Chapter 9

Usagi's Disaster: Beware of the Clock of Confusion

In her throne room, Queen Beryl looked upon Jadeite with disappointment in her eyes.

"What? You're telling me that a second guardian has appeared?" she asked with a dark cold hatred in her voice.

"Yes, my Queen," replied Jadeite.

"She happens to be known as Sailor Mercury, and is in league with the boy known as Sora, thanks to the information Sephiroth gave to me," said Maleficent.

"I see, well then, that's all the more reason to gather energy quickly for our great ruler," Beryl said to Jadeite.

"And you'd better make it snappy, Jadeite, or else Beryl here will most certainly turn you into a Heartless," added Pete.

"I understand your concern, Pete, and I have an ingenious plan in mind to do exactly that," replied Jadeite.

"Hmph, and what's that supposed to be?" asked Sephiroth.

"Human energy can be amplified by feelings of anxiety. For example, it increases in situations when they are pressed for time. Therefore, by making it seem that they're rushed and are running out of time, we can magnify their energy and collect it more efficiently," explained Jadeite.

"I like it," said Beryl.

"Then let's get to it!" added Pete.

"Right," replied Jadeite.

Out on the streets of Juban's shopping district, Sora, Usagi, Ami, and their friends were all amazed by the number of people that were walking to and fro, as they looked all around them.

"Wow, there's so many people here," said Ami.

"Is this really your first time in a place like this, guys?" Usagi asked her friends.

Sora nodded at her.

"It sure is Usagi. I've always wanted to see what it's like to live in a big city," he said.

"Same here, although I have read about them," added Ami.

"That's sad, there's more to life than studying for exams," said Usagi.

"Oh sorry," Ami said apologetically.

"No big deal," replied Sora.

"Sora's right, there's no need to apologize," grinned Usagi.

"Yep, sometimes you should take a little break from studying for a little while and have a bit of fun," said Goofy.

"Okay, today we're gonna make up for what you missed out on! We'll window shop until we drop!" announced Usagi.

"You said it! So let's have some fun!" added Sora.

"Uh, Okay," said Ami as she and the rest of her friends followed her.

Soon they began visiting different stores, trying on different sunglasses, and had fun doing it. But Ami, sometimes tended to find different books to help her study, which Sora understood whole-heartedly.

"Did you find anything interesting?" asked Usagi.

"Yeah, a whole lot of stuff," said Ami.

"So, uh, what kind of stuff do you mostly read for fun, Ami?" asked Sora.

"I'll show you, if you show me," she replied.

But the two girls soon became mentally overwhelmed by what they saw in the books they exchanged.

"Phew, I'm getting tired," said Usagi.

"Yeah," replied Ami.

"Hey, look, that place is packed," she said, looking ahead of her.

"Sure is," Ami replied.

"Looks more like a grand opening scale," said Riku.

"Mostly for clocks and watches," added Roxas.

"Everything's fifty to seventy percent off?" Usagi asked in surprise.

"Kinda sounds like a great deal to me," said Axel.

"You said it, Axel. We should go over there and check it out," agreed Usagi.

"Well, I don't need a watch, I got one from my mom as a present," said Ami.

"How nice, Ami. But, you know Sora and Usagi, they've still got their adventurous spirit within their hearts," replied Aqua.

"And besides Ami, shopping isn't just about buying and looking around, it's about having fun," added Usagi.

She took them into the clock shop, where they saw a woman standing in front of a large grandfather clock.

"Welcome to our store," she said, as she bowed to them.

"Hey there," replied Sora.

"Please, feel free to look around," said the shopkeeper.

They did just that ,and saw a lot of clocks of many different shapes and sizes.

"Whoa, look at those prices," said Usagi, as she looked at the watches.

"Are watches usually this inexpensive?" asked Ami.

"No, they're having a special. It's unbelievable," replied Usagi.

