Chapter 41
I Won't Run Away from Love Anymore: Ami vs. Mamoru
The sun glared down on the African Savanna, washing the land with its intense rays of light, as Reika Nishimura was now studying ancient hieroglyphs on the rocks and taking notes. Suddenly a shadow fell over her, and Reika looked up to see Endymion dressed in his royal raiments.
"I've been looking for you, Miss Nishimura. But, maybe I'd prefer it if I called you Rikoukeidar, since you were one of the seven Great Monsters," he said.
"What are you talking about?" asked Reika.
But the dark prince pulled out the Dark Crystal and sealed her inside of it, a wicked grin on his face. All that remained of Reika was her hat, as Endymion grinned with evil pride. He had managed to capture the priest, Rhett Butler, and Game Machine Joe. Now he needed to find the last three, so that he could fulfill Queen Beryl's true objective.
Inside her house, Ami Mizuno soon went to the ringing phone and picked it up.
"Hello, this is Ami," she said.
"Hey Ami, it's me, Ryo Urawa," came a familiar voice.
"Oh, hi Ryo, it's great to hear from you," smiled Ami.
"Ami, are you anywhere near a TV?" asked Ryo.
"Yep, I've got one right in front of me," replied Ami.
"You need to turn it on, right now," said Ryo.
Ami did so, and saw a news flash about Yumemi Yumeno going missing, making her afraid.
"The woman that you're looking at is Miss Yumemi Yumeno. She's the fifth of the former seven Great Monsters to go missing," explained Ryo.
"What are you saying, Ryo?" asked Ami.
"I'm saying the next target could be me, or your friend, Rei's grandfather. You have to believe me, I used my precognitive powers to figure it out," replied Ryo.
"Where are you? If you're here in town, I can come protect you, right now," said Ami.
"No, you need to stay away from me, so you won't be in danger. You should go and protect Rei's grandfather instead. Don't worry, I can handle things on my own. You must stop the Dark Kingdom's plans at all costs, or terrible things will happen. Go," Ryo assured her.
Ami was about to press him for more information, when Ryo hung up the phone, making her even more worried. Then he stood on the snow covered streets of Juban waiting for Mamoru, as he walked off into the distance, just as Makoto passed him.
"Hold on, wasn't that…?" she asked.
She glanced behind her to see Ryo walking into the crowd when her communicator started blinking.
"This is Makoto," she said.
"Mako, something's come up. Meet us at the Hikawa Shrine, right away," Luna said desperately.
"Got it," replied Makoto, and clicked off the transmitter.
She took one last look, and raced off to the Hikawa Shrine. In the Dark Kingdom's fortress, Kunzite stepped forth towards Queen Beryl on her dark throne, with Maleficent at her side.
"What brings you here, Kunzite?" asked the dark fairy.
"My friends, I'm curious about what Endymion is doing," replied Kunzite.
"Well you've come to the right experts, Big K, so ask us what you want," said Pete.
"Why is he trying to retransform humans into the seven great monsters, right now?" he asked.
Queen Beryl and Sephiroth chuckled malevolently.
"As far as you're concerned, they had all been purified and restored to their original selves, thanks to Sailor Moon's Moon Healing Escalation. But they still carry remnants of that power within them, so Queen Beryl gave him the power of darkness and the Dark Crystal to resurrect them," answered the One-Winged Angel.
"But why go through all that trouble? They were defeated by the Sailor Guardians and their allies, the Guardians of Kingdom Hearts, which makes them useless," countered Kunzite.
"Well here's what you don't know. Once the seven are together, they will combine as one, to become the largest and most powerful monster ever to be seen. And when that happens, we will finally be able to put an end to those cursed fools, once and for all," explained Beryl.
"Something I've been striving to do. So why would you assign this important task to Endymion and not to me?" demanded Kunzite.
"You dare to question Queen Beryl's choice, you fool!? Are so filled with grief over Zoisite's transformation into a Heartless, that you wish to share his and Jadeite's fate!?" snapped Maleficent.
"Not at all, Maleficent, but…" replied Kunzite, only for Sephiroth to hold Masamune near at the back of his neck.
"I'd suggest you know your place until then, or else you'll give Queen Beryl the perfect excuse to let Maleficent do that. For now, you will stay back and observe how Endymion fares in this task," he warned.
"Fine," sighed Kunzite, feeling irritated.
