Chapter 5

The Scent of a Monster: Shanella will Steal your Love

Night blanketed the city of Juban, as Usagi was having difficulty sleeping. She was dreaming of herself being trapped in a world of darkness, and was desperately running from the heartless that were trying to make her into one of them. Suddenly, Tuxedo Mask appeared before her, and the darkness soon transformed into a world of light. But her dream was soon interrupted by the sound of screaming, coming from the room next to her.

"That stupid Shingo, he totally ruined my dream," grumbled Usagi, as she got out of bed.

But Shingo was panicking.

"Why is there a cat in my room!?" he cried out in fear.

Luna stretched, and was about to approach Shingo when he grabbed his pillow and tried to throw it at her, but Luna jumped down off his bed, and went to Usagi who was struck by it.

"You guys, get that cat out of here right now!" Shingo said as he cowered in fear.

"That's right, you're scared of cats," Usagi said with a hint of realization in her voice.

"Why do you hate cats?" Sora asked him, as he gently ushered both Usagi and Luna out of Shingo's room.

"Well, you see, this one time, a cat bit me on the nose when I was just a baby. And ever since that day, I've been afraid of cats all my life," explained Shingo.

"I see. So that's how it happened," Sora said sympathetically to him.

Then he slowly stood up.

"Sometimes we're afraid of something that we don't like. But when we let our fear take control of us, it makes us say things that aren't true, but it can also make us do a lot of things on impulse. Just like when I thought I lost Riku and Kairi forever after the Heartless attacked Destiny Islands. I was afraid that I might never be able to see them again after that tragic event. If I hadn't met Donald and Goofy, I might never have been able to find my friends, King Mickey, Terra, Aqua, or Ven. But then I met others like, Xion, Roxas, Axel, and Namine, and I believed that they also had hearts like the rest of us. So you see, you can't let yourself be ruled by fear, Shingo. If you can stare it directly in the face, then you gotta learn to laugh at that fear," Sora said.

Shingo's eyes lit up. Then he saw something in Sora as he smiled at him, and gave him a thumbs up.

"Maybe you're right, Sora. But I don't know if I'll be able to overcome my Ailurophobia," Shingo said to him.

Then the two boys went downstairs to eat breakfast that Keiko had prepared for them.

"And just what were the three of you talking about so early in the morning?" she asked.

"Usagi, Sora, is that the same black cat that we saw the other day?" asked Kenji.

"Yep, her name is Luna," replied Usagi.

"She's perfect for Usagi. They're both obnoxious, unlike Sora who's pretty cool," muttered Shingo.

"Well, guess you'll be spending more time together, now that she's decided she wants to sleep in your room," Usagi said slyly to her brother, making him spit out his milk.

"What!? you gotta be kidding! I didn't say she could sleep there!" protested Shingo.

"Be nice, Shingo," warned Sora.

"Whatever you say, Sora," grumbled Shingo.

"Anyway, now that everyone in the house has met Luna, we can let her move in with us for good, right?" said Usagi.

"No way!" snapped Shingo.

"Yes way! Yes way! Yes, way!" barked Usagi.

"No way! No way! No way!" shouted Shingo.

"Usagi! Shingo! Zip it! Or your parents are gonna make you deal with the consequences!" bellowed Sora.

"Sorry," replied the two siblings.

"I'm fine with keeping her. What about you honey?" said Kenji.

"Well I think that we should have the kids work it out themselves," replied Keiko, making them bewildered.

"Ugh, seriously," groaned Usagi and Shingo.

Why were you in Shingo's room anyway?" asked Usagi, as she walked to school.

"Well, I've been so busy with work, I was so exhausted I just went into the wrong room, and it was an honest mistake," replied Luna.

"So what kind of work do you do Luna?" asked Sora.

"Oh that's easy, Sora, I was out looking for the Moon Princess," replied Luna.

"The Moon Princess?" asked Roxas.

"What's so important about finding her?" Axel asked as well.

"I don't know, guys," replied Luna.

"Anyway, see if you can make Shingo like you," said Usagi, as she raced to school.

"Maybe this pet store will give me a clue on how Shingo will like me," Luna said thoughtfully, as Sora and the Guardians of Kingdom Hearts walked with her.

They noticed a small tiger striped kitten licking a little girl's finger, and an idea suddenly flew into Luna's head on how she'd make Shingo like her. In her throne room, Jadeite and Sephiroth stood before Queen Beryl, and awaited her instructions.

