Easter Egg hunt
A guest asked for a oneshot of the Charmings setting up an Easter egg hunt for little Emma.
Happy Easter Sunday, everyone!
"Snow, they're kids, nobody's tall enough to find one up there." Charming said, laughing quietly at Snow's attempt to hide an Easter egg for Emma halfway up a tree in the garden.
"Emma's her mother's daughter though, a bandit princess in the making. She might get it." Snow defended her decision. This was one of their favourite times as a parent. They loved Emma's excitement as she roamed the palace gardens searching for the little eggs Geppetto had so lovingly carved for all the children of the kingdom. They loved seeing Emma skip around with all her friends, laughing like she didn't have a care in the world. As a princess, she was often excluded from the regular things most children get to do. She didn't get to go out to play in the streets with her friends like her father had done. Or go to her friends houses for sleepovers without large amounts of security in place. Emma never complained, but still, her parents realised she was beginning to feel different from her peers. Today, however, Emma was allowed to just be a normal little girl. She could have an Easter egg hunt with all the kingdom's children and be treated no differently than any of them. The Easter Bunny didn't differentiate for her. It was definitely something the parents cherished.
