Mandatory counselling

A guest asked for a oneshot of a 16 year old Neal constantly fighting with Charming. Snow decides they need some father/son therapy so she forces them to see Archie together.

JRocks: that has been written before.

SeaweedBrain: I'm afraid both of those have been covered extensively.

Guys, guys! I REACHED TEN THOUSAND REVIEWS! Thank you so much to everyone who has ever reviewed this story, particularly those who take the time to review every chapter. It means so much to me 3.

"Heck no!" Neal bellowed, shoving his hands deep into his hoodie pockets. "I can't stand to be in the same room as him for one minute, let alone one hour. No way, mom. I'm not doing it." Neal demanded. Charming sighed and rubbed his temple.

"Maybe it's not the greatest idea, Snow, but thanks for trying." Charming said more diplomatically. Neal rolled his eyes.

"What he really means is he can't stand me either…"

"Would you stop saying stuff like that?" Charming snapped. "Of course that's not what I meant. What I meant was…"

"That is totally what you meant…"

"ENOUGH!" Snow screeched. She was so loud that both Charming and Neal stopped in shock and stared, wide-eyed, at her. Snow never raised her voice. None of them really did. "I'm sick and tired of all this fighting! You two love each other, even if you've forgotten that in the last few months. You are father and son. You need each other. This fighting has to stop, and it has to stop now. That's why I've signed you up for these sessions with Archie. Please, take them. I can't stand living with the pair of you at each other's throats all the time. It's not right." Snow pleaded. Charming and Neal felt guilty. They'd been so wrapped up in their own anger and frustration with each other, neither had ever really stopped to think on the effect it was having on Snow.

"Ok." Charming said, being the first to agree. "If it will make you happy, I'll agree to go." Charming said, smiling at her. Snow now turned her pleading eyes to her not-so-little boy. He took a moment, but then he caved.

"Fine." He sighed. "Just for you, mom." He added moodily. Snow gave a small smile. It was a start.
