Continuation of the previous chap. This one is a filler so it's shorter than others.

They saw Ichigo once she woke up.

The changes in her physical body- her height, build, weight, her once strawberry blond hair was now a long raven's wing black and her eyes...they were nearly gold. Not warm amber like they had once been- but demonic-fucking-gold. And her emotional state once she learned that she was no longer human, tugged at each of their heart strings.

Probably because it was the honest to god first time that they'd ever seen her cry. The knowledge that she was no longer human, coupled with the knowledge that she would outlive everyone dear to her- her family, her friends, her comrades, even mini Merlin herself- was a heartachingly bitter pill to swallow.

The girl even went through a phase when she had tried, over and over again, to kill herself. Violently, and brutally, only to resurrect each and every time.

Meliodas could empathize with her pretty well given how he tended to outlive his own friends and loved ones due to his own long life span. Ban probably felt a sort of kinship to her too give the fact that his life was as eternal as her own seemed to be.

The only good thing to come out of no longer being human and outliving everyone, was the fact that her immortality would probably carry over to her offspring. It was just a theory that her friend Kisuke seemed to have. But the possibility of it seemed to give her enough hope to snap her out of her funk and accept herself and her changes just a little bit easier.

There was a stint of peace for a while where she nor anyone else seemed to need to fight at all. Not even to hunt down any of the 'Hollows' that they'd seen off and on in Merlin's memories.

But like all things, that ended.

Ichigo looked as if she were about fourteen when it happened.

It had been a nice quiet day. Peaceful. The sun had been out, there were no ominous looking dark clouds in the sky.

And Ichigo was spending time with her younger sisters- or at least that's what it looked like to them since the two kids looked nothing like the older girl. In fact, there was little to no actual resemblance between the three at all. But even so, she didn't seem to notice any differences in any of their appearances.

Nor did she seem to notice any lack of physical characteristics that were like her father's either.

Meliodas supposed that she was so used to ignoring the glaringly obvious differences between them all because to her; family was family. And having any actual blood between them only meant so much to her.

She'd been taking the two younger girls out somewhere to do some shopping. Mini Merlin and another two people- a couple of guys- whom happened to be good friends of hers, had all decided to tag along to help.

The small girl with light brown hair was holding one of her hands and smiling while the other sister, the dark haired one, held onto her other one. The two kids had been chattering away at their older sister excitedly while Ichigo listened to them intently. Occasionally adding her own opinions to the conversation while her friends watched her and her sisters indulgently.

The domestic scene was shockingly cute to Meliodas and the other Sin's. Mostly because they couldn't seem to wrap their minds around someone so powerful being so- so...fricking cute? No that wasn't the right word.

Maternal was the word that he was looking for.

Though the girl was the kids older sister, she seemed much more like their mother. Their bond simply seemed to run deeper than a normal sibling's would. But then again, they'd seen her do some pretty interesting stuff for her sisters up till this point.

Including destroying the gates of what looked like Hell itself so that she could save one of them after she had been kidnapped.

Up until they'd seen that particular memory, they hadn't really been able to recall that she even had siblings in the first place. The little bit of information had simply slipped each of their minds. Along with the fact that she was someone who was willing to face down the very sinners of Hell for her siblings sake.

Not to mention the demons and monsters that had been there too.

"Ichigo! Can we go by the karaoke place? Please!" The girl with the light brown hair asked as she tugged on her older sister's arm a little bit to get her attention.

"Huh? I thought that you wanted to do some shopping?"

"Well, I do. But why can't we do both? I mean, we're right here. And... I kind of really want to hear you sing like you used to before momma died."

"Huh?"

"Yeah! Let's do it!" The other girl said as she hopped up and down in place a little bit. Her expression lighting up like nothing that they'd ever seen before. "I miss hearing you sing too!"

"Really?" Ichigo asked in a slightly skeptical tone as she eyed the two younger girls beaming at her. "The last time I tried to sing for you two, Karin told me that I couldn't carry a tune in a bucket."

"She said what?!" The girl named Yuzu shrieked in outrage and then glared at her sister.

"To be fair, Yuzu, Ichigo was sick at the time and her voice was scratchy." The girl, Karin said nervously as she released Ichigo's arm and took a step back away from them in vague alarm.

"That's no excuse Karin! You don't say mean things like that to Ichigo!"

"Yeah okay." The girl said in an effort to make her sister calm down. Yuzu merely snarled at her and then turned back to Ichigo and said,

"Well despite some people's opinions, I think that you have a pretty voice. So I want to hear you sing."

Sighing but not seeming to have the heart to deny the request, Ichigo waved to her friends and told them that they were going to go sing somewhere.