"Well you two, have you found more life energy to capture and deliver to our great ruler?" she asked.

"Yes Queen Beryl, the monster Iguara has already made preparations," replied Jadeite.

"In the meantime, those inferior dullards… They'll soon learn what it means to bow to a god. But don't worry, Beryl, You'll become a god," added Sephiroth.

"You're right, Sephiroth. These pathetic mortals remain at the mercy of all their ridiculous wants and whims. And by merely providing them, we can cause all those pathetic yearnings to spill out as a mass of energy," said replied Beryl.

"Yes, and once we do, we'll be able to capture all of it," said Jadeite.

"All for our great ruler. Very well, proceed. But do so carefully. Understood?" Beryl said just as Maleficent and Pete arrived from a dark corridor.

"And one more thing, beware of Sora and his companions. They could be in league with this Sailor Moon you spoke of," warned Maleficent.

"Yes," replied Jadeite.

In Miss Haruna's classroom, Usagi, Naru, Umino, Sora, and all of his friends were patiently awaiting for the English Teacher to show up to start class.

"Seriously? Shingo really doesn't like cats?" asked Naru.

"I overheard Shingo say that, when he was just a baby, a cat from the neighborhood bit him on the tip of his nose. And ever since then, he hasn't been able to get over his fear of them," replied Usagi.

"So that's why he has Ailurophobia," murmured Sora.

"Oh, that's nothing. When I was a toddler an alligator practically swallowed me whole," piped in Umino.

"What, an alligator, really?" Usagi asked.

"You mean like that crocodile who continued to pursue Captain James Hook when Peter Pan took his left hand and fed it to that predator with that ticking clock?" Riku asked as well.

"Yes, it was a curious accident when my mother forgot to close the latch when she set it down," replied the nerd.

"Uh, close the latch to what?" Naru asked in confusion.

"Umino, are you sure you're not just talking about an alligator handbag?" hissed Usagi.

"Maybe that was it," he replied.

"Listen Umino, nobody likes tall tales. Especially if they come from you," said Roxas.

Usagi and Naru nodded in agreement, as Umino hung his head and slowly walked away from them.

Meanwhile, at Juban Public Elementary School, all the students were walking out as Luna watched from her perch. When Shingo was close enough, she seized her chance by trying to lick him, but the boy panicked like mad, forcing Luna to jump clear and run off into the distance.

"Shingo?" a girl asked him.

Shingo glanced around nervously, as the girl giggled at him.

"You're not really an animal person," she said.

Shingo knew it was his classmate, Mika Kayama. He began blushing like mad as he rubbed the back of his head.

"I don't know, I might be okay with another kind of pet, just anything except a cat," he said to her as he walked down the street with her.

"Oh yeah? Then I've got the perfect thing for you," replied Mika.

Shingo blinked in bewilderment.

"There's a new pet shop that just opened here in town. Let's check it out," suggested Mika.

"Uh, okay," replied Shingo, and they raced off down the street.

Behind them, Aqua stood watching them as she pondered about this pet shop.

"What's so important about a new pet shop in this city?" she asked herself.

Slowly, but quietly, she walked after them.

"There it is, it's called Perfume," said Mika.

Aqua had never heard of that kind of pet shop before, but decided to investigate it anyway, as she joined Shingo and Mika.

"Oh, hey Aqua," Shingo said to her.

"Hello, Shingo," replied Aqua.

"Uh, Shingo, who is this lady?" asked Mika.

"Oh right. Aqua this is Mika Kayama," said Shingo.

"Hello, Miss Aqua," Mika said to the bluette.

"What are you two doing?" Aqua asked them.

"Mika told me about this pet shop called Perfume. Maybe it might have a pet that I like," answered Shingo.

"I see. Well, I hope you find one that you like," said Aqua, as she walked out of the building.

Once she left, Mika and Shingo continued to look around.

"Wow, it sure smells good," she said to her friend.

"Yeah, it smells like perfume," replied Shingo.

They noticed some small animals that looked like rabbits.

"Hey, I think it's coming from these little guys," Mika said as she looked at the strange creatures.

Shingo was surprised, until a woman approached him.

"Hi, are you interested in a chanela?" she asked.

Shingo had never heard of a creature called chanela before, but he seemed rather curious about it.

"Yes, those animals are called chanelas that each emits a light perfume. Each and every one of them gives off a unique and different scent," the woman explained to him.

