Mona dont have to wonder long as soon after the front door opened. on the other side of that door was a laughing Tony with his hands full right behind him was her daughter with a smile that Mona had not seen since they had left Tony behind. Angela also had a few bags in her hands.
"Good morning. What's for breakfast?" Mona ask with a smile she was happy that Tony was back but she was also kidding about breakfast.
"Good morning Mona." Tony said as the kitchen door shut behind him. "Breakfast will be ready in about 15 minutes unless I start getting yelled at by my daughter for making her worry."
Mona looked at her daughter again and could tell something else was on her mind besides Tony "What's wrong?"
"I'm worried about Jonathan when Tony knocked no one seemed to be home (which she was glad about) and when Tony and I left to go to the store his was bed was still empty."
"Jonathan stayed at Hank and Sam's apartment last night when I left he was sound asleep. By the way he saw you kissing some guy in a tux last night so we stayed up talking about the past. I did not tell either of them that Tony was the guy in the tux that you were kissing. I smell bacon." As Mona and Angela had been talking both kept waiting for yelling to started. As it had not they decided to just go to the kitchen
"Mona you want to go tell the kids that breakfast is ready please?" asked Tony knowing he wasn't ready for Sam's reaction or for that fact Jonathan's.
Sam was the first one to get up. She not really slept well why was her dad not answering even the time she had called him and he'd been asleep he would he would answer she just try it again and no answer at all she was getting more worried just as she was about to try again Jonathan spoke.
"Good morning Sam. Thanks for letting me spend the night here last night."
"You're welcome. I guess we should go see... where is Grandma at?" Sam had just noticed Mona was gone and she felt like Mona was our grandmother even if her dad and Angela were not together anymore.
"I am right here." Mona smile for another reason she was happy to hear Sam call her grandma and the make-out session that she was sure was happening in the kitchen just made her smile more. "The new housekeeper (ha Mona he will never be new) said that breakfast is ready."
Jonathan and Sam looked at each other "New housekeeper?" both asked in shock that was fast the last one was just fired last night
"Yep from what I got this morning was that they (he) just knocked on the door." Mona said as she walked out the door she had to be ready for whatever happened. She was glad that Tony was back and judging from what was going on in the kitchen right now so is Angela.
Jonathan was the first to see them the guy was not in a tux now but Jonathan knew it was the same guy "Sam the guy from last night is still here I'm not ready for this."
"Neither am I but we have to face the fact..." Sam stopped in her tracks she thought she heard her dad's voice she had to be dreaming though, "that Angela has moved on."
Jonathan had stopped walking at the same time that Sam did. As with Sam he thought he heard Tony's voice followed by a his mom laughing but Tony was not here or so he thought. "I guess so let's get this over with."
"Ay-oh. Oh-Ay. You would think the kids would be in here for these wonderful pancakes. Guess I will just have to finish them myself."
Jonathan and Sam looked at each other now they both must be dreaming because they both heard Tony's voice. Hank just walk past them.
"Good morning Mona, Angela, and (Hank did a double-take because he thought he saw his father-in-law standing next to Angela) Tony how are you all..." Hank never got to finish this question because Sam and Jonathan came running through the door
"Dad what are you doing here?"
Not to be outdone by Jonathan's "Tony! Sam the guy in the tux was Tony. Both of them looked at Tony waiting for an answer to Sam's question.
"I heard Angela was looking for a housekeeper so I applied for the job." Tony said it was great to be back here.
