Maleficent's boy
Penny asked for a oneshot of…read and see.
Combined with a guest request for a villain to say "Sleep well, Charmings."
I suspect you requested a second chapter. One request at a time please.
He hadn't spoken to either of them since their rage overcame them. Not since they thought he would just never find out they were the ones who sent armed men to try and murder Snow. Of course he found out. Even before he got proof, he knew they were to blame. He cut ties with them both then and there. He wasn't sad to find out that James had died being an idiot and trying to fight a dragon, not really. He didn't attend the funeral. Then the curse happened, and Charming was so focused on Snow and the baby that he didn't ever spare a thought for his mother. Then she made herself known to him after Emma came back and broke the curse. Of course, Charming still wanted nothing to do with her. James' death had changed nothing.
"I made myself clear the last time we spoke." Charming snarled at her. "I have disowned you. You are to stay away from me and all of my family. If I find out you have tried to harm Snow again, mother or no mother, I will come down on you." Charming warned her. Leave us alone." Maleficent sighed.
"I'm truly sorry it has to come down to this." Maleficent said. "Sleep well, Charmings." Before Charming could ask what she meant, his world went black.
When Charming woke up, he felt cold, damp, ground beneath him.
"Dad?" He heard someone ask quietly. "Dad?" Hearing Emma woke Charming up quicker. He opened his eyes and shook his head. He could see the wet wooden floor beneath him. He scrambled to his feet to find Emma cradling Neal not too far from him. Beside her, looking equally apprehensive, was Henry. Charming looked ahead of them all. There stood his mother, looking pleased as punch. Charming quickly got in front of his family, shielding them from her. Maleficent laughed.
"David, darling, why would I hurt my own family?" She quizzed him. "Do behave yourself…"
"Where's Snow?" He demanded. Maleficent didn't answer. "Mother, I am warning you…" Maleficent sighed.
"I haven't harmed a hair on her head. Despite my better judgement, she's fine. You told me not to hurt her, I respected your wishes. But I have gone too long without either of my sons by my side. We were going to be a family one way or another.
"Wait, she's your mother?" Emma croaked. "What?!"
"Hush now, dear, the grownups are talking." Maleficent said patronisingly. Emma's eyebrows just about hit the roof.
"The what now?" She asked, angrily. "I am just as old as my dad." Maleficent smirked. Charming sighed.
"In a physical sense, I suppose we are. But not in a numeric sense. I'm well over two hundred years old. Your mother knows. We've never exactly had the chance to explain to you. Being of dragon blood, I aged at a much slower rate. So would you have if you'd been raised in the Enchanted Forest. Living in the land with no magic took the ability away from you. I had Blue take away my dragon side after I married your mother so I would age alongside her." Charming explained. Emma blinked rapidly. This was a lot to process.
"Something I'm still bitterly disappointed in you for, I'll admit." Maleficent sighed. "She was never good enough for my boy. Then you went and stripped yourself of your dragon heritage like it was some form of shame to you. But yes, Emma, to me, thirty is but the age of a child. Either way, we're all here now. We can live together in peace, without the interfering princess…"
"Like Hell we can. You're going to release me and my family and release us now." Charming insisted. "Have you not listened to me? I want nothing to do with you. I won't let you harm my family." Charming told her, keeping them all back. "Ever." Maleficent smirked.
"Give it time, you'll come round. You'll just have to, because you aren't leaving." Maleficent told him. "Best get comfortable, son. Now be careful with that temper of yours. Snow might be fine for now, but who knows how that might change?" She threatened. Charming's hands balled into fists, but he knew better than to lose his temper now. He knew Snow's life could very well be in danger if he did. He had to be smart about this. If he was careful, he could his family out of here just fine and get back to Snow. He just had to keep everyone safe until he could form a plan.
