AN: Sorry it's a bit late, I was away for the weekend! Thank you for the reviews, I do try to reply to all of them although I'm a complete scatterbrain :)

Eliana remained stable and asleep through the whole film and once she had woken up Dr Moore informed her and Gibbs that Dani and Emma would be around in 30 minutes to help with going for a walk. Eliana smiled, Gibbs presumed that she had been reading the book from Ziva and was beginning to understand some English. Gibbs rang Ziva and told her that they were going on a walk in 30 minutes, she arrived less than ten minutes later.

Eliana was impatiently waiting for the two nurses to come with a wheelchair, Ziva and Gibbs chuckled at how excited Lia was, they both hoped that a trip outside would raise Lia's spirits and determination to get better.

"Okay Eliana, are you ready?" Asked Dani, Lia nodded in response and made a move to sit up.

Gibbs and Ziva stopped Eliana and told her to wait for Dani and Emma to help, Lia was glaring daggers, unimpressed by having to wait any longer. Emma and Dani first explained that they needed to lay a sling underneath Eliana that would be attached to the lift to help move Eliana into the wheelchair.

Eliana's eyes widened a bit as she began to sit up due to the lifting process starting and she gagged as though she was about to throw up, she held it in but looked towards Gibbs for reassurance. He stepped forwards and took her hand, Eliana closed her eyes, she wanted to get out of the sling, the metal chains and floating in mid-air reminded her of the basement she was held in.

Emma continued lifting as quickly as she could whilst maintaining safety, she could see Eliana was uncomfortable. Dani, lined up the wheelchair and Eliana was slowly lowered into the chair, Ziva was shocked by the complex procedure but equally comforted by the fact that Dani and Emma made it look easy, Ziva hoped she would be able to learn and help Eliana too.

Finally, Eliana was in the wheelchair, the nurses changed her oxygen to a mobile tank and hooked the IV and NG bag to the wheelchair. Eliana was then given strict instruction to let someone know if she began to feel, dizzy, sick, in pain or tired, she nodded and looked eagerly to the door. Lia was wrapped in so many blankets that she could barely move, the weather was cold outside and no one wanted Eliana to catch a cold.

Gibbs pushed Eliana in the wheelchair whilst Ziva, Emma and Dani walked beside her. The two NCIS agents on protection detail accompanied the group one in front and one behind, carefully observing everyone and everything, no one wanted any more harm to come to Eliana. Once outside Eliana tried to signal that she wanted to stop but her arms were tangled in the blankets. Ziva noticed Lia trying to move her arms and asked what was wrong, Eliana turned her head to a secluded bench.

Ziva asked Eliana in Hebrew if she wanted to go and sit by the bench, she nodded in response. Gibbs noted that as progress, inside the hospital room Lia was never the first to communicate, she only responded if directly asked a question. The group settled by the bench, Dani took Lia's temperature and noted that it was a little lower than when they left the hospital room so added another blanket for good measure. Eliana didn't look happy about being swaddled in even more blankets.

Eliana sat peacefully with a small smile on her face, taking in the scene around her. No one else found anything remotely interesting but all were happy that Eliana seemed so settled after such a bad morning. After about 10 minutes Eliana's eyes began to drift, she was obviously tired and Emma decided it was time to head back to her bedroom.

Silent tears began to fall down Lia's face, Ziva knelt down in front of the wheelchair and rested her hands on Eliana's knees.

"I know you really enjoyed being outside today but we need to get you back inside for a rest before the speech and language therapist comes round. I am sure that it will not be long before we can bring you out for a walk again." Eliana sniffled and tried to wipe her tears but her hands were clumsy due to tiredness. Ziva wiped them for her and kissed her forehead before standing up.

They all headed back up to Eliana's room and once she was transferred back to the bed she fell fast asleep.

"Gibbs, I would like to use my comp time to take the rest of this week and next week off work to spend time with Eliana. She obviously prefers not being in the hospital and if I am here to help her all of the time I believe she will be able to leave sooner." Ziva was more telling Gibbs than asking, she had already made her mind up.

Gibbs nodded "That's fine Ziva, I could use my comp time too, I'm going to need to alter my house for when Lia is ready to come home. We could alternate who spends the day with Lia and we should be able to have one of us with her here every day for the next month."

Ziva agreed with Gibbs, she was pleased they were both of the mindset that the hospital was not the right place for Eliana. Gibbs then headed back to the office to speak to Vance about comp time for him and Ziva.

About an hour after Eliana had returned to her room, the speech and language therapist came around, today's session was mainly going to be assessing Lia's abilities and formulating a diagnosis. Eliana woke up as soon as her door was opened.

