Chapter 13
Heroes Unite: The End of Jadeite
In the palace of darkness, Jadeite stood before Queen Beryl, Sephiroth, Maleficent, and Pete, as he bowed solemnly to them.
"Jadeite! It's true that you collected a great deal of energy on this world for our great ruler. However, it's also true that you have failed me many times. Perhaps your greatest and most disappointing failure of all, is that you have been unable to defeat those infuriating nuisances, Sailor Moon, Sailor Mercury, Sailor Mars, and their new allies, Sora and the Guardians of Kingdom Hearts," Queen Beryl said to him.
"Queen Beryl, in my defense," Jadeite tried to say.
"SILENCE!" shouted Maleficent.
"Yeah, Shaddup! None of us wanna here your stupid little excuses, Soldier boy!" added Pete.
"If you wish to regain Queen Beryl's trust, you must kill them all, immediately. But if you fail, then you've earned Queen Beryl's permission to let Maleficent turn you into a Heartless," Sephiroth said calmly.
Everyone else murmured about Jadeite being turned into a Heartless as he seethed with even greater anger within his being.
"Jadeite as I'm sure you're aware, those who receive the punishment of being turned into a Heartless, shall never regain their hearts, and will wonder the realm of darkness forever!" Beryl said wickedly.
For the first time in his life, Jadeite felt a strong surge of fear within him after hearing what his superiors said to him. In Usagi's house, Sora, Usagi, and Luna all gazed up at the stars.
"There's Cygnus, Sagittarius, Lybra, the constellation of Motoki, the constellation of Tuxedo Mask. What am I saying? How could this happen to me? I've fallen for two different guys. What a flirt I've become!" giggled Usagi.
But Luna yawned as Sora glanced at them.
"Maybe, they don't even notice you. Besides, your crushes are like bubbles. They only last a moment," she said.
"I seriously doubt that Luna. And besides I know how hard it can be whenever Usagi's in love with someone," piped in Sora.
"I know what you mean, Sora. But if only Motoki were Tuxedo Mask," Usagi replied blissfully.
She imagined Motoki in Tuxedo Mask's costume, telling her how much he loved her.
"That'd be awesome," she said happily.
But the moment was ruined by the sound of Jadeite's wicked laughter, causing her to look in confusion.
"I know that laugh," Sora said darkly, as he looked out the window of Usagi's bedroom.
He could see darkness in the sky, making Usagi and Luna react in shock, while Sora glared up furiously to see a projection of the warlord before them.
"Jadeite!" shouted Sora.
"I see you know who I am, boy! Now Sailor Moon, Sailor Mercury, Sailor Mars, and you Guardians of Kingdom Hearts! Come to Haneda Airport at 1:00AM tomorrow night. Be at Runway F," Jadeite said as Usagi cowered in fear.
"And if we refuse?" Sora asked him.
"Well, to answer your question, boy," replied Jadeite.
Then to make his point clear, he sent a blazing fireball onto the city setting ablaze, with Sephiroth standing in it, before walking away.
"You! You devil!" snapped Luna.
But Jadeite snapped his fingers and the flames disappeared.
"Hah, that fire was merely a projection. But if you're late, Sephiroth will destroy everything that you hold most dear to you," he said.
Then his image faded into the darkness, as Sora jumped out of the window and raced to Hikawa Shrine, while Usagi and Luna were stunned by what they saw. But they still came to the shrine anyway, with the remaining Guardians of Kingdom Hearts at their side. Then Ami arrived as well, and they all stood with Rei, outside of the shrine.
"If we don't show up, Jadeite and Sephiroth will turn the city into raging inferno resulting in many casualties," Luna said.
"You're right Luna, but what can we do now?" asked Sora.
"Go, when evil issues a challenge we must always confront it," replied Rei.
"But we'd probably be walking right into a trap," said Ami.
(Play Those Chosen by the Planet from Final Fantasy 7 for this part)
But suddenly a black feather fluttered down in front of them, making everyone look up. To their horror, it was Sephiroth, the One-Winged Angel, descending down towards them with a wicked smile on his face.
"Sephiroth! Why have you-!?" Luna was about to ask, when Sora stopped her.