They also saw many different alarm clocks that both looked unique and different, until they came to one, that looked like a cat with a clock on it's back. Usagi believed that it looked very much like Luna.

"I think I might have to buy it. Maybe it'll help me get to school on time," she said.

"Ah, the cat clock. Good eye, it's quite a bargain," said the shopkeeper.

"Yeah it sure is. Your prices are so low," replied Usagi.

But as she looked into her wallet, her expression changed from excited to disappointed.

"They're practically giving these clocks away, and I still can't afford one. If I'm late to class again, I'll set a new school record," she said almost ready to cry.

"Usagi, maybe we can come over to your house and make sure that you can wake up on time," said Ami.

"Yep, and I can probably say, 'GOOD MORNING USAGI!'" added Sora, which made Ami giggle.

Even the rest of Sora's friends laughed as well.

"Yeah! Laugh it up!" he said grumpily.

But Usagi hugged Sora tightly at what he heard.

"Normally I don't like rowdy wake up calls, because they'd remind me of how Shingo would wake me up. But, I really do appreciate it, Sora," she said to him.

Then Sora hugged her back as well, making everyone smile at them.

"Wait till you're an actual couple. Then you can buy her dinner, Sora," said Riku.

That night, at Tsukino Residence, Usagi announced that she had returned home, just as Sora walked in.

"Welcome back. You're in for a real treat, I bought you something nice today," said Keiko.

"Yeah? I'm so excited! What!?" asked Usagi.

"I went shopping today with Umino's and Naru's mothers, and I picked this up. Here," said her mother.

She passed it to Usagi.

Wow, it's from that clock store. You were there too?" said Usagi.

"Yeah, they were having a sale. Umino's mom bought seven clocks. I wanna go back there and get more myself," said Keiko.

"I see," replied Sora.

"Oh, awesome!" Usagi said excitedly.

"Isn't it cute? You're always oversleeping, so maybe this will get you out of bed in the morning," said her mother.

"Thank you, mom," replied Keiko's daughter.

She was thinking about how Luna would be rather excited, and how the clock looked very much like her. But, Luna had her doubts about that clock.

"Oh please, that clock doesn't resemble me one bit," she said grumpily, as Usagi wound it up.

"Maybe Luna. But if this clock helps Usagi wake up on time, so that she can get to school early, then I'm sure the alarm will be louder than on her other alarm clock than me saying, 'Good morning Usagi'," remarked Sora.

"Yeah, you said it, Sora. I just hope it keeps me from oversleeping again," agreed Usagi, as she finished and went to bed.

"I don't like the vibe of that clock at all. It's got a sinister feel to me," said Luna.

"Okay, great. Good night," yawned Usagi.

"Come on Usagi, don't do that," said the cat.

"Let it go, Luna. I know you're nothing like that cat clock," piped in Sora, as he walked out of Usagi's bedroom.

"I hope you're right, Sora," replied Luna.

But the instant he left the house, the clock struck midnight and began to give off an eerie glow that fell over Usagi's sleeping form. Luna awoke with a start, and saw that she had been right. Then several other clocks began to glow as well, affecting Usagi's parents and a lot of people all over town.

"This cannot be good," whispered Luna.

The next morning, Ami arrived at Usagi's house with Sora and his friends, and rang the doorbell. Keiko answered it.

"Oh, it's you guys," she said to them.

"Hiya," said Sora.

"Good morning, is Usagi still asleep?" asked Ami.

"No, she's long gone, replied Keiko.

"Already?" asked the two friends.

"But, it's only 7:00 in the morning," said Ami.

"I know she got a late start. Her brother Shingo was already on his way before six. Listen you'd better hurry up or you'll be late too," explained Keiko.

Then her husband, Kenji burst out the door with a piece of toast in his mouth, as he bid her goodbye.

"Have a nice day, Honey," called his wife.

Then she began listing the number of chores she had, as Sora folded his arms over his chest and glanced at Ami.