Shingo looked into the eyes of a white chanela, but he didn't seem to notice it's eyes glowing as he looked into them.

"I'm gonna buy this chanela," he said as if in a trance.

Slowly he opened it's cage, and gently took it out.

"I'd like to buy one too, but they must be expensive," said Mika, who had also been hypnotized.

"You can pay me whatever you like," replied the shopkeeper.

Shingo and Mika looked at each other with excitement, but neither of them knew that it was really Iguara in disguise. When they had left the pet shop, they passed a stray dog that was looking through some garbage. It tried to grab their attention, but Shingo and Mika ignored it, as they were far too focused on the chanela's they had.

"They smell so good," said Shingo.

"Yeah, I know," agreed Mika.

The poor dog seemed sad, as it watched them walking away.

"As long as I have a chanela, there's nothing else I'll ever need," Mika said in a trance-like state.

Jadeite watched as the shanelas in Mika and Shingo's hands began to glow, as he chuckled malevolently.

"I see, so you couldn't get him to like you," Usagi said as he lay back on her bed, making Luna move to one side.

"You know it isn't really important for me to live with you guys as a pet," replied the cat.

"I know what you mean, Luna. But it's probably best if you give Shingo some time to overcome his ailurophobia," said Sora.

"And what's that supposed to mean? Luna's the one who's always lecturing me to always work harder on my mission. Well this is her opportunity to lead by example," Usagi said to him.

"I don't know, Usagi. Maybe Luna needs a break from trying to get on Shingo's good side," interjected Kairi.

"I suppose," replied Luna.

Suddenly the door opened, and Shingo stepped in.

"Oh hey," greeted Usagi.

Luna slowly clambered off Usagi's bed. Then slowly approached Shingo as Usagi quietly cheered her on. Suddenly, Shingo kicked her hard, making Usagi and Kairi gasp in shock.

"That's it!" shouted Sora, quickly brandishing his Keyblade and rushing at him.

"No, don't hurt him, Sora!" cried Usagi.

But it was too late. Shingo gently held the chanela in his right arm, stopped Sora's attack, and blasted him back with the power of darkness, sending him flying and landing hard on Usagi's bed.

"Starting today, this chanela is my only pet! So hurry up and get rid of that cat!" snapped Shingo.

Usagi was so shocked by what she heard, that she began to cry loudly.

"Stop being so mean to Luna, Shingo!" she wailed.

"Yeah, what's gotten into you, dude!?" demanded Sora.

Quickly covering his ears, Shingo ran out of Usagi's room with the chanela on his shoulder, as Luna rushed to his side.

"It's okay," she assured Usagi.

"I'm so sorry Shingo did that to you," she sobbed as she wiped away the tears that stung her eyes.

But Sora was still angry at Shingo for hurting Luna.

"Usagi, I've made some tea," called her mother.

"Coming," called Usagi.

"Yeah, we'll be right down, Keiko," muttered Sora.

Once they were at the dinner table, everyone picked up their tea cups.

"That new pet of yours really does smell nice," Keiko said to her son.

"I know, and it's easy to take care of too. A chanela doesn't need to be fed," replied Shingo.

"Wow, that's one economical pet," said his father.

"And even I have to admit, that little guy is pretty cute," added Usagi, as she was eating a cracker.

But Sora was still glaring at Shingo after he saw how he hurt Luna.

"Well, why don't you keep both Luna and the chanela?" asked their father.

"I agree," added their mother.

"No way! Never!" barked Shingo.

He stormed up to his room, and set the chanela on his desk.

"You're just the cutest," he said to the chanela as it glowed.

The next day, Usagi was knocking on Shingo's bedroom door.

"Shingo, hurry up or you'll be late. Shingo, hey, are you listening?" Usagi said.

"I'm staying home today," replied Shingo, which made Usagi surprised, but made Sora angry.

Kairi was getting worried about how Sora felt after the way she saw Shingo harming another animal.

"You and I will be together forever," Shingo said in a hypnotized state.

Usagi slowly opened the door, and saw that the chanela was glowing with an eerie candescence.

"That chanela must be making him a puppet of the darkness," murmured Sora.

A short while later at Juban Public Middle School, everyone also had chanelas of their own, and were now obsessing over them, as if they were like ancient relics from a time long past. Usagi, Naru, Sora, and their friends had never seen everyone so transfixed by these bunny-like creatures.