"I'll return shortly once Endymion succeeds or fails in this task, Queen Beryl," Sephiroth said, and disappeared into the dark corridor.
At Hikawa Shrine, Rei's grandfather and Yuuichirou were busily shoveling the snow aside to clear a path for everyone to come and go, while Rei spoke with her friends in an important meeting.
"So tell us, Ami. is your friend Ryo's cognitive power really accurate?" asked Minako.
"Yes, it's extremely accurate," replied Ami.
"Hey, you'd better believe that if the Dark Kingdom is rounding up the seven great monsters, that could only mean one thing. They're planning something awful," said Artemis.
"Yeah, they managed to grab five of them, which leaves Ryo and Rei's Grandfather," added Sora.
"Okay Ami, let's go. Come on," said Makoto.
"Huh, where are we going?" asked Ami.
"I thought it was obvious. We have to go look for Ryo, and give him protection," she replied.
"But we don't even know he's in town, or where to begin to look for him," said Ami.
"Don't worry, Ami. You can still trace the connection in your heart, and that will help you find him," Sora assured her.
"Yeah, that's right. We just have to walk around. We'll run into him," added Makoto.
"And I'll go with you guys," piped in Sora.
"Wait a second, this isn't what we agreed upon!" protested Rei.
"Agreement, Shmagreement! I'm going with them for three reasons. 1: If Ryo is in trouble, it's because he shares your ability at foretelling what's about to happen to him or anyone else. But sometimes those premonitions may turn out to be false, as you once said, Rei. 2: Whatever the Dark Kingdom's plotting to do with the seven former Great Monsters, might lead to something terrible happening to not just us, but to the people in the city. If that's true, they could use their powers to turn everyone and everything into Heartless at will, and even use Usagi and Rei's infighting to their advantage to turn them into Heartless as well. And 3: if all of you got hurt because of them, I might lose myself to darkness, and Vanitas would break free from my heart. Because without your guiding light, I'd be lost in darkness forever, with no hope of being refreshed by Sailor Moon's Moon Healing Escalation attack, and the Silver Crystal would be used to free an even greater darkness that could wipe out not just this world, but the other worlds as well. So, you see, that's something you'd neither forgive nor forget," explained Sora.
Everyone looked sorrowfully at Sora, but Minako slowly stood up, and gently placed her lips on Sora's sharing a passionate kiss with him, which did make everyone nod their understanding of how he felt.
"Listen, I know you're scared, Sora. We all are. But both Luna and Artemis have told us many times that fear is and always will be our enemy. But, here's one thing that neither of them would expect through their precognition. We'll always be in your heart, calling out to you, so that we can keep Vanitas from wreaking his vengeance on what you cherish. And I know that Usagi would still use her Moon Healing Escalation to bring you back to normal," she said.
"That's right, but there's also another philosophy that we honor with our hearts: The face of our enemy is our own," added Rei.
"Yeah, even Mako said that you taught Reika something called Hakuna Matata," smiled Usagi.
"Ha-who-na Ma-wha-ta?" asked Luna.
"Hakuna Matata, Luna. It's a special philosophy Sora told us about, meaning no worries," corrected Artemis.
"That's right, without Hakuna Matata, all we'd do is worry about what's gonna happen to us, and drown in our own fear," said Ami.
"If that's the case, the rest of us will take care of Rei's grandfather while you go with them, Sora. Be sure to use your communicators to give us a shout if there's trouble," added Riku.
Ami and Makoto nodded in acknowledgement.
"Thank you everyone," replied Sora.
He turned to Ami and Makoto.
"Let's go," he said, and they walked out of the shrine.
"We'll take care of Sora," Makoto assured them, as she made a last second stop.
Once she was gone, Usagi began crying her eyes out at what she was seeing.
"What is it? What's the matter, Usagi?" asked Luna.
"I feel so sorry for the hero of this Manga!" she cried.
"Look, Usagi, sometimes we cry whenever something bad is happening, or is about to happen. But the characters we see or hear in comic books, video games, TV shows, movies, or audioplays are fictional. Sometimes they may be real, and sometimes they are animated. But still you gotta make sure to ask Rei for permission to read her Manga, or she'll revoke your Hikawa Shrine visiting hours, indefinitely," explained Axel.
"Geez, I may be difficult with Usagi, but I'd never be that harsh on her," sighed Rei.