"Something strange is going on here," he said to her.

Ami was just as confused as Sora was, but she knew that he was right about what was going on. Everywhere they went, people were racing up and down the street on foot or in road vehicles in a blind panic, that looked like something out of a modern Arabian Nights. Students went to classes early, while Miss Haruna paced back and forth in front of her desk, wondering why most of her students were running late, until Naru stood up with a look of impatience on her face.

"That's it! I can't just sit around waiting all day! I'm gonna call everyone!" she snapped.

"Yeah! Really! I can't just sit around here waiting!" agreed Usagi.

"Okay, that's it. I'm gonna go run laps around the school," said Umino.

"That's enough! We'll have self-study today! It's 8:00 and so many people are still not here! I can't wait any longer. I have four dates lined up for today, I can't keep waiting for you slowpokes, I gotta go home and get ready for them! Class dismissed," said Miss Haruna, and she walked off.

"Then I'm going home too! There's nothing left for me to do now that I've finished my entire lunch," agreed Usagi.

"Yeah, good idea. You know the old saying, 'bite the shorts of the first guy with glass and a blue school uniform that you see," said Umino.

"No one ever said that but you," replied Usagi and Naru.

Umino stood back with an awkward look on his face.

"Anyway, we can't waste any more precious time waiting around here," declared Naru.

"Right, let's go home!" agreed Usagi.

Just as they did, the entire city was now reopening many shops, as the streets were jam-packed with cars, trucks, buses, and minivans all over the street as Ami and her friends walked down the streets.

"Why are all these stores opening up so early?" she asked.

"GUYS!" called a voice from behind them.

They all turned around to see Luna rushing towards them with the clock Usagi's mother had gotten from the clock shop.

"It's Luna," said Sora.

"Thank goodness I found you, of all the days for Usagi to leave early, she may have picked the worst one," said Luna.

"What's the matter? What's the big rush about?" asked Ami.

"This clock, something's off about it," replied Luna.

"Okay, sure," said Sora.

They all sat down on a bench in Juban Park as Ami set to work looking at it.

"All right then, why don't we take a quick look inside it?" said Ami.

"Oh, hold on," interrupted Luna.

Then she summoned what looked like a small computer for Ami to use.

"What the heck is this?" asked Sora.

"In simple terms, that is a supercomputer. A very compact one. It comes in handy for calculations, or analyzing data," replied Luna.

"Really? I actually get to keep this?" asked Ami.

"Yep, it's all yours Ami," said Sora.

"Well said Sora. I was going to give it to Usagi, but I don't think she'll get it. I believe Ami will make better use of it after all," smiled Luna.

"Wow, thanks Luna," said Ami.

"Okay… Let's take a look at that clock," said Riku.

"Right, sure thing," replied Ami.

When she opened it, a sphere of light surged past her making her gasp in shock.

"You okay?" asked Luna.

"What was that?" Ami asked as well.

"Darkness. It's the power of darkness," replied Riku.

"Guys, look inside here," said Luna.

"Whoa, no clockwork mechanisms," gasped Sora.

"It's empty," added Ami.

"Riku was right. This isn't an ordinary clock," said Luna.

"Then that means the people in this city that bought a clock like this, are being affected by the darkness," piped in Roxas.

"Then we'd better go find Usagi," said Goofy, as Ami began to feel concern weighing in on her.

As they searched for Usagi, they could see a large pile up of road vehicles on almost every intersection. Then the drivers jumped out and began to panic more wildly, but then noticed their life essence was being drained from them.

"Yes, keep rushing mortals. Rush right to your doom, and the faster you scurry around, the greater amounts of energy we can extract from you. If I am able to gather up all this nervous energy, I'm certain that our great ruler will be most pleased," chuckled Jadeite.

"Now this is what I call a smourgus board, Jadeite, old boy. So what do you say we pick up the pace?" laughed Pete.