"Stand down, Luna!" he said.
Rei glared at the silver-haired man holding Masamune in his hand.
"And you, you're wrong!" she said furiously.
"Those who look with clouded eyes, see nothing but shadows," he said.
"Everything about you is wrong!" snapped Rei, ignoring what Sephiroth had said to them.
"All born are bound to her. Should this world be unmade, so too shall her children," sneered the One-Winged Angel.
"The world won't end today. But you will, by Cloud's sword!" Sora said as he brandished his Keyblade.
"Then he must understand by now," replied Sephiroth.
"What do you plan to do with him?" Ami asked, unable to look at the mad swordsman's menacing eyes.
"Nothing. Cloud is the one who hungers for darkness," answered Sephiroth.
"Sora told me that he has a score to settle with you," Usagi said as bravely as she could.
"I see⦠He wants to meet me again," said the silver-haired man in black.
He slowly turned around and walked away.
"Then I should give him what he wants. That last bit of light is always the hardest to snuff out," Sephiroth said.
Then everyone watched as he floated upwards and disappeared in a burst of darkness and falling feathers.
(Music ends here)
"Who was that?" Rei asked.
"He's called Sephiroth. An embodiment of the dark hatred in Cloud's heart," explained Sora.
"Sora told us about him. He first fought him in Olympus Coliseum, and again at Radiant Garden. He's someone you really don't want to mess with," added Riku.
"You're right, this is the second time I've ever seen him. But, his power frightens me just as much as it scare's Ami," replied Luna.
"Then we'd better come up with a plan to confront them tomorrow night," said Roxas.
"So what should we do, Usagi?" Luna asked her.
Usagi pondered for a moment, until Cloud arrived at the shrine.
"If you're far too scared to face him, that means he wins by default. But more importantly, Sephiroth is my fight! No one else can kill him, but me!" he said to them.
The next morning, Usagi's parents were listening to a radio broadcast about a strange individual whom their daughter and her friends knew as Jadeite appearing in the sky, but dismissed it as a prank to instill fear into the hearts of many men, women, and children around the world, while a fully armed police force would be stationed at the airport Jadeite spoke of. Sora was still angry at Jadeite, but he knew he couldn't back down from a fight by letting fear get the better of him, especially when he was visiting Usagi's school. Sora and Usagi heard most of the other students talking about going to the airport, but they still felt uneasy about Jadeite's challenge.
"This isn't good, if all these people come to the airport, then they'll get caught in the battle," said Luna, trying to keep her voice down so as not to draw attention to herself.
"Yeah. Well, you know, maybe it's a sign that we shouldn't go at all," replied Usagi.
"Wrong! If we don't face Jadeite in battle, then he'll say that we're just dead weight, let Sephiroth destroy the city, and slaughter a lot of innocent people," interjected Sora, making both her and Luna disturbed by what he said to them.
"So what do you guys think?" asked Naru, drawing their attention to her.
"This whole thing's just a mean prank, right?" said the other student.
"You're wrong it's not! I'm certain that it was actually an alien from outer space who's come to this planet to give Humanity a warning about it's corrupt ways before it's too late!" protested Umino.
"What? Come on Umino, you've just read way too much third rate science fiction Manga," Naru said.
"Whatever it is it sounds exciting. Let's make a big group tonight and go to Haneda Airport to see what happens," the girls said to her friends.
"Not so fast, you guys," Usagi tried to say.
"Forget it! Absolutely not! You middle-schoolers have no business whatsoever being out that late at night," Miss Haruna said.
"That's right, I agree with Miss Haruna. We really shouldn't go," added Usagi.
"Why not?" asked Naru.
"Because it's dangerous," answered Usagi.
"But how can you be so sure?" asked the other girl.
"Well, because," Usagi was about to say.
"You know something, don't you?" Umino said to her.
"No I don't, but if you have the time to go out and play at night, wouldn't it be better to be studying at home?" asked Usagi, as Sora nodded in agreement.
"Oh, Miss Tsukino, you're speaking so sensibly," Miss Haruna said with a surprised look on her face.
She slowly stepped towards her, and placed her hand upon her forehead.