"Well, what do you think you'd want me to do, threaten Usagi to never come to Hikawa Shrine again!?" demanded Axel.
"No, I'd never do that!" protested Rei.
"Well listen here, Miss Hino! Cause if you and Usagi start to have at it again, I might have to ask Master Yen Sid to give the two of you a serious talking to! Got it memorized!?" countered Axel.
"Okay, okay, okay, I get it Axel! You don't need to take your frustration out on me, the same way I'd take it out on Usagi!" Rei said in defeat.
"Wow, who'd have thought that Axel and Rei are very much alike," Luna said to Artemis.
"Yeah, those two have anger issues," replied Artemis, and they sighed in disappointment, until they heard Terra shouting, "Cease hostilities, this instant! Our enemy is the darkness, not each other!" in a fierce tone, putting them in their place as he radiated with darkness.
Out on the streets of Juban, at a causeway for pedestrians, Mamoru stood near the crossing zone, waiting for Ryo to appear.
"I'm close, He must be somewhere right around here," he said, just as the traffic light turned green.
As the people walked across the street, Mamoru spotted Ryo, trying to keep a low profile and approached him.
"Ryo Urawa, I presume?" he asked.
"And you're Endymion from the Dark Kingdom," replied Ryo.
"I see your pregontive skills prepared you for my arrival. That's very impressive, Mr. Urawa, so you must know what's next. What your immediate future holds for you," said Mamrou.
"I do, I've been there before. You plan on drawing me into the dark crystal," remarked Ryo.
"That's very good, now don't resist. Come with me and we'll get this over with quickly," smirked Mamoru, resting his hand on the boy's shoulder.
"Sorry, but I'm afraid I can't accommodate you. You see, someone once told me that my future is something that I create for myself," protested Ryo.
"Hmph, so you say, boy. You can try to fight your destiny all you like, but in the end, destiny comes all the same," chuckled Sephroth, as the people scattered in all directions when they saw his sword.
Without a second thought, Ryo ran past Sephiroth, as several other people bravely began to approach Mamoru for helping a dangerous serial killer, but he pushed past them and followed Ryo. at the same time, Sora, Ami, and Makoto, walked silently through the snow covered streets of Juban, looking for Ryo, when Ami hung her head.
"Let's go back. I feel sorry for Ryo, but there's not much we can do for him at this point. It's probably too late," she said.
"We can't give up on Ryo, no matter what, Ami. No matter what your relation is with him, you can't just give up on him that easily. Believe me, I don't care if he's your friend or boyfriend, but denying what's in your heart, will only hurt you. I care about you the same way Ryo cares about you, even if we're friends who've met each other for the first time. And while we've got a job to do, that's more important than anything else, you can't deny your true feelings for people. All it would do is leave you feeling empty and alone with regret and shame tearing you apart, and leaving you with nothing. Falling in love with someone comes naturally as time passes for us, no matter our age. So don't even think of running away from how you feel about him. Luke Skywalker once told me about what happened to his father Anakin. He was once a Jedi Knight who fought in a war, despite how he felt for his mother, Padme Naberrie. Even after they married, his bond with her led to him having nightmarish visions of what would happen to her, making him choose the darkness so that he could stop them from coming true. But even after becoming Darth Vader, he didn't try to alter what was to happen, but instead, made it happen, when he severed his bond with Padme, and let her die after he and Leia were born. But like Luna and Artemis said, you can't be weighed down by the fear of telling him how you feel about him, because Honesty is the best policy, even if the truth hurts," explained Sora.
"Sora's right, Ami. Your greatest enemy is not just fear, it's yourself," added Makoto.
"I understand," sighed Ami.
Suddenly, the three of them spotted Ryo running through a crowd of people.
"Look, there he is," gasped Ami.
"All right, let's go!" added Sora.
In a rush, they managed to find him running for his life, even after Ami and Makoto became Sailors Mercury and Jupiter.
"Ami, I mean, Sailor Mercury," he said.
"Hey, Ryo," replied Sora.
"How's it going? You all right?" asked Ami.
"Don't worry, we're here, so you'll be safe now. But, we decided to let Sora tag along with us, due to his fear of becoming this Vanitas," added Makoto.
"Vanitas?" asked Ryo.