At the same time, the shopkeeper stood before the clock.

"No matter how far away the humans get away from this clock, it will continue to harvest all of their fenetic energy," she said.

"You really do have quite a way with time, Ramua. Your magic has undermined the humans and their sense of time. You have done an excellent job with this," Jadeite said as he appeared from the corridor of darkness.

"What kind words. I thank you master," replied Ramua.

"I'll leave the rest to you," said Jadeite.

"And if you see a brat with a Keyblade, his ragtag group of friends, and those Sailor brats, you show 'em a good time! Be on guard!" added Pete.

"Yes sir, I'll handle it," Ramua said as they vanished into the corridor of darkness.

On the bus, Usagi was panting as she was now ensnared in a traffic jam, as she began panicking about going to slow. Even the passengers were complaining about why it was going so slow, but the driver barked back at them, telling them to keep quiet.

"Well then do something about it! I mean, you are the driver, right?" complained Usagi.

But she suddenly stumbled forward and slammed head first into the ticket machine.

"Hey, what do you think you're doing?" asked Usagi as the bus swerved this way and that.

Then a woman pressed the stop request button, and told the crazed bus driver that she had to get off the bus immediately, but the driver told her it was now an express bus, and would only reach its final destination, making her grab on to his neck.

"It's no use, no one's answering at the school," said Ami as she walked out of the telephone booth.

"But if Usagi's not there, then where could she have gone?" asked Luna.

"Even I'm just as stumped as you are, Luna," said Ventus.

"Ven's right, this might be dangerous without her," agreed Ami.

"Yeah, we really should find Usagi, before we do anything else," replied Luna.

Suddenly they heard a crash making them all flinch in surprise.

"Uh, guys, I think I have a pretty good idea where Usagi might be," Sora said, as he saw the people clambering out of the bus, and smack-talking the driver.

"Just what were you thinking, you lunatic!? I'm very busy, I don't have time for this!" snapped Usagi.

"Usagi!" Ami, Sora, and the guardians of Kingdom Hearts called to her.

"Oh, hi you guys," replied Usagi.

They all raced back to the clock store,

"So this is the monster's hideout!?" shouted Usagi.

"Usagi, not so loud," warned Luna.

Then she pulled her back to Ami and their friends.

"What are you thinking, standing out in the open and shouting like that? If they saw you, you'd instantly get turned into a Heartless," hissed Sora.

"Argh! What are we waiting for!? Didn't you say that this clock was suspicious!? Let's just storm in there right now, and finish this guys!" Usagi said hurriedly.

"Will you snap out of it Usagi!? Whoever that freak show is, they've taken advantage of your ability to tell time correctly! Now get a grip!" shouted Axel.

"I simply don't have time to discuss that kind of thing. I have a lot of things to accomplish today. First off, I have to get home. Then. eat a pork bun. After that, finish playing my video game, take a bath, and then… Oh no! Look what time it is already!" Usagi said at a faster pace.

"All right! All right! All right! We get it Usagi! Just, take a chill pill! What we all need to do is come up with a plan together," Sora said to her.

"Well, I suppose we could try sneaking in from the back. But the enemy might expect that and be waiting for us," said Ami.

"Oh, we'll just go in from the front! The enemy's going to attack us anyway! Let's just hurry up and transform! Come on, guys! Let's do this!" Usagi said in a more hurried state.

"What? Right now!?" gasped Luna and Sora.

But Usagi didn't listen.

"Here I go! Moon Prism Power Make Up!" she cried out quickly.

In a brilliant flash of light, she had now become Sailor Moon.

"You too, Ami! Hurry up! Standing around thinking won't get you anywhere!" Usagi said to her friend.

"Okay, like they always say, 'nothing ventured, nothing gained,' right?" Ami said.

"But Ami, this is too fast," protested Luna.

"Mercury Power Make Up!" called Ami.

In a burst of blue light, she had become Sailor Mercury.

