Maleficent's boy- part 2

Well, it's another Sahara dry run for me just now. So I'm taking the opportunity to write a sequel for a chapter I always wanted a sequel for: Maleficent's boy, Ch2898. If after this the Sahara dry run continues I promise I'll take the hint haha, but can you blame me for keeping trying when I'm soooooo close to 3000 chapters? ;)

Charming might know better than to test his mother's temper, but Emma did not. She didn't like being enclosed. Her time in prison had left her with lasting claustrophobia. She stood close by her family, still holding Neal, pacing up and down. About half an hour after Charming woke up, Neal started fussing in Emma's arms. She knew exactly why. He hadn't been fed since they'd been taken.

"He's hungry." Emma snapped, not even looking at Maleficent. Emma grew irritated after Maleficent seemed not to react. "Did you not hear me?" Emma snapped, stopping and facing Maleficent. "Neal is hungry."

"Oh yes dear, I heard you, I just don't respond to orders." She responded coolly. Emma bit her lip, trying to keep cool. Charming knew he had to step in, lest things escalate.

"Emma's right, mother. Neal needs fed. That means he needs Snow." Charming pointed out.

"No, it doesn't." With a small green poof, a bottle was in Maleficent's hand. She began to approach Emma and Neal. Emma recoiled, curling Neal closer into her whilst pulling Henry behind her. Charming sprang up and stood in front of them all.

"No, mother. You're not touching my son, and he's certainly not drinking whatever that concoction is." Charming told her firmly. For all he knew, whatever was in the bottle would allow Neal to access his dragon half more fully. Maleficent rolled her eyes.

"Honestly. You truly think I would harm my own grandson?" Maleficent asked, exasperated. Charming didn't answer. Maleficent let out a sharp breath, her nostrils flaring.

"Fine. You be in charge of letting the infant starve."

"We're not the ones denying him access to his mother." Emma growled under her breath. Charming shot her a look. That wouldn't work, not with his mother. Maleficent chose to ignore her.

"Neal won't be the only one who starves if you refuse the food I offer you." Maleficent's eyes lingered over Henry and Emma, trying to guilt trip Charming. Emma was sick of pussyfooting around her. Enough was enough. Neal wasn't going to starve, not on her watch.

"Here." She said, handing Neal over to her dad. He took the baby, but before her could ask Emma what she was about to do (and convince her not to) Emma had marched over to the exit of the cave. "I am the damn Saviour. No stupid dragon is keeping my family held hostage."

"Emma, no!" But before Charming could stop her, Emma had tried to break whatever spell Maleficent was using on the door. There was a loud bang and Emma was blasted backwards. She hit the ground hard. Charming and Henry were instantly by her side.

"Emma?" Charming asked, checking her over. Emma pushed herself up on her elbows, the room spinning.

"Mom, are you ok?" Henry asked, petrified.

"I'm fine kid." Emma told him groggily. "I think I'll get it this time…"

"Emma, no." Charming told her firmly. "Her magic is powerful, and yours is still new. We'll find a way out of here, but not one that means you get hurt."

"Listen to your elders, dear. You're not getting out of here. You might be a Saviour, but my magic is still stronger. Some things you can only gain through experience. Now if you'll stop being stubborn and take the food you're being given, we'll get along just fine. We can be happy here." Maleficent came closer, Charming held his family that little bit tighter. "Emma, I can give you everything you've ever wanted, everything you've ever deserved. I can be the dotting grandmother to you, to Neal, to Henry. You should have grown up a princess. Your idiotic mother forced your father to put you through that damn wardrobe and put a stop to all that…"

"Don't you dare call my mother an idiot." Emma snarled, getting up to defend her mother. Within an instant, Maleficent had Emma pinned up through her magic. Emma felt the air leaving her lungs.

"Your parents might be soft disciplinarians, don't make the mistake of assuming I am." She said coolly. Charming gave Neal to Henry before launching himself at his mother, forcing her to break her spell. Screw whatever his mother did to him, nobody laid a finger on his daughter. Emma fell to her knees, gasping for breath. Maleficent's eyes narrowed at her son's insolence. She opened her mouth to set him straight, but before she could say anything an arrow went whizzing by her ear.