"Whoa, those chanela's must be pretty popular right now, huh?" said Usagi.

I know, they're huge. Everyone has one," replied Naru.

"I don't know, guys. I think there might be something suspicious about them," said Riku.

"But, I really don't think people should really be bringing those pets to school," added Usagi.

Suddenly she turned to see Miss Haruna walking through the door of her classroom. Quickly Naru told her classmates to hide the chanelas. Then they hid the small creatures and quickly sat down at their desks, as Miss Haruna stepped up and began telling them to open up their textbooks to page 284. Once they did, MIss Haruna began writing on the black board with a piece of chalk in her hand. But the class was unable to hold back on hiding their chanelas and began pulling them out of their hiding spots. When Miss Haruna turned around she was suspicious, and walked up to the first student who had a chanela.

"What's that? Give it to me now!" she said.

"No way! Stop!" replied the student, and shoved her back.

Sora was aghast.

"Miss Haruna!" he cried out, and quickly ran to her side.

"Miss Haruna, are you all right?" asked Umino.

The student stormed out of the classroom in a huff, and soon, several more began following her example as well, as Sora glared at them. Once class had finished, Usagi, Naru, Sora and their friends met them outside on the school grounds.

"Those girls sure were acting strange lately," Usagi said to them.

"Yeah, I mean, sure chanelas are cute and all, but there's no need to go that far," replied Naru.

"Come to think of it, just this morning, shingo was acting weird too. I wonder if it's related to those chanelas," said Usagi, remembering how he acted cruelly towards Luna.

"If it is, then that must mean they're being controlled by them," said Xion.

"Hey Naru, do you have any idea where exactly those chanelas are being sold?" asked Sora.

"I think everyone got them from a place called perfume," replied Naru.

"Let's check it out!" Usagi said determinedly.

Sora and the others nodded, but Naru slowly shook her head.

"Sorry, I've got cram school today," she said to them.

"It's okay, Naru. Both me, Usagi, and our friends are gonna go there and check it out," replied Sora.

"Are you guys gonna be alright together?" Naru asked them.

"Yeah, we'll be fine," replied Usagi.

"Especially if it means teaching Usagi's brother a lesson about how being cruel to animals is not okay," added Sora, as the angry look returned to his face.

"Well, that's sisterly love," said Naru.

When Usagi, Sora, and the guardians of Kingdom Hearts arrived at Perfume, they saw lots of children gathering at the front door, to buy some new chanelas that were waiting to be adopted. Usagi was about to step in when she began to imagine what would happen if she started acting the same way Shingo.

"Hey, you guys," a voice came from behind them.

They slowly turned around to see that it was the guy they had met before.

'You again! What are you doing here!?" demanded Sora.

"Yeah, you keep showing up wherever we go, it's annoying, you know that?" grumbled Usagi.

"And I could say the exact same thing about you," replied the guy.

"Be quiet!" snapped Riku as he brandished his keyblade.

"Stand down Riku," said Terra.

"Don't tell me you decided to become like everyone else and buy one of these pets," the dark haired guy said to them.

"Oh yeah, why wouldn't we?" asked Roxas.

"Well you're lady friends just don't seem to be the type of girls who like perfume," he replied.

"Why don't you try saying that to Rarity's face!?" Sora said furiously.

"Yeah, get out of here!" added Usagi as she stormed into the pet store.

The others followed in as well, as the shopkeeper approached them.

"Hello, welcome. Look around, take your time," she said to them.

"Right, thanks," replied Usagi.

They slowly walked through the shop, glancing around at what they saw. All around them were chanelas, of various shapes, sizes, and many different colors. But Riku seemed suspicious.

"Something smells funny," he said observantly.

"You guys, don't be fooled by that," whispered Luna.

"Luna? Why, what's up?" asked Usagi.

"There's something very strange about this place," replied the dark colored cat.

"Now that you mention it, I can sense a great darkness inside of this place," mused Riku.

"A great darkness?" Usagi asked in confusion.

Suddenly she spotted a chanela in its cage.

"Don't look in it's eyes," Luna and the Guardians of Kingdom Hearts said to her.

But it was too late. Usagi was also hypnotized by the chanela, and was now obsessing over it.

"Riku was right, these chanelas have darkness in them, making them puppets of darkness," whispered Sora.

The shopkeeper suddenly approached them.