"Alright, let's move in!" said Sailor Moon.

"Wait!" cried Luna.

"Let's go!" Sora said to his friends, and they raced after them as well.

Quickly Usagi flung her discus at the locked door, smashing it open. Then she along with Sailor Mercury and her friends raced inside the opening she created with Luna trying to catch them. But it closed off on her, making Luna slam right into the door.

"Boy this just isn't my day," she said.

"Look you guys, there's the door!" Sailor Mercury said, as they ran.

They burst through it, surprising the disguised Ramua.

"Now who's this?" she asked.

"I am the pretty guardian who fights for love and for justice! I am Sailor Moon!" she said.

"That's right, I'm Sailor Mercury!" added Mercury.

"We're here to take you down!" they said together.

"Got it memorized?" asked Axel.

"Oh, you all got here very quickly, as expected," said Ramua.

"There's no way I'd ever let anyone get away with wasting anyone's precious time! I bet even a cuckoo, in a cuckoo clock is even angry! And now on behalf of the moon, I'm punishing you!" snapped Sailor Moon.

"Hmph, really? You were fools to enter my lair, but now that you're here, This where your stories end!" Ramua declared loudly.

Then the clock struck twelve and a portal opened into another dimension.

"Now you fools, come and get me!" shouted the time demon.

"Oh I will!" replied Sailor Moon.

"Sailor Moon, wait!" called Sora and Sailor Mercury.

"No time to wait! Let's go!" she protested, and ran into the other dimension.

"Okay," replied Sailor Mercury, as she and the Guardians of Kingdom Hearts followed her into the dimensional time rift.

"Good luck in there, you two. I can't help you this time," Luna said quietly to herself.

Where could she have gone? Come on," griped Usagi.

"Hold on, Sailor Moon. We have to be cautious. If we start rushing things without thinking carefully it could spell disaster for all of us," Sora assured her.

"I'm with Sora on this one. That monster has probably set a trap here," agreed Ami.

"This is so irritating," complained Usagi who was growing more impatient.

They could all see how angry she was, as they sensed her heart was slowly overflowing with darkness.

"You coward! What kind of loser hides like this!? Just come out!" shouted Sailor Moon.

"I'm waiting just a little farther ahead. Come and get me!" Ramua said.

"Oh don't you worry, I will get you!" snapped Sailor Moon.

"Wait, you could be walking into trouble, Usagi," warned Ami.

Then she pressed her right earring, and a vizor appeared over her eyes.

"Hurry up, you guys!" barked Usagi.

"Right with you, Sailor Moon," replied Terra.

Then they entered another part of the dimension.

"She's not here," she said grumpily.

"Sailor Moon, listen, please. If we run around blindly like this, we're just gonna end up lost," Ami said to her.

"She's right, we'd end up losing not just our way, but ourselves as well," agreed Mickey.

"You have to stop and think for a moment. If you keep making irrational decisions, you'll end up making the same mistakes that me, Aqua, and Terra made," added Ventus.

"And you'd also become a puppet of the darkness, as I did," said Riku.

"I'm not worried, because I have you with me, right guys?" replied Usagi.

"Yeah, I guess," said Sora.

Then he motioned for Ami to pull out her supercomputer. As she typed in a series of commands on the control pad, Usagi turned and looked curiously at the device.

"Hey, what is that?" she asked.

"It's a supercomputer, from Luna," replied Ami.

"A gift from one kitty cat, to a Sailor Guardian that represents Mercury," added Axel.

"Wow, that's totally awesome," said Usagi, as she walked off.

Sora nodded in agreement, but suddenly saw that Usagi was slowly walking ahead of them.

"What's the matter, can't quite catch up?" asked Ramua.

"Oh, be quiet! We're coming, you just wait!" snapped Usagi.

Then suddenly they noticed Usagi shrinking down to the size of a child, making her Sailor Moon outfit almost too big for her to fit in.

