iZombie True Ending

Everyone is happy. A cure has been found and is being announced to the world. Soon the zombie issue will be solved...

Pentagon

Those who had been turned are missing. Having been discovered, they were interrogated and then executed.

Now...

"Mr. President." The secretary of defense holds him a folder. "This is it. The zombies turned men, and women, at the highest level of our military and government. This is an act of war. We must strike now while we can. Before they try this, or something worse, again."

He opens the folder and sees the plan. "Carpet bombing? MOABs? Why not just drop one nuke?"

"It is Seattle, Mr. President. A major port city. We want to be able to rebuild after wiping out the zombie threat."

A woman walks in while still speaking on her phone. "Mr. President, we have received word that they have found a cure. They can turn the zombies back in to people."

The secretary of defense scowls at her. "A delay tactic. They must know we found out what they did and are trying to stop us from retaliating. Sir, this may be our only chance to strike before they can try and infect more."

"They aren't all zombie. There are still people in Seattle. The walled off area." The president closes the folder. "May God forgive us all."

Seattle

After the morgue bombing, and escaping, Liv is on the run with Major and the others to the nearest wall. "This is it. We escape, and, and,"

"No." Peyton turns to Liv. "You and Major can escape. We'll stay behind. We aren't zombies. We'll be fine."

"Are you sure? Peyton, I, you're my best,"

Over head, a jet flies over Seattle cutting Liv off.

Everyone looks up at it. "What do you think it is doing? Spying on us?"

Major shakes his head. "No, they would use drones for that. It must be for something else."

That something else is soon answered when something drops from below the jet.

Major recognizes it first. "They're bombing the city? We announce there is a cure and now they strike? It doesn't make any sense."

"We have to get underground!" Peyton stays calm as she grabs Liv by the wrist. "A basement, any basement, might be all we can use to,"

The MOAB goes off flattening everything in a quarter mile radius. Behind the first jet, two more fly over dropping more MOABs. Followed by four, followed by eight.

The destruction of Seattle is horrific but deemed needed. No one wanted the zombies to spread. To infect. To become an even bigger threat than they already were.

Soon after, the military moves in. Carefully picking through the ruins of former Seattle. Making sure that any bodies found are burnt to ash. Zombie or human, it didn't matter. No risk will be taken when dealing with the remains of those found.

A/N easily amused. I mean, they turned a murder of the week show into Walking Dead Zombie Nation. So why the happy go lucky ending? Screw that. I want an ending that fits the show's weirdness.