"No fever," she said to herself.
She stepped away from her.
"Are you feeling okay?" she asked.
(Play Friends In My Heart whenever Sora has a random number of reasons)
"She's fine Miss Haruna. But I too agree with what you both said, for three reasons. 1: Nobody should go outside after nightfall, because there are a lot of bad people out there who like to cause trouble, even when we go to sleep. 2: We'd have to deal with a lot of serious issues going on after a world leader decides to enforce an immediate curfew by saying that we should stay home at a reasonable time. That way, it'll help us be safe and protected from the bad people. And 3: Neither you, Usagi, nor I would want anyone getting hurt out there. Because you all need to know that leaving things to the authorities is better than trying to walk out in the middle of the night after bedtime. So you see, None of us would want to see anyone with a serious injury on their person, no matter how great the danger may be," Sora said to Usagi's english teacher.
Miss Haruna was surprised, but Usagi turned and smiled at him.
"Actually, you and Miss Tsukino make a very valid point. And for that, I do apologize for misjudging you, despite her struggle," she said to him.
Then suddenly, she saw Usagi walk up to Sora and hug him.
"Thanks for backing me up, Sora," she said as she quietly wept tears of joy.
Sora nodded and gently hugged her back, as Miss Haruna and the other students all smiled respectfully at them.
"Miss Haruna, can you make sure that everyone's safe?" he asked the english teacher.
"Of course I can, Sora," she replied, as she shook his hand out of respect.
"Thank you," Sora said, as he and Usagi left the classroom.
At crown arcade, Sora and Usagi had managed to inform Motoki of what they had said to Miss Haruna and her class at Juban Middle School. The young man couldn't help but sympathize with what he heard, as glanced at Usagi.
"Wow, that was pretty bold of you, Sora," he said.
"You really think so, Motoki?" Sora asked him.
"Do you really think Sora's a great guy?" she asked, wiping the happy tears from her eyes.
"Of course he is, and I agree with what he and your teacher said. Part of your charm is that you have your own point of view. You don't think the same everybody else does. And personally, I like girls who have unique personalities, and who aren't afraid to speak their minds either," replied Motoki.
Sora nodded as Usagi smiled happily at him.
"Oh yeah?" she asked wistfully.
Then she and Sora went down the streets, until one of Usagi's shoes flew off her foot, and landed on the head of the same guy that they met before.
"OUCH!" he cried out irritably.
"Sorry about that!" Sora and Usagi said to him.
But when they approached him, they were shocked to see each other again, but Sora immediately brandished his Keyblade and held it to his side.
"I think this is the second time that you hit me with your shoe. Are you trying to hurt me?" he demanded.
"So what? At least she didn't mean to!" Sora said furiously, making Usagi worried.
"Easy, Sora. I know he can be obnoxious, but that doesn't mean you should threaten him with your Keyblade," she said in a low whisper.
"Yeah, I hate to admit it, but she does make a valid point," agreed the guy, which made Usagi surprised.
"I don't care if you tell Usagi to pretend to be more well behaved. But she and I can agree that if you keep up this behavior, then you'll leave me with no other alternative but to make sure you know your place, buddy," Sora said.
"Yeah. Look I'm not gonna go changing myself, not when there's an awesome guy who likes me for how much I'm like Sora," agreed Usagi.
"Are you serious? That guy must be a total loser," asked the guy, making Sora glare at him furiously.
"He's not, he's way more charming than a big jerk like you," Usagi said angrily.
"And seeing as you're the kind of guy, who likes to treat Usagi like trash, then you might as well forget about getting to know her better. Not as long as I have a say on the matter. But right now, your presence here is not making Usagi happy. So leave us be, or else!" Sora said, as he lowered his keyblade.
"Whatever you say. Even a cracked pot has a cover of it's own. And every bunhead has her loser," he replied.
"THAT'S IT!" screamed Sora, unable to hold back his anger any longer.
"Stop it Sora! Don't stoop to his level! Just don't do it!" Usagi said fearfully, as she dropped to her knees and cried loudly, making Sora stop and look back at her.
"Okay, okay! You've made your point!" the guy said in a wild panic.
"Don't be a bully, Sora!" wailed Usagi.
