Thursday, what a slow day, I am on the clubroom, relaxing and reading a book. Yukinoshita is brewing tea for the three of us, and Yuigahama is texting someone, probably Miura or Ebina. I love peaceful days like this.

"Senpai! Big problem!" I guess the peace ends here. Yuigahama motioned for Isshiki to sit down, which she did, and starts explaining the problem. "Well, we agreed that we're performing separate performances right? Well, we still don't have any idea for the play, and its next week!" She said with panic. I don't really have any idea what to do since I am not a creative person, but I think Yuigahama might know something.

"Yuigahama, do you have any ideas?" I asked the pinkette. She scratched her head and titled it, laughing nervously.

"I don't have any ideas right now. Yukinon, do you have anything in mind?" Yuigahama directed the attention to Yukinoshita. Yukinoshita just shrugged her shoulders and said she doesn't have any ideas either.

"I think I know someone in mind."

"Who is it, Senpai?"

"Hiratsuka-sensei."

"So, let me get this straight. You guys still don't have any ideas about what to do for the Christmas Event, and came here to ask for ideas." She grabbed a pen then twirled it, then hummed to show that she's thinking. "Honestly, I myself don't have any ideas." Her face then brightened up. Hiratsuka-sensei then started digging through her bag to find something. When she found it, her face looked relieved and showed us what it is.

Four tickets, to DestinyLand.

"I won these tickets on a wedding, twice." She rambled. "Then they said that I could go there two times, twice!" Sensei then laughed at her misfortune. Someone take her already, or I am sure that she'll snag me the moment I get into college.

"Well Hiratsuka-sensei, what will we do with that?" Yukinoshita asked.

"You can go to DestinyLand to see and understand what you guys can do with Christmas parties." Sensei answered.

"I don't want to go, there's too many people this time of the year." Came Yukinoshita's reply. I do agree with her, since Christmas is popular to the masses, many people especially kids, would want to go to DestinyLand and enjoy themselves.

"But Yukinon, they might have limited edition Pan-san stuff that you can only buy on Christmas!" Yuigahama used her brain for the first time to persuade Yukinoshita. Personally, I don't see a problem going other than the crowd, and I might find Komachi a good present if I searched there.

"I need to find something for Komachi, since she likes Pan-san too." I doubled down. Yukinoshita then looked totally ready to go.

"There's just one problem."

"What is it Yukinoshita?"

"I have a year pass."

"Don't worry about that Yukino-senpai! I know someone I could invite!" Yuigahama then asked who it is, but Isshiki said it was a secret.

That brings us to Saturday, which is currently today, also the day we agreed to visit DestinyLand. When I reached the station, I saw Yukinoshita, Yuigahama and Isshiki.

With Hayama, Miura, Tobe, Ebina, and Saki? What is she doing here?

"What are they doing here?" I asked Isshiki, who just posed in a cutesy manner and replied:

"Tee-hee!"

"So, what ride should we go first?" Tobe excitedly asked. I think he doesn't know the reason we came here.

"Let's go there Senpai!" Isshiki pointed to a children's ride.

"Let's split up, we'll look for ideas over there." I point out to the souvenir store, designed with Christmas ornaments and lights. Isshiki came to me and asked why should we split up. "Go and bother Hayama, I'm going to look for Komachi's gift." I whispered to her.

"Sure! See you later Senpai!" Isshiki said before dragging Hayama and his clique. Yukinoshita glared at me and asked what did I whisper to Isshiki.

"I said that I'm looking for Komachi's gift." I answered, hopefully she would buy what I said. "So, let's go?" I asked the two. They nodded and we walked towards the souvenir shop.

"Hachiman, wait!"

"Saki-chan? Aren't you with Hina-chan?" Yuigahama asked. Why didn't Kawasaki join them? Maybe she's out of place there.

"Can I come with you guys? I want to look for souvenirs to give to my siblings." So that's why she didn't come with them, Kawasaki is really spoiling her siblings.

"Sure!" Yuigahama exclaimed. We continued to walk, with Yuigahama talking to Kawasaki about what she was looking for.

"Hikigaya-kun, what gift would you give Komachi-san?" Yukinoshita asked.

"I'm thinking of a plushy." When we reached the shop, Yuigahama dragged Kawasaki to the farthest corner of the store. Yukinoshita instantly hovered to the Pan-san section, and examined the plushies. I walked towards another shelf, where Pan-san pillows are. Maybe Komachi would like this.