"He used to be Ventus''Dark Side, but after Their hearts came back together and became one, Vanitas' heart merged with mine, even after I returned Ven's heart to his home with the Power of Waking. He's the piece Ventus needed when he was taken away, and I'm the piece he needed in order to be complete again. That's why he and I look alike when my heart interacted with his," explained Sora.
"Oh how reassuring to know that," Endymion's voice said as he laughed malevolently.
But his laughter was joined by something darker and closer than Sailor Jupiter expected. All four of them saw Endymion dropping down with another individual that Sora knew all too well.
"Mamoru," the two girls said.
"And Sephiroth, the One-Winged Angel," Sora added darkly.
"Mamoru Chiba was weak, Endymion destroyed him," replied Sephiroth.
"That's right, and now that he's gone, I will wipe you all out, right here! Right now!" added Endymion.
"Fine then, let's have at it, Endymion!" Sora said, as he and Sailors Jupiter and Mercury prepared for battle.
"Sailor Mercury, take Ryo away from here, we've got this," Sailor Jupiter said.
"No, I'm fighting with you," protested Sailor Mercury.
"This isn't a discussion, Mercury, now go get Ryo to safety! And leave these guys to us!" countered Sora.
Ami nodded, and gently led Ryo out of the alleyway, while Sora and Sailor Jupiter stood their ground before the two swordsmen.
Endymion, Sephiroth, we really don't want to have to fight you. But, since we must, we won't hold back. we promise you," Sailor Jupiter said, preparing for battle.
"That's fine by me, but are you sure you can handle us all by yourselves?" asked Endymion.
"We won't know unless we try," replied Sora.
Using her Supreme Thunder attack, she was able to keep Endymion occupied, while Sora and Sephiroth charged at each other to start their deadly duel.
"Oh we're so scared," Endymion said sarcastically.
Meanwhile, Sailor Mercury and Ryo were running as fast as their legs would carry them, as she contacted her friends through her supercomputer.
"This is Sailor Mercury! Ryo is safe, He's with me right now!" she said.
"Excellent work, Sailor Mercury, but where are Sora and Sailor Juptier?" asked Aqua.
"Those two are fighting Mamoru and another swordsman who's called Sephiroth, to buy us time to get away," replied Sailor Mercury.
"Did she say Mamoru!?" asked Rei, abandoning her struggle with the manga in Usagi's hands.
"Are those two fighting those guys by themselves?" Minako asked as well.
"Not sure, but we need all of you, right away. Sora's Keyblade, and Sailor Moon's Moon Stick might be the only hope to return Mamoru to the way he was," replied Sailor Mercury.
"Okay… we'll meet you soon," said Riku.
He then turned to the others.
"Sora and the others need our help, Usagi. We'll follow our hearts to Sailor Mercury, first, so follow us," he said.
Usagi shook her head, shaking off the dizziness.
"Okay, lead the way Riku!" she said.
Then together they raced off to find Sailor Mercury and Ryo. Just as they did, Sailor Jupiter and Sora fought furiously against Endymion and Sephiroth, but the brunette thunder guardian was tiring out, as her opponent dodged and blocked her punches.
"What's the matter, have you worn yourself out already?" he sneered.
"I'm not quite done yet!" she replied.
"I admire your fighting spirit, but I don't have time to play games with you all day. Let me show you what a real attack should look like," said Endymion.
Then he lunged at Sailor Jupiter forcing her back, as his frenzied attacks made her crash into a garbage can, granting Sephiorth the perfect chance to leap over Sora, and land near her. He then held Masamune near her throat, as Endymion approached her and tried to strike her, but his fist only stopped near her face. He pulled it back slowly, and walked off.
"Just as I thought, you're way out of your league. Look me up when you're an even match, maybe I'll come out to play," he said, as he disappeared into the alleyway, with Makoto glaring at him.
"I'll see you again, Sailor Jupter. If you believe you're as strong as Cloud is," added the One-Winged Angel, who also disappeared into the dark corridor.
Sora sensing Sailor Jupiter's distress, quickly raced after Sailor Mercury and Ryo, letting his heart guide him to them. It took him a few minutes to follow their footsteps, but at last he found them near a traffic light.
"Sailor Mercury, do me a favor. Look, come on, run this way," Ryo said, pointing towards the fairground.
"I'm freezing, and I don't think that's good for my complexion!" complained Usagi, as she ran in another part of town.
"Worry about your complexion and keep running, UsagI!" quacked Donald.
