Minako couldn't help but get lost in thought as she walked on home. In the past day she had met a griffon and talked with a possible lost Sailor Senshi. She even spent the night with them. Just the thought of sleeping against that big, fluffy creature made her sigh in contentment. He was such a good boy. She'd make sure to buy him some treats before she saw him next time. Hopefully his wounds would be healed up.

For Sailor Paladin however, she still wasn't sure how to approach her about working together. She'd have to find a way to curb her flirting. Rei would roast her alive if she kept doing that. Perhaps she'd talk to the new Senshi about it. That wouldn't be something she would look forward to but it would be for the good of the group. Perhaps then she could learn more about Paladin's past.

She tapped her chin in thought. A trip to the spa could work. Perhaps shopping. No. Those were too rudimentary. A park picnic? Hmm, she may have to ask the others if they had any activities in mind that could help her. Paladin did seem to really pride herself in being cute yet she was pretty active. Makoto could offer some tips for this. Yeah, this could work.

Someone ran past her, bumping into her. The speed and ferocity of this person's speed span Minako around a bit, causing her to be a bit dizzy. She teetered around before righting herself. She turned to the running person, "What's their problem?"

She shook her head and started to walk past. That's when she stopped as two more people ran. They were shouting about something but she couldn't understand it due to how frantic they were. Minako blinked in confusion before groaning. People shouting and running meant there could only be one thing wrong. She quickly ducked into an alleyway and transformed into Sailor Venus. She had a job to do.

She raced forward. She needed to find the source of this panic quickly before someone got hurt. Thankfully everyone gave her a wide berth. It paid to be a superhero sometimes. She came to stop before a jewelry store. The area was damaged and cars were strewn about everywhere. It was a total disaster. It didn't help that there were several malicious looking people standing around, scaring away anyone that came close. They brandished swords or guns. They were definitely yakuza but she'd never heard of them doing stuff like this out in the open.

"Stop this at once," Minako shouted as she raced forward.

"Shit, it's one of the Sailor Senshi." A yakuza shouted as he pointed at her.

"Just shoot her, idiot." He pointed his gun and fired. A couple of other goons followed suit.

Being a Sailor Senshi had many advantages. She was far above a normal human in terms of combat ability and speed. As well, as the goons fired, the bullets simply bounced off of her. They were not made of magic or other such sorceries that she had to deal with so she was safe. She made it to them and jumped kicked one yakuza. He was sent flying. She cartwheeled backwards and landed on her feet. Before the other two could even hope to respond, she kicked one of them in the side of the head and punched the other. They were both out like a light. It happened in less then ten seconds. The other goons couldn't process what was happening so quickly so they stood there dumbly.

"I am Sailor Venus," she struck a pose, pointing at them, "And I've come to punish you."

"Stupid girl!" One of them brandished a katana and charged.

Minako easily side stepped him and punched him in the gut. He toppled over, clutching his wounded body and groaning in pain. Another tried to follow suit. She caught his arm and punched him in the face. He was knocked off his feet and onto the ground.

"What's this about?" Out stepped none other than Vauquelin. The armored mage stared at her in surprise for a couple of seconds before smirking. He spread out his arms, "Oh? The little girl is back for another battle, eh? Fine, but you've chosen a terribly inconvenient moment for me. Why don't you be a good little girl and-"

"Crescent Beam!" Minako shouted as she fired a beam of magic right into Vauquelin's chest.

He let out a gasp of surprise and a little pain as he was pushed back a few feet. He kept himself upright and patted his metal armor, "I thank my lineage for our armor or else you'd have won just then. Of course, now you know you've got to do a lot more than that to take me down, little girl."

"I won't back down," Minako decried, "I've come to stop you and your evil ways."

"You sound like those damnable paladins," Vauquelin narrowed his eyes, "Always going about how they need to protect the innocent and other self-righteous views. As though they were saints. Little girl, the strong take what they want and the weak survive by meeking out the scraps that are left behind. That is the way of the world. The sooner you 'heroes' understand that, the less conflict there would be."