"Sorry, but something came up and I have to go. Uh, here's your shoe back, see ya. Bye now!" the guy said, as he ran off while Sora glared furiously at him, and Usagi continued to cry.
That night, at Haneda Airport, several police officers were on patrol, searching for the one culprit. Unbeknownst to them, Jadeite was now joined by Sephiroth as they stood on the control tower above them.
"I have no use for inconsequential mortals. Take a nap," Jadeite said.
"Descend Heartless Angels," added Sephiroth.
Then all the police officers at the airport collapsed to the ground, as the two men walked down the stairs.
"Now come, you cursed fools," cackled Jadeite.
Elsewhere, Sora and his friends were rushing the airport as fast as they could.
"Slow down, Sora! wait for us!" called Rei.
"Yeah, don't leave us behind!" agreed Usagi.
"We don't have time! We have to beat Jadeite! So either stop the bickering or face the consequences!" Sora called back to her.
"Sora's right you two. Dealing with the consequences is the worst thing that can happen to anyone," agreed Ami.
They soon arrived at the station where they saw a train with it's doors shut.
"Uh oh, it looks like we missed the last train," said Usagi.
"Well, we'll just have to take a taxi then," smirked Rei.
But the doors suddenly opened, making them surprised.
"The door opened," gasped Ami.
"Let's go," Sora said to his friends.
"Right, but be cautious everyone. We may not know what's going on," warned Terra.
"What do you think?" asked Luna.
"Seems the enemy has sent us an invitation. I accept," said Rei, as she stepped aboard the train.
"Same here, Rei," agreed Axel.
"Hey, wait," Sora, Ami and Usagi said.
As soon as everyone stepped aboard the train, the door closed.
"They locked us in," cried Ami.
Everyone stood warily as the train took them to the airport, but Sora had a serious glare on his face.
"Don't let your guard down once we reach the airport, guys. Remember, if we don't make it in time, Jadeite and Sephiroth could reduce the city and its inhabitants to dust and ashe," warned Sora.
"Your right. We might have just stepped right into the enemies trap," agreed Luna.
"So what's our next move?" asked Roxas.
"We spring the trap," replied Sora.
When they arrived at the airport, Usagi, Rei, and Ami glanced around the corner and saw several policemen patrolling the reception desks.
"There sure are a lot of police officers here," whispered Usagi.
"It looks like nothing's happened yet," added Rei.
"You're right, but don't let your guard down," warned Ami.
But suddenly Sora and Rei sensed a dark presence approaching them.
"Behind you!" They said.
"Oh no!" gasped the two girls.
But Rei quickly kicked one back before he could strike them, as Usagi wanted to know why they were being attacked by the police.
"This way! Quickly!" Rei and Sora said to them.
"What is wrong with our world's order hiring people to attack innocent people who've done no wrong!? Hold up you guys! Don't leave me!" cried Usagi.
They had managed to lead them outside of the airport, so as not to cause irreparable damage from the inside. Sora knew that serious damage inside the building would have some dire consequences that would lead to a public declaration of Martial Law in Usagi's hometown, leading to serious curfews that would have hampered whatever fun plans she had for the future. But Ami stopped and glanced behind her.
"Wait a minute, something's not right, She said.
Thinking fast, Ami soon transformed into Sailor Mercury.
"All right, I'm in too," said Rei.
Then she transformed into Sailor Mars, making the officers confused.
"What seriously? Am I really the last person to transform?" asked Usagi.
But she brushed it aside and glared furiously at them, turning into Sailor Moon. At the same time she did, the Guardians of Kingdom Hearts readied their weapons and joined their friends on the battlefield.
"Scan 'em, Mercury," Sora said.
Ami nodded, then began scanning them with her visor.
"I knew it, those officers aren't real humans, they're just clay golems," she said to Sora.
"If that's the case, no more holding back," replied Sailor Mars.
Axel smirked and turned his keyblade into his old chakrams.
"BURN BABY!" he shouted, sending them towards the clay golems.
"Fire Soul!" cried Rei.
Both of their attacks collided in a fiery explosion.
"Feel the burn," Sailor Mars said pridefully.