"Oh, yeah, easy for you to say," replied Usagi, but she slipped on the icy pavement and landed hard on it, just in time for Sailor Jupiter to arrive.
"Sailor Jupiter, thank goodness we got here in time," said Luna.
"If you're here, then that must mean," added Goofy.
"Yeah, Sora's gone to find Sailor Mercury and Ryo. By the way, did any chance Endymion ran past this way?" she asked.
"Haven't seen him," replied Mickey.
"Same here," added Luna.
"I do, he's gonna head to the amusement park where Sora's with Ryo and Sailor Mercury," said Terra, who showed up.
"Okay, lead the way," replied Sailor Jupiter.
Inside 10BanLand, Sora, Sailor Mercury, and Ryo walked cautiously towards the ferris wheel, when Ami glanced at her former classmate.
"Ryo, what's up? Why did you want to come in here?" she asked.
"Sorry, it's just that I've always wanted to go to an amusement park with you," replied Ryo.
"That's really sweet," said Ami.
"Now, I have no regrets. My dream has been fulfilled, but it would be best if we split up, right away," Ryo said somberly.
"No Ryo, there's no way Sailor Mercury and I will allow the Dark Kingdom to take your heart," argued Sora.
"Well I'm prepared to give up my life for them. I want Ami to be free of me, to fulfill her own mission. My life is no big loss, I wasn't human to begin with, but if giving my life can save the world, then I'll have accomplished something," countered Ryo.
Sora glanced at Ami who stepped past him and stopped.
"I believe we're two of a kind, always running away from something. Something we truly want, That's what Sora told me. He said I couldn't be held back by fear, and that I'd only hurt myself for denying my true feelings if I'd forsaken honesty," said Ami, remembering what Sora had said to her.
"But, Ami," Ryo tried to say.
"Don't speak Ryo, making a noble sacrifice to save yourself is understandable, but Honesty is an element of friendship. Don't you know what that meant to Ami? It gave her a new kind of strength. Hmph, maybe you should have kept some for yourself. I mean are you really gonna throw your happiness away? If you threw away your life now, it would leave an empty hole in their hearts, that could only be filled with shame and sorrow. So don't throw away your last chance! Remember what it was like before you met Ami?" Sora said in a new kind of tone.
Ryo's eyes suddenly lit up, when he heard Sora's words.
"It's time that we stop running away. No matter what the obstacle is, let's tackle it head on!" Ami said with renewed determination.
"Those are all truly admirable thoughts, Sailor Mercury," Endymion said as he emerged on the ferris wheel he started up.
Everyone looked up at him, but Sora readied his Keyblade.
'What is it that you want!?" demanded Sailor Mercury.
Outside of the theme park, Usagi, Luna, Mickey, Terra, and Sailor Jupiter all looked towards the now lit up ferris wheel.
"Look at that," she said.
"Come on, let's check it out," suggested Luna.
As they raced towards it, Endymion leaped down from his perch, and landed near them.
"Listen Mamoru, I'm not going to hesitate even a moment to fight you anymore! Prepare yourself!" Sailor Mercury said, earning a nod of respect from Sora.
"I look forward to it. I was waiting until the rest of your friends were drawn to the light of the ferris wheel, but I take it you don't need them to fight me," replied Endymion.
"Then let's have at it!" cried Sora, as Sailor Mercury prepared her Bubble Spray attack.
But the dark prince simply ignored it, and chased after Ryo.
"Hold on, I have one piece of business to take care of before I fight you!" he said.
Using the dark crystal, he began to absorb Ryo inside of it.
"Oh no, RYO!" gasped Sora and Sailor Mercury.
"GUYS!" cried Ryo, but he was soon absorbed into the crystal.
"Thanks for waiting," chuckled Endymion.
"MAMORU! You're gonna pay for this!" shouted Sora, the anger surging through his body causing an aura of darkness to surround him.
"Ah, Zoisite was right. You are the carrier of Vanitas," mused Endymion.
"You horrible monster! How could you!? I don't care if the Dark Kingdom forced you to do it! You're going to pay for what you've done! Douse yourself in water and repent!" cried Sailor Mercury, her eyes filled with tears of anger.
"Hah, if you're hoping to bring your boyfriend back here, you'll have to destroy this, the Dark Crystal. But of course that means you'll have to defeat me first to get your hands on it, so let's fight!" smirked Endymion.