"Shalom Eliana, Shmee Sarah." Smiled the speech and language therapist. She explained the aims of the session and got straight to work. The session involved many different activities that required Eliana to both speak and write answers.

Sarah was aware that Eliana had the physical capability to speak after inspecting her vocal cords and reading her file which explained how Eliana used to talk but could only say a handful of words.

"Eliana, did your father, Eli, ever take you to see someone like me?" Asked Sarah

Eliana shook her head and Sarah looked on sadly at the girl in front of her, there was no wonder she had both speech and language delays. Sarah then began to ask Eliana if she could name the object in the pictures, Eliana would nod her head saying she knew but could never get the words out to actually say it.

Sarah also tested Eliana's receptive language skills, asking Eliana simple questions such as "do I have hair?" then progressing to more complex questions. Thankfully Eliana, seemed to perfectly understand what was being said to her as she also managed to respond to requests such as "please can you touch your nose".

Sarah then asked Eliana to copy the noises she was making. Eliana looked down at her hands, not wanting to disobey Sarah but not wanting to disobey her father. Eli had always told her that not being able to speak was what made her useful, he had used to hurt Eliana if she tried to speak or even just make noises.

"Eliana, can you copy me? I want you to make an 'ooooo' sound." Sarah pressed Eliana but it was too much and she scrunched up her fists and began hitting her head with them again. Ziva rushed in this time and whispered to Eliana in Hebrew whilst holding her hands. The former Mossad officer was glaring daggers at the speech therapist who caused her little sisters upset. Eliana began hyperventilating and her machine began beeping.

Eliana stopped hitting her head and instead grasped Ziva's hand so tight it hurt, the nurses rushed in asking what had happened, Sarah explained. Dani paged Dr Monroe and turned up Eliana's oxygen, this did nothing to help Eliana who was getting paler by the second. Ziva had now sat next to Eliana on the bed and wrapped an arm around Lia's shoulders trying to comfort the upset teen.

Dr Monroe entered the room and was quickly updated by Dani. "Get that oxygen off her now! She's having a panic attack, she needs more CO2 in her body not less. Let's push 2mg Lorazepam to help her calm down." The doctor also reeled off orders for someone to page Dr King, the psychiatrist who was going to come by and start working with Eliana.

Eliana was no closer to calming down so Ziva enveloped Lia into a hug, gently moving Lia so she was resting on Ziva, careful not to snag any of the wires. Ziva rocked Eliana and began humming quietly in her ear. Gradually Eliana's breathing rate slowed, and her carbon dioxide levels increased to a normal level. After 5 minutes of quiet sniffling Eliana's eyes began to close, Ziva smiled when she realised Lia had fallen asleep.

Almost as soon as Lia fell asleep Dr King entered the room, she smiled at the two sisters, Ziva put a finger to her lips, not wanting Eliana to be woken up. The young psychiatrist nodded and mouthed that she would come back later. Ziva and Eliana stayed in the same position until Gibbs came back, again Ziva put a finger to her lips signalling Gibbs to be quiet.

Eliana began to stir when Dani came in to do her vitals, Ziva was glaring daggers again but this time towards the nurse who had elongated Lia's panic attack. Gibbs gave Ziva a questioning look but didn't press for information in the hope that Eliana wouldn't wake up fully.

"Miss David, I need you to move, you shouldn't be in bed with Eliana and I can't do her vitals reliably with you in bed." Said Dani.

"Special Agent Da-veehd. And no I will not move, you caused her panic attack to get worse I don't want to see you in here again." Ziva kept her voice down but Dani raised hers in response.

"I am the professional here, you need to get out of her bed."

Ziva carefully slid out of Eliana's bed and moved towards Dani, she grabbed her hand and pinched harshly between the first and second metacarpal. Dani yelped in pain and Gibbs grabbed Ziva's hand and pulled her away.

"Get out," Gibbs whispered to Dani in a low voice before leading Ziva out of the room, thankfully Eliana had remained asleep.

"Ziver, calm down! Go speak to Dr Moore about Dani, don't assault her and land yourself a criminal record" exclaimed Gibbs, he asked Ziva to explain and he too was planning to get Dani taken off Eliana's team after he had heard about today's incident.

Once Ziva had calmed down, Gibbs informed her that the rest of the team had also offered to use their comp time to help out with Eliana and that Tony was on his way with the English version of Bambi. Ziva smiled to herself secretly hoping that her and Tony would have a repeat of last night but make it an official date.