"Hikki! Take a picture!" Yuigahama called out. She then pointed to Kawasaki wearing a dog ears headband, which strangely looks cute at her. I quickly snapped a photo and Kawasaki turned red in embarrassment. "Yukinon!" Yuigaham then ran off to Yukinoshita, who is still very much concentrating on the plushies.

"Yuigahama-san, what is it?" Yuigahama then exclaims cutely, while putting a cat ear headband on Yukinoshita. "Hikki, quick!" I did what I was told, snapping a picture of the two.

"Yukinoshita, have you found the best plush to buy?" I jokingly asked. She glared at me and told me to shut up.

"Hachiman, can you help me find a gift for Keika? I have found things for Aki, Kouki, and Taishi, but I haven't found a suitable gift for Keika."

"Okay." Kawasaki then dragged me to the shirts section. Kawasaki then pointed to various shirts with Christmas themed designs, and in the end, she settled in buying a red shirt with a Pan-san print. "Thank you for helping me, Hachiman."

"No problem Saki." We walked towards Yuigahama and Yukinoshita, who is currently holding a lot of Pan-san plushies.

"I guess you have found what you wanted to buy then?" I teased.

"Shut up, Hikihaven'tfoundagiftyet-kun." She's right, I haven't even found a gift for Komachi. I just grabbed a random plushy from the shelf, hoping that Komachi would like it. WE paid for the gifts, then met up with Isshiki on the center of the park.

"Senpai! Have you found any ideas yet?" Isshiki asked. I answered that I have some ideas for design that could be helpful for the overall look of the place. "Let's go and ride that!" Isshiki pointed to the Pan-san bamboo fight ride.

Since the ride allows for three passengers at most, it was me, Yuigahama and Yukinoshita who shared a ride.

"Wow isn't that cool, Hikki?" Yuigahama asked me. I wanted to answer but Yukinoshita told us to shut up. How invested is she in this to concentrate this much? After the bamboo ride, we were walking towards another ride, but Kawasaki and I got separated.

"Go on and ride the Ferris Wheel, we'll catch up with you later." I shouted to them. As the line moved, Kawasaki and I talked about her siblings.

"Is your arm feeling better?" She then points to my arm.

"The doctors said it would take at least two weeks to fully heal, but its feeling better. I hope next week I can remove the cast, it's hard to do normal things."

"By normal, you mean playing with your Vita-chan then?" Kawasaki teased. We reached the front, and the staff pushed the safety bar to lock us in place.

"Enjoy the ride!" The staff enthusiastically said. As the ride went on, we were treated to various sights.

"That looks nice, isn't it Hachiman?"

"Yeah."

"Hey Hachiman."

"Hachiman here."

"I like you."

I didn't hear what she was saying as the ride dropped down, the wind made it hard to hear any words. The ride ended and we stopped by a bench.

"Hey Kawasaki, what were you saying before we dropped?" I asked, but I got no answer as she hid her face and muttered incomprehensible words. We met up with Isshiki and others, as they finished riding the Ferris Wheel. I noticed Miura being distant with her clique, maybe something happened or is she mad that Isshiki got Hayama to ride with him?

As the plaza filled up with people, I noticed Hayama and Isshiki missing. Miura noticed as well but she wasn't able to say anything as Tobe dragged her towards Ebina. Right then, the place dimmed.

"Look, the fireworks are starting!" Yuigahama exclaimed. As the light show started, tons of sparks filled the night sky, decorating the night with flowers made of light. I glanced to where I'm facing and saw Isshiki.

Talking and acting cutesy to Hayama. When I observed Hayama's face and actions, I asked myself.

Is she confessing to him?

My question was answered when I saw Isshiki running towards us, leaving a sad Hayama in her wake. Tobe tried calling her, but she just continued to run. The light show ended, but I didn't see the last part since my mind raced towards what Isshiki has done.

When the fireworks ended, we decided that it was time to go home. Yuigahama went ahead with Yukinoshita. Hayama, Ebina, and Tobe left. Miura went on a separate direction, stating that she has something to do. I was left with Kawasaki, since we live near each other.

"Hachiman, can we stop by a convenience store? I'm getting thirsty." Kawasaki said after we exited the station. We walked towards the nearest convenience store, and grabbed some drinks. Kawasaki grabbed a sports drink, while I had Maxx.

Nothing could beat the drink of the gods.

We left the store and went back to our way. When we reached the park, Kawasaki saw Miura. "Wait, isn't that Miura?" Kawasaki pointed out. What could she be doing here. She looked distressed, did something happen earlier?

"Let's leave her alone. I think she's going to snap at us if we asked her." I replied to Kawasaki.