"We'd already be there if it weren't for your cheating!" she shouted.

"Oh no!" Ami and Aqua cried out in shock.

"Pull her back, Ami!" shouted Donald.

"Sailor Moon, get back!" called Sora and Ami, and dragged her back to the doorway.

Then she reverted back to her normal state.

"Boy that was scary," she said with relief in her voice.

"I'll say, it appears that time has become very erratic and unstable here. It's able to speed up, slow down, and even go backward," replied Ami.

"You mean there are rooms where we could turn into old people?" asked Usagi.

Sora nodded, his face looking grim.

"And worst of all, everyone would end up being called Grandma Moon," he said, with a hint of worry in his voice.

"Oh man, that's just horrible," she replied.

From outside of the time warp, Tuxedo Mask entered the shop and looked around.

"Strange, no one's here," he said.

Meanwhile, Ami had managed to finish typing on the console of her supercomputer.

"What's taking so long?" Sailor Moon asked, growing more impatient.

"Give me one more second," replied Ami.

Then the screen blinked and revealed which direction they would go.

"Just as I thought," she said.

"Oh, yeah?" asked Usagi.

"There's a pattern to this labyrinth, and I think I can figure it out," replied the bluette.

"Okay, just tell us where to go, and we'll follow you Mercury," said Sora.

"I'm 78% certain that she is, this way," Ami said, pointing ahead of them.

"All right, then let's move out!" Sora said to his friends.

"Yeah!" replied Sailor Moon.

"Let's get this show on the road," agreed Axel.

As they raced through the temporal labyrinth, they managed to see Ramua standing before them, with Pete at her side.

"Well, well, well, if ain't the Sailor Brats and their Key-bearing buddies," he said.

"You have done well to make it this far, everyone. But it's over, you've reached the end!' added Ramua.

"Wrong, you're the one who's reached the end!" Sailor Moon said.

She soon rushed towards them, when something stopped her in her tracks, making Pete laugh at her.

"I can't stand up, what's happening to me?" she asked in desperation.

"The effects are finally starting to show. By now Sailor Moon, that clock has completely drained away all of your energy," cackled Ramua, making her cringe in fear.

"Her energy?" gasped Ami.

"Now take this!" shouted the time demon, but Sora blocked her attack with his keyblade, and forced her back.

"If you want to get to Sailor Moon, then you gotta go through me first!" he said to her.

"Very well then, I've always wanted to test my strength against a Keyblade Master," smirked Ramua.

They engaged furiously in a deadly clash of blades that made Ami surprised, while Sailor Moon cheered him on.

"Pete, put the others in their place!" she called to out Maleficent's lackey.

"With Pleasure," replied Pete.

Then he unleashed a powerful time spell upon Sailor Mercury, who cried out in shock.

"Mercury!" cried Riku, as he ran up to her paralyzed form.

"Oh no you don't! Heartless Squad! Round up!" shouted Pete.

Then a battalion of Heartless appeared before them, forcing the other Guardians of Kingdom Hearts to protect them.

"Look after them, guys! I'll hold her off!" Sora said.

"We have stopped time entirely for those two, and once I have eliminated you and your friends, I'll make Sailor Moon suffer!" Ramua said with a wicked grin.

She attacked Sora more furiously, as he too engaged her in another deadly clash of blades. But Sora lunged at her as Ramua swung her spear down, only for Sora to strike at her with his keyblade, sending her in the opposite direction, while Sailor Moon bravely cheered him on.

"Sure wish someone could help us out of this jam," he said, as he continued his battle.

His words reached Tuxedo Mask's ears, allowing him to fling a rose at the clock they were inside of. As he did so, all the power that Ramua had accumulated suddenly began to fade away.

"My strength is coming back!" Sailor Moon said happily.

"The energy! It's escaping!" cried Ramua.

"I can move again!" said Sailor Mercury.

