Those...those moments..times..after all this time your body could still remember every touch, every single touch he did. Despite your screams that..where nothing more than absent echo. Become that over time. And that sound he spoke of...prickled your skin. A sound that in his twisted mind meant...it was just nothing but a biological response. But, to Phobos it was more.

More shame pressed upon your shoulders that curled under the memories. Exchanged between you and Phobos once his eyes meet and locked with yours. That smile curling on his lips, the same one that couldn't erase from your mind. No matter how much you tired. A smile that twisted into...

"Enough!" Caleb steps in, with a mighty shove on the prince. Glaring hard. "Get your hands off my sister! You have no right to touch her!"

Will and the others join him. Cornelia lets you go. While apologizing. She holds you close. Glaring just as hard if not more like Will at the prince. Each of them with their powers activated and ready to use.

This was just too rich if not pathetic. An annoyance really. Phobos groans with an eye roll, looking right pass them to you, his smirked returned and that gleam. That made your eyes cold. If not for your hold...then he'd be...

"Do you mind?" Phobos said sharply. "It's rude to interrupt."

Caleb didn't bend, he kept himself firm between the prince and you. Daring him to just slip up and make or say the wrong thing to give him the right reason to just, punch that face. Just one more...thing. One more. Will and the others had the same though too. Despite them needing him, it would be alright to just...

Again Phobos pays them no mind, his eyes only you. "I must say, it is rather a surprise you actually came here to Earth. I'm more surprised you found a way, honestly."

"Umm, okay.."Irama raises a brow, picking up the tone...a bit. "why is he talking like that? To Miss Hitchens?"

Her question, how adorable. Phobos couldn't help himself. Eyes still on you. "After all security I put, to make sure that, well," he shrugs his shoulders. "the veil was indeed powerful. You had everything at your finger tips and you just..honestly you fit the full definition of ungratefulness."

Again the question came from Irama now started to wrinkle on the brows of the others. "What are you talking about?" Caleb points. "Why are you talking to my sister like that? Huh?"

Phobos finally acknowledged them. "Because," the words came out so simple. "I have every right to. After all, she is my wife."

Everyone's eyes grew three times their size, turn to you. Caleb just...went numb. "W-What?" Will tries to comprehend what she and everyone just heard. Repeating what the prince said, over and over again.

Each time she did along with the others it just...it just..."You're lying!" Caleb said, clenching his fist. Turns around to you, eyes heavy. Voice cracked. "He's lying! He's lying, right?"

Your stone silence and hung eyes that burned with tears you couldn't lift to show Caleb or the others. Feel away from their grace. There was no need to read your mind, it was written clear as day.

"Come now," Phobos said. To you. "don't be shy now. Just a minute ago you filled wo much fire, I could barely contain myself."

Doing the best you could to ignore his words, as everything crumbled. First Julien and now...now this...then Caleb...and...it was more than...seeing this Will comes before you. Her eyes on you. She could feel it...from you. There was no point in asking...who Julien's father was, she had an idea how it happened. So did the others. What was she do now? How was she...

Basking in the moment before him, Phobos turns to Lube. Who sneered, but pushed it aside. There was no time such emotion or feelings. Clearing her throat she takes over and shifts the attention back to the matter at hand.

"Despite the rift," her words came out carefully. "we must discuss important matters." Pointing to the choker around your throat. "The Heart of Serenity."