"Ami was right, they're made of clay," said Luna.
"Sailor Mars, you are so awesome," smiled Sailor Moon.
"I know," replied Rei.
But they heard Jadeite's maniacal laughter along with Sephiroth's dark chuckle.
"At last your all here, Sailor Moon, Sailor Mercury, and Sailor Mars, and you've shown us your true identities! But most of all, you've brought those meddlesome Keyblade Wielders Maleficent warned me about!" Jadeite said, making Luna and the others gasp in shock.
"Jadeite! You'll pay for finding out who they are!" Sora shouted angrily, as he brandished his keyblade.
"Hey, come on now! Don't do it, Sora!" cried Usagi.
"The joy's of life are short lived, and its ideals ordeals many. But that's none of your concern since your lives end today," sneered Jadeite.
"Think again!" came a voice from nearby.
It was Cloud, now dressed in a new outfit after tossing his old one aside. He had arrived on Fenrir. He soon took out his sword, shut off the engine, and stood with a determined glint in his eyes.
"Ah, Cloud Strife. So you've finally decided to help them, Traitor!" Jadeite said furiously.
"So what if I did?" Cloud asked them.
"Wait, Cloud Strife?" asked Rei.
"Yep, the one and only," replied Sora.
But then Cloud noticed Sephiroth next to Jadeite.
"Sephiroth! Why are you helping him!?" he demanded.
"To crush the lives of these cursed fools. Soon they will become one with me so that their powers give me strength. Then you will perish by my sword," replied Sephiroth.
"Hold on! They say that beauty is short lived, so does that mean they're gonna go after me first because I'm so beautiful?" gasped Usagi.
"And what about you exactly is beautiful?" Rei asked sarcastically.
"Just look, you can't deny that I'm more beautiful than you are," replied Usagi.
"Okay, I'll humor 'cause your dumb," said Rei.
"Hey!" snapped Sora, making Rei jump in shock.
"Well my nose is clearly more beautiful than yours," Usagi said.
But Sephiroth chuckled at them, and raised his hand over his head.
"Very well, you leave me no choice but to take advantage of your situation," he said, jumping down towards them.
But instead of falling he floated down until he was near them, and pointed his sword at them.
"Do you see what happens when you let someone take advantage of your infighting!?" snapped Ami, as she stepped between them.
"Oh right, sorry," replied Usagi.
"Don't you have any idea what happens when you infight in front of an enemy you have in common!? You let them take advantage of your situation just so they can turn you into Heartless! That's what Jadeite and Sephiroth want! They want us to turn against each other, just so they can strike us down with great vengeance, and turn us all into Heartless!" shouted Sora.
"What an excellent idea, Sora! I'll be sure to bring your Heartlessified selves to Queen Beryl as proof of your demise!" Jadeite said, howling with crazed laughter, making Sora even more angry.
Suddenly Jadeite began casting his darkness on a plane making it lumber towards them.
"Whoa no way! That plane is gonna crush us!" gasped Usagi.
"Run Quickly!" cried Luna.
Ami, Rei and Usagi did so as the plane chased after them. At the same time, Cloud and Sephiroth engaged in a fierce duel, while Sora and his friends battled a swarm of Heartless that were coming towards them. Then Usagi noticed another plane approaching them at high speed.
'Somebody do something!" she wailed in terror.
"Right, I'll use Fire Soul!" said Rei.
"No, do you have any idea how much an airplane costs? A lifetime of all of your allowances put together wouldn't even come close to covering it!" protested Luna.
Usagi was shocked.
'That much, huh?" Rei said.
"Then there's just one thing left for us to do," Ami siad.
"What?" asked the girls.
"We keep running!" she cried.
"WHAT!?" gasped Usagi and Rei.
"It's one thing to get run over by a car, but it'll be too embarrassing to say you got run over by an airplane! And we're running out of runway!" cried Usagi.
Ami and Rei knew Usagi was right. There was nowhere left for them to run! Sora glanced at them and rushed towards them, while being careful not to get caught up in Cloud and he is beyond Sephiroth's fierce clash of hatred and attrition.
This is bad! Thought Luna, as Jadeite's laughter became more erratic.