"You're wrong," Minako replied firmly, "There is far more good in the world then evil. Evil only triumphs when the strong refuse to use their gifts for others. True strength is using what you have to aid the rest and not yourself like a selfish barbarian."

"Barbarian?" Vauquelin's left eye twitched. "Barbarian?" His voice raised and electricity formed around his right gauntlet, "You Orientals know nothing of the true meaning. How can you speak to me in such a way? A young, pathetic magus like you? I shall teach you proper manners or kill you trying." With that said, he moved his gauntlet and fired a large bolt of electricity.

Rei huffed as she walked alongside Makoto. Amongst the group, the pair didn't hang out as much together as they did with the others. Of course they were still friends, but they had a lot of differences. One of which was frustrating the shrine maiden, "That wasn't very fair."

"Oh come on," Makoto chuckled, "I beat you fair and square. You don't have to be such a sore loser."

"I am not a sore loser," Rei gave her the stink eye.

Makoto stuck out her tongue playfully, "So you say but I'm not the one who challenged my friend to a quick game."

"I said I could beat you in any game," Rei held up a finger, "I didn't know you'd pick one of those fighting games."

"And it's not my fault you suck at them," Makoto smirked and elbowed her friend, "But hey, how about I teach you how to get good later. You know, when you aren't doing your shrine stuff."

Rei hummed softly as she thought it over. She sighed, "Maybe but only because I want to kick your butt in them and show you who's your better."

Makoto gave her a challenging smile and held up a fist, "Bah, I'm the number one gamer in our group. You aren't going to ever beat me in one but I'd love to see you try."

Rei couldn't help but smile at her friend's enthusiasm. That smile left her face as she heard screams nearby, "What was that?"

"Don't know," Makoto's frown deepened when she heard gunfire, "But I'm not waiting to find out. Ready to kick some bad guy butt?"

"A crude way of saying it but yes," Rei nodded. As a Sailor Senshi, it was their duty to protect the people of this city. They just hoped they got there in time in order to save whoever was in danger.

Minako jumped forward, dodging another bolt of electricity. She really had to thank Makoto for training with her. Otherwise, she wasn't sure she'd be able to dodge his electric attacks so easily as she was doing right now. Even so he was getting closer. They both could tell.

"You've got good reflexes, girl." Vauquelin huffed, glaring at her. "Of course, you can't keep it up forever. I am the great Vauquelin. You are nothing when compared to me."

"You just don't know when to shut up," Minako huffed, "You're more annoying than a cat whining."

Vauquelin furrowed his brow, "I fail to see how that is relevant, but whatever. I shall end you here and now." In one hand he summoned fire. The other frosted over as ice started to form around it.

Minako readied herself for what was happening next. The villain used his fire to send a ball of flame her way. She dodged and he sent another one. She dodged two more by twirling around them. As she twirled, she readied another attack. "Crescent Beam."

The attack struck his left pauldron. He grunted and growled but kept his place as he only took a step back. She didn't have enough time to put enough energy behind it to get through his armor. He upped the ante by spewing a stream of fire at her. She had to run as he swept the area. She almost made it to an alley before he cut it off and spewed it right in front of her. She jumped back to avoid it.

Unfortunately, he was planning on that. While he had surprised her, he used his other hand to coat the area behind her with a sheet of ice. As Minako fell on top of it, she slid backwards and landed on her butt. Letting out an 'ow', she slid a bit more before she realized she was down and vulnerable. She looked up and gasped. Vauquelin and jumped forward and intended to slam his metal fist into her body. She rolled out of the way as his fist collided with the ice covered ground, breaking it apart. She quickly got to her feet and glared at him.

He smiled, "Well, well. Sailor Venus was it? You certainly are a slippery worm. Thankfully I know how to catch insects like you." He moved forward to punch her.

Minako just grinned and gave him a wink. In a split second a magical sword appeared in her grip and she used it to block his fist. He pulled back as she held her sword at the ready, "I'm not just a pretty face, you know."