"I'm not surprised. I knew that a beautiful girl like you would pick the prettiest pet," said the shopkeeper.

She glanced at Sora and his friends.

"And what about you, would you also like a chanela of your own?" she asked them.

"Thanks but, we don't really need it," he replied.

Then he and his friends walked out of the pet store. Then they noticed Usagi walking towards them, with Luna trying to get her attention.

"Usagi, you really oughta take that back," she said.

"Don't come any closer or I'll give you a kick," snipped Usagi.

Everyone was shocked by what they heard.

"I can't stand you," she said to them.

"That's it! You're gonna regret it!" snapped Sora.

"Wait a second, it's not Usagi's fault she said that," piped in Luna.

Usagi walked past a little girl who fell off her trike as she crashed, but Luna quickly comforted her, making her happy. Unfortunately, Usagi ignored her.

"Usagi, you gotta snap out of it!" called Ventus.

Luna nodded, knowing that she couldn't leave things as they were. Quickly she jumped on Usagi's head, grabbed the chanela, and tossed it away from her.

"Nice one, Luna!" cheered Sora.

"Oh, thank goodness," agreed the cat.

"You guys, what's going on, what happened to me?" asked Usagi.

"You were being controlled by that chanela, just like Shingo and the others," replied Sora.

"I'm sorry guys, I totally screwed up," Usagi said apologetically.

"Never mind that, we're more worried about Shingo," replied Luna.

"We all are," agreed Axel.

They soon raced back to her house, and ran up to Shingo's bedroom.

"All right Shingo, hand over that chanela now!" Usagi said to her brother.

"No way!" argued Shingo.

They struggled over it, but Shingo wouldn't let go of it.

"I told you to give it to me!" snapped Usagi, as she struck him hard across the face.

Usagi tried to apologize, but Shingo shoved her aside.

"I'm not handing my Chanela over to anyone!" shouted Shingo.

"Wait!" called Sora, as he chased after him.

Usagi was ashamed, but Riku ran to her side.

"Snap out of it, Usagi! You can't let yourself be overtaken by shame! But, we have to help Shingo," he said to her.

"I don't have any idea where he could have gone," replied Usagi.

"I believe I do, lassie. I have a feeling both Sora and the lad must have gone back to that pet shop," a voice came from the hallway.

It was Scrooge McDuck, Donald's uncle.

"You'd best turn into Sailor Moon, and help him right away," added Scrooge.

"What do I do if I come face to face with a chanela again?" Usagi asked the smartly dressed duck.

"The only thing that you can do, is to pick yourself up, and do your duty as any hero would. Because heroes don't back down," said Huey, Dewey, and Louie Duck.

Usagi nodded, and stood up.

"Moon Prism Power: Make up!" Usagi cried out in a loud clear voice.

In a flash of light, she soon transformed into Sailor Moon. Then with Luna, Riku and the remaining guardians of Kingdom Hearts, they raced to Pet Shop Perfume. Once they arrived, the shopkeeper, known as Iguara waved her hands and began sending many chanelas to the children, as Sora watched them from the shadows.

"Now listen, you are to take those chanelas and distribute them through the city," she said to them.

"Yeah!" cried the children.

'That's what you think!" Sora said as he burst out from his hiding place and stood before her.

"I agree with Sora! How dare you use people's love of cute pets against them!" agreed Sailor Moon, who stepped in through the doorway, along with Sora's friends.

"Who are you!?" demanded Iguara.

"We know who we are! We're known as the heroes of light!" replied Sora, his keyblade held at the ready.

"We won't let you get away with treating people like this!" agreed Sailor Moon.

"As for who she is, we'll let her have the honor of introducing herself to you!" said Axel.

"I am the pretty guardian who fights for love and for justice! I am Sailor Moon! And now, in the name of the moon, We're punishing you!" Sailor Moon said to Iguara.

"Got it memorized?" asked Axel.

"Curse you!" roared Iguara as she transformed into her true form.

As she did, several Heartless appeared at her side, ready to strike them all down. But Sailor Moon was rather disgusted by her appearance.

"I don't suppose you'd be somewhat like the Lizard, the alter ego of Peter Parker's Science Teacher, Doctor Curtis Connors," Sora said as he smirked at her.

But as he turned to face the children who had also become lizards, he glared furiously at them, as well as the lizardafied Shingo.

"Guess so," he admitted, as he grabbed Sailor Moon's hand and lured them away from Iguara.