"It's over!" he cried, but was distracted by a rose that broke his concentration.
"The airplane. It stopped," Usagi, Rei, and Ami said together.
"And I know someone who could do it," added Sora, as he glanced at the rose.
"Picking on young girls is your idea of fun?" Tuxedo Mask's voice said from the shadows.
"So it's you once again, Tuxedo Mask! Guess I'll have to send you into darkness along with those fools!" sneered Jadeite.
"You'll pay for the crimes of using innocent people to carry out your evil deeds!" replied the caped crusader.
All the girls watched in awe as the wind blew at Tuxedo Mask's cape, just as Sora joined them on the control tower's roof.
"It's all over, Jadeite!" he said, pointing his Keyblade at him.
"Yes, for you!" he replied, blasting them with dark lightning.
But the two warriors were able to jump clear. Then Jadeite angrily lunged at Tuxedo Mask, and struck him down.
"No! Tuxedo Mask!" cried Usagi, as she and the others heard a loud splash on the ocean.
They all ran to the ocean, only to see a rose slowly rise up, making them believe that he was gone.
"Oh no," the three Sailor Guardians said in dismay.
But Sephiroth chuckled as Jadeite rose from the water, laughing in an unhinged manner.
"How dare you. HOW DARE YOU! YOU'LL PAY FOR THIS! DO YOU HEAR ME JADEITE!? I WILL KILL YOU!" screamed Sora, as the anger washed over him like a huge tidal wave.
"Sora, you gotta calm down!" called Rei.
"Revenge won't bring him back!" added Usagi.
"I don't care, Sailor Moon! He needs to die, and Tuxedo Mask will have vengeance!" Sora replied, enraged at letting someone he knew be struck down.
That's it, Sora! Feed your anger! Feed your hatred! And show them that vengeance is far stronger than justice! These girls need someone like you to avenge his death! So come at me with all of that hatred!" Jadeite said, goading him even further.
"WIth pleasure!" Sora said in an unhinged tone, but it didn't sound anything like him at all.
It was darker, malevolent, prideful, and menacing. But Ventus knew it all too well. He knew that voice belonged to Vanitas, and he had slowly begun to take control of Sora.
"There's no way that Sora would ever fight for vengeance on our behalf! So let's help him out!" suggested Rei.
"You got that right! Sora told us about how he helped Mulan become the hero of China!" agreed Ami.
"Lets quell that darkness in Sora's heart!" declared Usagi.
"All right, let's show that jerk that men and women can work together!" they said together.
"Ha, enough of this! Come at me Sora!" shouted Jadeite.
But Sora suddenly snapped out of his angry trance.
"No! I won't compromise who I am for the sake of revenge! Because if I did, Sailor Moon would have no choice but to condemn me of my actions!" Sora said, as he banished the darkness in his heart.
"Then you will die along with these ungrateful blights!" roared Jadeite.
He sent a stronger burst of darkness at the planes, and made them move towards his foes.
"You guys split up! I'll keep Jadeite busy!" Sora called to his allies.
"You heard the man, let's go!" agreed Rei.
As they ran, Luna realized that Sora had a plan.
"If Sora says he's gonna distract Jadeite, then you guys should use that to your advantage!" she said to them.
"Luna's right, we have to focus," agreed Ami.
"Let's all combine our powers," said Rei.
"Yeah, and kick Jadeite's butt!" smirked Usagi.
"We'll help you guys out too," Riku said.
"Cause we're not just friends of both you girls and Sora, we are a family!" Terra said in agreement.
"And as a family, our hearts are one!" added Aqua.
"And since we're all in agreement, one of us should be the decoy," said Rei.
"What, why one of us?" asked Usagi who was startled.
"Just follow our lead!" said Roxas.
"Alright guys, let's show that bozo how it's done!" smirked Axel.
Ami nodded, and unleashed a bubble spray to set up a temporary fog bank. Then Usagi, Roxas, Axel and Xion, all ran off with the plane behind him. At the same time they did, Roxas began hacking his way through the Heartless that tried to slow them down.
"Give me a break, you guys!" she wailed, as the plane kept rolling after her.