"But I think she needs help Hachiman. Maybe she needs someone to talk to." Kawasaki argued. Honestly, I don't want to deal with Miura since she's annoying, but if Kawasaki wants to help her, then who am I to stop her?

"Sure. Let's go talk to her." I relented. We walked to the bench Miura is sitting. When we got closer, we saw Miura crying. She noticed us, and tried to fix herself.

"What are you doing here?!" She said with irritation.

"We're here to listen, you look like you need someone to talk to." Kawasaki answered. Miura then got a bit angry and fired back.

"Well, I don't need it, go somewhere else!" Kawasaki sighed but she didn't listen.

"Listen to me Miura, if you need help, don't hesitate to ask. Come on Hachiman, let's go." As Kawasaki pulled me, she whispered in my ears. "Stay here and try to talk to her, then try to take her to grab a drink, I'll be waiting over there." She pointed towards the hedge on the exit of the park. "Good luck, Hachiman." Kawasaki let go of me as she continued to walk. I went back to where Miura is and she is still crying.

"Miura." I called out to the crying girl. She didn't acknowledge what I said. So I called her name again. "Miura."

"Go away." It looks like she doesn't want to talk to someone right now, maybe her mind is still a mess and she needs to clear it. I should just respect her wishes and leave her alone for now.

"Okay." I stood up and started walking away. As my feet continued to walk, I took another glance at her. I just can't let her cry there, when I feel like I can do something to help her.

Remember Hikigaya-kun, if you want something genuine, you better act on it. Words of Kawasaki's father echoed to my mind again.

For third time, I am walking towards Miura.

"Look Miura, I know you don't want to talk to anybody right now, I get that. But you can at least share it to someone who will listen." I said to her. She just continued crying, but she didn't make me go away this time.

"I... Think you're right, I think I need someone who'll listen for now." Miura finally accepted my proposition. Silence then enveloped the area as I didn't know what to say to her.

"Did something happen earlier?" I asked her. She was startled and tried to get angry, but she stopped and just went back to crying. "Let me guess, you did something when you guys we were separated?"

"Guess more." She said as she sniffed. If she wanted me to guess more, then I think something really did happen back then to make her cry. Did Hayama say something to her?

Don't tell me…

"You confessed to him?" I guessed. Her head was hung but I saw it rise for a bit, making it look like she nodded in agreement to my answer. "So you really did confess to him." I said as I took a sip of Maxx. "What made you do it?"

"Well, it was spur of the moment but, when we were riding the Ferris Wheel *sniff* we reached the top and everything looked perfect, so I said to myself that it was now or never. I said I liked him, and asked him out. He looked at me with a look that I haven't seen before, before calming down and rejecting me." So Miura got caught in the moment. But still, Hayama realized that it will change the dynamics of their clique if something happened to them. I guess he got lucky since it was just him and Miura that was there, making him able to reject her without any backlash from their clique. And since Miura also values her clique, I think she will not reveal what happened back there to her friends. Hayama expects her not to, I think.

"Hayama's not that nice guy huh?" I suddenly remembered the conversation Hayama and I had earlier.

"I'm not the nice guy you thought I was."

"But still…" Miura continued to cry. After a few minutes, she calmed down and stopped.

"You want to grab a drink?" She nodded in agreement. The two of us walked towards the convenience store, but I haven't seen Kawasaki at the exit when we passed. Maybe she went home already? I better text her later when I get home.

We grabbed a drink and I walked Miura back to her house.

We continued to talk, if you consider her sharing things and me nodding or humming in response as talking. She shared that the pressure was building up on her, since by third year they'll be busy and won't have time for school. As we talked various topics, the conversation went towards what happened earlier.

"Well, you're not the only one Hayama rejected today." She became a bit angry.

"Don't tell me... Isshiki also confessed to Hayato?!" Her voice, still cracked, shouted.

"Yeah. Remember when you can't find the two of them before the fireworks started? Isshiki pulled him away from you guys."

"You knew but you didn't even tell us?" Why would I even tell you that? We're not that close in the first place. "You're right... We're not close." Did I say that out loud? "But still, you could've said something you know!?"

"Hey, I have no obligation to tell you anything, we're not friends." After my remark, we both got silent again. I didn't follow up as I left Miura to her thoughts.

"Then why don't we become friends?"

"Do you hear yourself woman?" I asked. I don't think we'll be getting along anytime soon woman. "I think I'll pass."

"Come on! What's stopping you from befriending a beautiful girl like me?" She asked. Well, I think I know the answer for that one.

"Your attitude, You're annoying as hell." She punched my left arm, mainly because she'd be punching cement if she punched my right.

