It seems she wants cake

AlexR asked for a oneshot of someone saying "enough with the sass".

Final call for Christmas themed oneshots! :)

Charming hated it when Snow was away for royal concerns. He missed his wife dearly. The only thing that now made the whole thing bearable for him was having Emma to keep him company. He didn't know how Snow coped without either of them.

Emma was getting a little older now. She was eighteen months old, and both her parents knew that the terrible twos were just around the corner. They were reminded by every tantrum Emma had over the smallest thing…but they couldn't deny she was cute when she was angry. Charming was reminded of this as he was playing with her whilst Snow was away. Emma was already working out that she had both her parents right where she wanted them, but especially her daddy. Although even he made sure Emma knew there were boundaries, as he knew how important that was. So when she tottered into the kitchen when he took his eyes off her for one second and saw what was cooling on the table, Charming winced. He knew he was in for a battle. Immediately upon seeing the chocolate cake, Emma reached both her hands up for the table and cried out, letting her daddy know she wanted some.

"No no princess. We need to eat dinner first. Then maybe we can have a little slice of cake." Charming told her gently, trying to lead her out of the room.

"No!" Emma screamed, pulling her hand back from his. She reached back towards the cake. Her whole face started to turn bright red. Charming had to bite his lip to stop himself from laughing. She was just too darn cute when she got all mad like this.

"Come on Emmy. Enough with the sass. No cake just now, ok?" He said, picking her up. Emma immediately started to scream like a banshee, trying to reach the cake. Man, did his daughter have a serious sweet tooth. "Hey, where's buba got to?" Charming asked her, just noticing that Emma's blanket wasn't clutched tightly to her, as it normally was. At this, Emma too suddenly noticed the lack of blanket. Charming silently breathed a sigh of relief. Only her love for her blanket was stronger than her love of dessert. "Come on, let's go find it." He suggested. Emma then stopped crying and let her dad carry her out of the kitchen. That was a close one!