They were running as fast as they could, while the remaining Guardians of Kingdom Hearts also joined them for a tactical advantage. Then Sailor Moon knocked down some boxes to slow them down.

"Phew, right about now, Tuxedo Mask shows up to bail us out of trouble," she said to them.

"Look out!" cried Sora, and they quickly dodged Iguara's tail which damaged one of the pillars they were hiding behind.

"But, I don't think he's coming!" Sailor Moon said, through desperation.

"Stop depending on other people," called Luna.

Sora saw the lizardafied children approaching him and his friends, and prepared himself for battle.

"Quickly, use your Moon Tiara action!" Luna said to Sailor Moon.

"No! If she uses it on Shingo, it will only fill her heart with regret! We have to free him and the other kids from that lizard-woman's control!" Sora said to her.

"He's right, I won't hurt him!" agreed Sailor Moon.

"Okay, then use Moon Tiara Stardust instead," Luna said as he relented.

"In the meantime, we'll keep the Heartless busy, while you and Sora take care of that uglier lizard," said Xion.

"Got it!" replied Sailor Moon and Sora.

Quickly removing her tiara, Sailor Moon soon prepared for the new attack that Luna had suggested to her.

"Moon Tiara Stardust!" she said in a loud clear voice.

"And now, Esuna!" added Sora as he combined his power with Sailor Moon's attack.

Both spells combined to free Shingo and the children from Iguara's control.

"Whoa, I didn't know I could do that too," she said happily.

But Sora gave her a thumbs up, as the chanelas fell and disappeared into the darkness, as an angry Iguara charged at them.

"You guys, this way!" called Luna.

"Right!" replied the two warriors of light.

They raced out into the parking lot, with Iguara closing in on them.

"Man, she's fast for a lizard!" Sora said.

But she then took hold of Sailor Moon with her tail and began to strangle her.

"I can't get out!" she choked.

"Let her go!" shouted Sora.

"You have meddled in my affairs for the last time!" Iguara barked back at Sora, sending a horde of Heartless after him.

"Don't give up, Aim for the base of the tail," called Luna.

Sailor Moon nodded, and used her Moon Tiara Action attack to strike at the weak spot Luna had identified for her. At the same time, Sora lunged at the heartless and struck them all down with a powerful flurry of strikes from his keyblade. Iguara screamed in pain and agony, then disappeared in a burst of darkness. Then all the chanelas faded away into darkness, as Sailor Moon wiped her brow, as Sora stood by her side.

"We did it!" he said excitedly.

"Sailor V, wait!" called Shingo as he ran outside to meet her.

Quickly, she hid from him, but Sora stood his ground, as he held the keyblade at his side.

"Sailor V, can I have your autograph? I'm a great fan of yours!" he said excitedly.

."I'm actually Sailor Moon, you know!" snapped Usagi.

"Sailor Moon, don't say how you're feeling, say what Shingo needs to hear," said Sora.

"What? Oh, well, okay, close enough, whatever. Will you please give me your autograph?" he asked, unaware that Sailor Moon was actually Usagi in a costume.

"Listen, there's something I need you to do for me, Shingo," she replied.

"Huh? No way, how do you know my name?" asked Usagi's younger brother.

"Because, Shingo, there are a lot of things Sailor Moon knows about, and some that she doesn't. But she has a special favor for you," said Sora.

"And I heartily agree with Sora on this matter. Now Shingo, what I'm asking you to do is to be nicer to that black cat named Luna. And if you do that, then I'm certain that cat is going to bring you happiness," added Sailor Moon.

"Sure, if that's what you guys want," replied Shingo.

"Then do you promise to take care of Luna when Usagi's at school or at home, make sure that she's well fed, and see to it that she's happy every day and night?" asked Sora.

"I do, Sora. I swear it on your behalf, as well as Sailor Moon's," Shingo said as he nodded to him.

Then Sailor Moon glanced at Luna and the two nodded at each other in agreement. At the dinner table, Shingo had now overcome his ailurophobia, and was now petting Luna, as well as feeding her.

"How are you liking that ham, Luna?" he asked her.

The dark-colored cat meowed happily at him, in acknowledgement.

"Well, this is much more pleasant," said his father.

"From now on, I guess that we're a family of five," added Keiko.

"Yeah," agreed Sora, as he watched Shingo offering Luna some chicken.

"I'm not sure that this is any better," sighed Usagi.
