Copying
A guest asked for a oneshot of Emma saying "Mama, am I pretty?". I know you said an adult Emma, but I've done that kind of thing before.
I can't believe I'm less than 75 chapters away from reaching 3000! Please don't give up on this story yet guys. Keep the requests coming. We can make it!
Sorry for the disappearing act guys. It was my birthday week last week, on top of it being Christmas time and therefore busy at work, so that's left little time for writing, I'm afraid!
At four years old, Emma was going through a copying phase. Everything she saw the adults she looked up to do, she wanted to do. She was putting on a bubble beard and "shaving" it off like she saw daddy do. She was trying to put her hair up like she saw nana Gina do. She was running around with her auntie Red's cape on. Now, she'd got herself into her mommy's wardrobe. She clearly was her mother's daughter, a little bandit in the making. By the time Snow got into her bedroom to get changed for dinner, her whole wardrobe was scattered across the room, with a tiny girl trying to wriggle into her mommy's riding gear. A pearl necklace round her neck and a tiara lying squinty on her head.
"Well hello there." Snow said in such a tone that Emma looked up at her mother with her cutest smile. "Just what do you think you're doing with mommy's clothes, little miss?" Snow asked, bending down so she was eye level with her daughter.
"Mama, am I pretty?" Emma asked her mom seriously. Snow's heart melted for her little girl. Snow took Emma's hands in her own.
"Emma Ruth, you listen to mommy." Snow said gently. "You are pretty no matter what you're wearing. But more than that. You are smart. You are strong. You never give up. You're lots of things, Emma. You're perfect as you are. You don't need to be like anyone else to be my perfect little girl." Snow told her, brushing her nose against Emma's, making Emma smile. "Now come on. Can you help mommy sort out this mess? Then maybe, we might have some time to play before dinner." Snow offered her. Emma then happily helped her mommy tidy up the mess around the room. Snow smiled at her little princess, watching her tidy up. She had so many years ahead of her to find out exactly who Emma was. Snow was so excited to see who her little girl became.