"Where have the rest of them gone?" Jadeite asked as he looked around.
"Right here!" Ami, Riku, Mickey, Donald and Goofy said.
"I'll end you all!" he snarled angrily, sending another plane towards them.
"Not this time!" replied Riku, as they scattered in all directions.
But Jadeite hadn't anticipated Rei's sneak attack as she placed an exorcism tablet on his back.
"You can't escape from me!" he said with evil triumph in his eyes.
"We don't need to!" replied Sora.
"Then perish!" roared Jadeite.
But to his shock, he noticed both planes turning towards him, making him run right smack into the assembled heroes of light.
"This is the end of you, Jadeite!" Terra said.
"You've underestimated us for the last time! We don't just cry when we're faced with serious problems!" agreed Sailor Moon.
"I don't understand! Why aren't my mental powers working!?" he said in fury.
"Because you can't turn us against each other!" replied Sailor Mars.
"You've fallen victim to our own trap! We'll never be fooled by you!" agreed Sailor Mercury.
"Now you're gonna pay for your countless evil deeds! So on behalf of the moon, We sentence you to death!" Sailor Moon said.
Then she removed her tiara and flung it towards Jadeite, who barely evaded it. As he did so, the plane was now closing in on him as he screamed in anguish and terror.
"That's enough, for now. But next time we meet, you will perish by my sword," Sephiroth said, as he turned and vanished into the dark corridor.
As he did, Queen Beryl saw him emerge with Jadeite who was badly wounded, pleading for him to attain another chance to best them after he healed.
"Pathetic fool, you had the nerve to run back here to me!?" Beryl said furiously.
"Queen Beryl, I've discovered the true Identities of the Sailor Guardians," Jadeite tried to say.
But Sephiroth plunged Masamune through him from behind and held him up, making Pete flinch.
"Ouch," he whispered.
"So you did, but your cowardice has only made Queen Beryl disappointed," he said, flinging him towards Queen Beryl's throne.
'Sephiroth, why!?" he asked in desperation.
"As for your punishment in failing Queen Beryl for the last time, I hope you are prepared to be turned into a Heartless," sneered Maleficent.
Raising her scepter above her head, she cast a powerful spell upon him that made Jadeite scream in pain and agony. Then his heart left his body, and soon turned into an emblem Heartless called a Soldier.
"Very well done, Maleficent. We shall let this serve as an example to all who would dare fail us for the last time," Beryl said with an evil smile.
Then she glanced ahead of her.
"Nephrite, you will carry out my next plan," Beryl said.
"Jadeite was incompetent. But you can count on me," replied the dark haired warlord from the shadows.
"Then let us now discuss our next plan," suggested Maleficent, as the Heartless Jadeite turned into lumbered away with her.
"My poor Tuxedo Mask," sobbed Usagi.
The others nodded sympathetically to her.
"Everyone, we can't stay here forever. It's sad, but we have to accept it," said Luna.
"Hold on, I can still sense his light," Sora said to them.
"Wait, you do?" Usagi asked earnestly.
"Yeah," replied Sora.
"Thanks for your concern," Tuxedo Mask said, making everyone turn around.
There was Tuxedo Mask standing without a scratch on his person.
"Guess it's gonna take more than that to take you down," Sora said.
"Hey, you sounded like Teddy Roosevelt," Ami said.
"And the way you said it, makes it a strong fact," added the caped crusader.
"I'm glad, but Tuxedo Mask, tell me something, why do you always come and risk your life to come and save us?" asked Ami.
"I bet that I'd know, it's because you love me. That's why. Isn't that right?" Usagi asked as well, making Sora laugh sheepishly as the others glared at her.
"Tell us who you really are," said Rei.
"Now hold on girls. You can't just ask someone to reveal their secret to you, it'd be too much for them to bear," said Sora.
"Sora's right, I can't reveal what I look like yet, but listen carefully everyone, cherish the bond that exists between all of you," Tuxedo Mask said.
"Right. see ya," Sora said to him.
"You too," replied the caped crusader.
Then he parted ways with them, as Sora, Usagi, and their friends watched him disappear into the moonlit sky.
"May our hearts be our guiding key," murmured Sora.
