A missing limb- part 2
Dutchwriter asked for a oneshot of a sequel to Ch2948 "A missing limb" where Snow helps Emma do all the things she wants to but can't quite manage yet.
Emma didn't fully appreciate everything that she had previously relied on having both legs to do. Not until she would no longer have the luxury of having both. Emma had always been such an independent person, life had made her that way. So, until she had adapted to life with a prosthetic leg, she was coping with needing someone to support her do some of the most basic things. Add onto that her parents' farmhouse still needed a few adaptions to help Emma get back on track. She needed help getting up the stairs, moving around town now that she couldn't drive, getting out of the bath was still tricky. Emma hated herself for it, but she was reliant on the help of others for the time being.
Snow wasn't enjoying it much either. She knew how frustrated her daughter was. She was shutting herself right down. It was her only coping mechanism for this. She pretended like it wasn't happening. Snow wanted Emma to be ok again. She couldn't give her daughter her leg back, but she could build her up again. Emma was a strong woman. She would bounce back from this, however difficult it was right now. Snow, and Charming, would be there for every hurdle this new challenge brought them. Together, they would get through this.