"Good, now we can finish this," replied Sora, as he charged at the time demon and began hammering into her with his keyblade.

At the same time, Riku and the rest of Sora's friends had managed to wipe out the remaining Heartless under Pete's command, as Sailor Mercury used her bubble spray to cover the battlefield in a thick fog.

"Where are you!?" shouted Ramua.

"Right behind you," said Sora.

She whirled around only for a beam of light that burst from Sora's keyblade sending her flying back, and landing in a crumpled heap.

"If the light can hurt you, then that means that you're nothing more than a puppet of Jadeite's twisted schemes," he said.

"Are you okay, Sailor Moon?" asked Ami.

"Thanks alot, but I'm alright now," replied Usagi.

They soon noticed a flash of light in the distance.

"Sora must be with that monster," Sailor Mercury said pointing to the light.

"Got it," replied Sailor Moon, as she removed her tiara for her signature attack.

Using her Moon Tiara Action attack, Sailor Moon sent the golden discus right towards Ramua.

"It's over now! You lost!" Sora said to her.

Crying out in shock, Ramua saw the golden discus flying towards her. When it collided the time demon screamed in pain and agony. As she faded into dust. Then the clock store vanished into nothingness, revealing Usagi, Ami, Sora, and their friends in an empty space.

"You guys, you're okay!" Luna cried out happily as she ran up to them.

Then they all turned to face Pete, who was furious.

"You just wait! Nobody, and I do mean nobody messes with the mighty Pete!" he snapped.

"So 'mighty' Pete! Who are you working for!?" demanded Sora.

"Oh, you don't know, eh? Well, I ain't tellin' you who it is! 'Course, you'd only have to force me to spill the beans about who it is!" replied Pete.

"Wait a minute, do you know who Pete is?" asked Ami.

"We sure do! Pete's been causin' trouble for ages! His Majesty banished him to another dimension a long time ago. But then Maleficent released him and he's been helpin' her ever since,'' replied Goofy.

"That's right, you bozos! And now she and I are helpin' Jadeite gather up a lot of fresh energy to resurrect that great ruler he told me about. And now, you're world- no, no, no, all the worlds- are gonna belong to yours truly. And the rest is history!" said Pete.

"Who's Maleficent?" asked Usagi.

"An evil witch who once lived in Aurora's world. And now, I'm willing to bet that she and Pete are in cahoots with Jadeite and the person he's working with. But more importantly, she took advantage of my weakness and made me turn against Sora, all because I believed her lies about how he replaced me with Donald and Goofy," explained Riku.

"And now, thanks to you weasels wreckin' Jadeite's plans, I'm gonna hafta tell him that we'd better think of somethin' else to keep you from interfering with our plans! So, just you wait! You're gonna be sorry you crossed paths with us!" snapped Pete, and he ran off into the corridor of darkness.

A short while later, everyone was walking down the street of the shopping district looking mildly tired.

"Oh boy, that was totally exhausting. I think I've had just about all the excitement I can handle for one day," said Usagi.

"Usagi! I have huge news! The bakery is offering free cakes to whoever can eat them the fastest!" Naru said excitedly.

"What!? no way!" Usagi gasped in surprise.

As Naru led the way, Usagi suddenly tripped on a pebble and landed on Sora, who caught her in his arms.

"Phew, thanks for breaking my fall Sora," she said to him.

"Heh, no problem Usagi. Now let's go try those free cakes that Naru talked about," replied Sora.

(Play Hand in Hand *Reprise* from Kingdom Hearts 1 for this finale)

Usagi nodded and they raced after her together, hand in hand.

"Guess she and Sora are very much alike than we realized," said Luna.

"Yep," replied Ami, as she watched them running after Naru.

They all looked at each other, and smiled.

Guys, let's go!" called Sora.

Then everyone joined them as they continued to follow Naru, all of them ready for whatever would come to them in the future, as Goofy hollered loudly into the sky above.