Sora and Sailor Mercury prepared themselves as Endymion turned into Tuxedo Mask.
"You're not Tuxedo Mask anymore, you're just a pawn of the darkness!" Sora said furiously, as he charged at him.
"Well, I want you to know that because I respect you, I won't hold back," countered the caped crusader.
Knowing that she stood no chance, Sailor Mercury knew that Sora was right, and joined him in battle. She tried to unleash another Bubble Spray, but Endymion deflected only for her to snatch the crystal from his hand.
"Why, you deceptive fools!" he snapped.
"No more deceptive than you! Now, I have a mission I need to get done first as well!" countered the Water Guardian.
With a mighty swing of her arm, she smashed the Dark Crystal to pieces, and the people inside of it were finally freed, just as Sailor Moon and her friends arrived on the scene.
"You're all right," Sailor Mercury said, a wave of relief washing over her.
"Yep, and now Sailor Mercury has embraced her true self," added Sora.
"Yeah, congratulations Sailor Mercury!" cheered Sailor Jupiter.
"Thanks, but I couldn't have done it without Sora's advice," replied Sailor Mercury.
"Hey, gimme a break, Ami," said Sora, earning a giggle from her.
"Hey, looks like you single handedly crushed the Dark Kingdom's plan!" said Sailor Moon, who saw everyone that Endymion had captured.
"Yeah, Luna and Artemis would be proud of you, Sailor Mercury," added Riku, who had arrived.
"You guys, listen, right now you've got to turn Tuxedo Mask back to normal," said Sailor Mercury.
"Not if I get rid of all of you, first!" growled Endymion.
"From now on, when you're in the mood to recycle, only recycle cans! Don't try to recycle people who are living peaceful lives, it's unforgivable! On behalf of the moon, I'm punishing you!" Sailor Moon said furiously.
The others nodded in agreement, and engaged Endymion in battle. But this time Sailor Jupiter decided the time had come for payback, and unleashed her Supreme Thunder attack at an even greater force of will power, followed by a Bubble Spray from Sailor Mercury. Both attacks stopped Endymion in his tracks.
"Now, Sailor Moon, you gotta be quick!" said Luna.
"Yeah, let's go!" added Sora.
Sailor Moon nodded as Sora stood next to her.
"Mamoru Chiba, it's time for you to face the light!" he cried.
"Moon Healing Escalation!" called Sailor Moon.
Their combined powers surged into Endymion, making the memories of what transpired before surge into him.
"It looks like it's working to a degree, but he needs more. Increase the energy you two!" said Luna.
Sora and Sailor Moon nodded, channelling their will power into their combined strength.
"My friends are my power!" cried Sora.
At last, Mamoru was freed from the darkness.
"You did it! You brought the real Mamoru back!" cheered Sailor Jupiter.
"Thank goodness," added Sailor Mercury.
Sailor Moon dropped to the ground as Luna congratulated her, but she even praised Sora for helping her. Unfortunately, wisps of darkness surged towards Mamoru and teleported him out of sight.
"He vanished!" gasped the Thunder Guardian.
"But how?" asked Luna.
"It must be the work of the Dark Kingdom," said Sailor Mercury.
"Queen Beryl," Sora said darkly, clenching his fist in anger as Sailor Moon hung her head.
Back in her fortress, Queen Beryl stood over Mamoru's form resting inside the bone cradle.
"As I feared, Endymion hadn't lost his past memories, after all we had done to ensure it. So there's more work to do. We need to infuse him with the energy of our great ruler, and this time we'll turn him into a loyal servant of the Dark Kingdom forever!" she said.
The next day, everyone went to 10Ban Land to see how Ami and Ryo were doing.
"Let's come here again, all right?" asked Ami, as they rode the ferris wheel.
"Sure," replied Ryo.
"We can't let this happen! If Ami's sidetracked from her important mission because of this interest in her new relationship, who's gonna keep us together!?" asked Usagi, who looked up in frustration.
"Isn't that supposed to be your job, Usagi?" Minako asked sassily.
"I think you're jealous of those two, isn't that right?" smirked Rei.
"You're jealous too," countered Usagi.
"Oh come on guys, just cool it. Let's be happy for them and let them be," said Makoto.
"Yeah," agreed Sora.
Then together they all looked up at Ami and Ryo, and decided to be respectful of their bond with each other.