"A swordswoman?" Vauquelin frowned, "I've dealt with your like before." He surged forward with a blade of ice and struck. She parried the blow and did so with the next. He grinned, "A weak woman like you can't hope to-"

Minako was a flexible girl. So her next attack was quite easy. She pulled back a bit and struck her leg up, kicking him in the lower jaw.

Vauquelin groaned in pain as he pulled back, massaging his jaw. "You are full of annoying surprises."

"Boss," one of the yakuza called out. "We've got the loot."

"And I really don't have time to deal with surprises right now," he pulled out a small orb. "Something I kept to myself for a rainy day. Seems like your time is up." He threw it on the ground.

Instantly, a creature formed out of the released magical energy. It's shape was that of a large, gray wolf. Its size wasn't to be trifled with. It was easily thrice her size. The creature growled, bearing its fangs that could carve through a human with ease.

Vauquelin laughed, "I collected a few magical beasts on my travels. They are hard to find and harder to capture but they are worth it in the end. Now my beastie, kill this girl." He turned and ran.

Minako stared at the giant monster and sighed, "Great. Just my luck."

The wolf howled and charged her. She was far too close to do anything then time a roll forward. She was missed by his jaws by only a foot's length and rolled under the beast. She quickly stood up and dispelled her sword. It wouldn't do her a ton right now. This creature was one based on magic. Perhaps it would be harmed by light magic.

She pulled back her hands and in them formed a rotating magical heart. She glared at the monster as it readied to charged at her, "Rolling Heart Vibration!" With that said, she flung it right at its snout.

Whether the creature wasn't clever or just curious, it stood there so the attack hit dead on to its muzzle. It whined as its head was thrown back before quickly righting itself and snarling. It took in a deep breath and let out a shrieking howl. The wind from the action sent Minako flying into a building and crashing through the wall. She groaned as she tried to stand up.

"I guess this wolf has more 'huff' then I thought," she muttered before gasping. The giant wolf was almost upon her. It howled in delight as it jumped, bearing its claws and teeth as it readied to lay into her. She didn't have time to react or conjure an attack.

"Heeya!" Makoto, Sailor Jupiter's, foot collided with the wolf's head. The wolf whined in pain as it was sent flying to the side. She landed on her feet and smiled down at Sailor Venus, "Well, seems like you need some help with a stray."

Minako smiled as Makoto grabbed her hand and helped her to her feet, "Thanks. I thought I was dog food for a moment."

"Not on my watch," Makoto gestured with her thumb to her chest. "Me and Rei got here as quickly as we could?"

"Rei?" Minako looked around but couldn't see her other friend.

The giant wolf got its bearings again and growled, ready to attack. Before it could, a voice rang out:

"Mars Snake Fire!"

A snake made of fire struck out at the wolf, catching its tail in the attack. The monster yelped and look at its tail in panic. It was burning and it desperately tried to put it out, smacking it around or trying to bite it and running in circles.

Rei ran up to them in her Sailor Mars outfit. She smiled at them, "We got here just in time. I think the three of us can take this monster."

"Oh I know we can take it down," Makoto gave her a cocky grin.

The wolf sucked in a breath and howled. The Sailor Senshi braced for the attack. They did their best to bear it, but both Sailor Venus and Sailor Mars were pushed back by the strength of it. Sailor Jupiter held her own, keeping her arms crossed in front of her body. The giant wolf didn't give them a moment of respite once it stopped as it sprung forward, mouth wide open. Makoto didn't have any time to dodged as it closed on her.

Thankfully, she was no ordinary girl. As the jaws closed in on the Senshi, she grabbed each one with a hand. Makoto was a strong girl before becoming a Sailor Senshi so adding to her strength gave her access to a number of feats. One such was being able to keep a giant wolf's mouth open. She grunted as the wolf kept trying to close it shut around her. She was not going to be pup chow. She pulled back and closed the jaws, surprising the beast. Then, using her enhanced strength, she threw it over herself. The beast flew a number of yards and landed on its back.

Makoto rolled her shoulders as she wasn't expecting to throw that much around so soon. She gave a come hither motion to the monster, "Alright big boy. Come get some."