"There's nothing wrong with it, you're just a shut in that's why." She answered back. "Still, I think we should be friends."

"I can't promise anything, but I will try my best to tolerate your presence more." I answered her. My response seem to satisfy her, as she was smiling and muttered something about us being friends.

"Thanks Hikio, you're not a bad guy as others say." Miura said as we reached her house.

"I wasn't a bad guy in the first place."

"Whatever…" Her face then turned serious. "Listen to me Hikio, if you told anyone about my address or the fact that you walked me home, I won't forgive you. Got it?" She glared to emphasize her point.

"I'm not interested in things like that in the first place." I answered.

"Good." She then smiled cutely and waved farewell. "See you on Monday Hikio!" as she ran towards her house.

It was already past 10 when I reached my house. Everyone is already sleeping, so I just went to the bathroom for a quick shower then went to bed.

You left me back there. I texted to Kawasaki. After a few seconds, I got a reply.

Sorry, I figured Miura won't talk if I was there, so I left. So, what did she say? The text said. I quickly typed a reply.

She was rejected by Hayama. She confessed when we were separated to them earlier.

I didn't think Hayama would do that. For all I know they're the "Perfect Couple" of Sobu.

I think he had reasons why. Hayama would not do thing without reason.

Let's leave it at that. Was the last text. Then another text came after a few minutes. Keika liked the shirt you picked, thanks again for helping me pick. I think Keika will like anything given to her, that kid is seriously kind-hearted.

Good to know. Let's talk about it in class. Good night. I sent to her. I closed my eyes to get some sleep.

Isshiki cornered me today, stating that there's something she wants to talk about. Is it related to the Christmas event? She dragged me to the school rooftop, then she sat on the bench.

"Senpai..." Isshiki spoke, downtrodden. "I confessed to Hayama-senpai." I knew it, it's about what happened last saturday.

"I knew it." Isshiki then uncharacteristically exclaimed "You did!?"

"Yeah, I saw you talking to him when the fireworks started."

"I felt that it was the perfect time to do it!" She stood up then walked to the railing. "Mou, it's your fault Senpai!"

How was it my fault?

"If I didn't hear what you said back in the Service Club, then I wouldn't look for something genuine myself!" So she heard it, like I predicted. That's why she looked shocked when I opened the door back then. "So Senpai..."

The wind blew, like in those romance movies where the female lead will do something.

"Please take responsibility."

"Don't play with my heartstrings like that, you sly fox." Seriously, that could've made me confess right then and there! I better keep my guard up around her more. "So will this affect your performance to lead the committee?"

"I will not let what happened get to me, there's many more chances to confess! I promise that it won't affect me Senpai." She exclaimed with excitement on her voice.

After she calmed down, I asked her about the status of the play.

"I had learned a lot when we came to DestinyLand! I will make sure it will be shown when you watch the play. So sit back and relax Senpai!"

What we saw in DestinyLand proved to be useful for the decorations and theme of our play, as the Christmas event proved to be a major success. Kaihin was able to do their part, while our school's play made the hearts of those who are watching swoon. Somehow, I managed to convince Tsurumi Rumi to be the star of our play. She was alone in the corner when I visited the community center and asked if she'd like to participate in our play. The play borrowed a lot of elements from the play we have watched on DestinyLand, right before the fireworks started.

With the Christmas Event cleared, The New Year came, Komachi invited the other member of Service Club to celebrate. When Komachi and I came home after, she asked what my wish is.

"I wish for this year to be great."

A/N: What's up guys! Here's the latest chapter of Misunderstood. Hope you guys enjoy!

Thoughts: Welp, here is that DestinyLand that I skipped. Kinda feel bad that Hachiman didn't hear what Saki said… or did he?

I found a method to play Wangan Midnight on PC, so I guess my free time is now going to be eaten up by that game. I might play some Initial D games too if I found a copy. If you're interested on running some arcade games on your pc, check out Teknoparrot!

Now on to some reviews!

deniall: Hmm… Let's see what happens on the next chapters then.

WinterWritting: I agree, Sumi is the best girl for Kazuya. Thanks and I'll make sure to keep up the good work!

MonsterOfLogic: I guess I'll have to add an extra chapter to it then. Don't worry, I am currently on the process of writing the extra chapter since the story is finished already.

Again, SEASON 3 HYPE! I am not watching any of the episodes so I can binge them when it ends.

Edited A/N: I fixed the bottom part as looking back to it, it was really messed up. (Stop writing when your brain is not functioning 100 percent! Take a rest and sleep!)

That's all folks! See you on the next chapter!