It growled and took a step forward. The three Sailor Senshi got back together and stood their ground, staring the monster down. They had faced plenty of monsters before. They would not back down while this monster was about and could harm innocent people. However they needn't worry.

The next second, someone burst out from the alleyway. Minako's eyes widened as she saw Sailor Paladin give out a mighty warcry and stabbed the giant wolf in one of its hind ankles. The beast gave a cry of pain as it pulled away. Paladin readied herself as, even with an injured paw, it spun around quickly. She used her lance to knock away the giant jaw. It kept snapping at her and she kept smacking it away. Paladin jumped around the wolf easily due to her small size, but Minako didn't want to chance letting a fellow Senshi get hurt.

Minako summoned her Chain Sword in her hand, "I've got an idea. I'll trap the beast and you hit it with a strong attack."

"I think that will work," Rei said. Makoto just nodded.

Minako readied her Chain Sword and then threw it the moment the beast snapped its jaws closed. It blinked in confusion before struggling, trying to free itself from the binding. "Alright, do it."

"Mars Flame Sniper!" Rei held out her hand and out from it blew a ball of flame. It rapidly expanded into a large bow and arrow made of flames. She pulled back the flaming string and let loose. The fiery arrow struck the beast, setting it ablaze.

Makoto focused on herself and closed her eyes. She crossed her arms and an antenna sprung from her tiara, "Supreme Thunder!" Bountiful amounts of lightning sprung forth around her and then were thrown at the beast, sparking and shocking it alongside Rei's blazing inferno.

"Venus Love Me Chain!" With that said, bountiful amounts of light magic went through her weapon and added that last death toll for the beast. It could not cry out in pain as its mouth was shut but it burst into magical particles, signifying it was gone.

"Whoa!" Sailor Paladin cried out, "That was so…. Epic!" She cheered and jumped in place, whooping out in victory. She turned and shouted, "Nice one, cuties!"

"I'd say you were pretty brave too," Makoto called out. The girls jogged to each other, "Say, are you Sailor Paladin?"

"Yep, that's me." The strange Senshi nodded, "Glad to see some great warriors in this strange place. Was a bit surprised the beast blew up like that but with all those attacks, it didn't stand a chance."

"Well we're very good at our job," Rei said, "Sailor Venus, at your service." She held out a hand and Sailor Paladin shook it.

"Sailor Jupiter," a handshake was given.

"And we've met once before but I'm Sailor Venus," she shook as well.

"Cute names," Sailor Paladin said, "So now that the monster is gone, you wanna come back to my place?"

"Can't," Sailor Venus, Minako, quickly shook her head. "I've got… some stuff to take care of." Like explaining to her parents about why she was gone and all that.

"We could meet up later," Makoto said, "We've got a couple of other Senshi who'd love to meet you."

"Then it's a date," Sailor Paladin smiled. "I'll meet you at…" She tapped her chin, "Hmmm."

"How about the mall where you first arrived?" Minako said.

"That'll work," Sailor Paladin said, "Mall… never heard that word before but eh. Nice place."

Rei quirked an eyebrow, "You've never heard of a mall before?"

"We didn't have any where…" Sailor Paladin put a hand over her mouth, "Oh, I'm not going to talk about it."

"Uh-huh," Rei suspiciously looked her over with her hands on her hips, "Well, we'll meet you there with the rest of the group. Later today work?"

"What time?" Makoto said.

"I'll stick around this afternoon," Sailor Paladin said, "I don't have any real plans for the day anyways. I did want to look around there too."

Rei nodded, "Then we'll meet you there."

Minako smiled. She had hoped they'd all get to hang out but doing it now? It was better than what she had hoped. Soon they'd all be together and kick this guy's butt.

Thank each and every one of you for reading this story. It means a lot to me. Astolfo is a pretty fun character and yes, I do agree he doesn't get a lot of spotlight especially in crossovers. Then again, most fate characters don't get much attention. If it's not a very select few from the og (Shirou, three love interests, Archer) then they don't get as much attention or usage in crossovers. So I'm happy to add some spice to servant choices. I hope to read your reviews and how you thought of this so far. Until next time, take care and stay safe.
