AN: Im so sorry for not updating on so long, I've moved to university so I have been crazy busy! I think I will only be updating once a week for the time being as I'm running out of pre-written chapters. Thank you for the reviews they make me smile :)

"Eli, what do you want?" Asked Ziva, as politely as she could manage given the circumstances. She signalled to Tony to let Gibbs know that Eli was on the phone to her.

"Always straight to the point Ziva, I would like an update on Eliana's condition." Eli was not one to bounce around the subject. His eldest daughter sighed, she looked at Tony, if she lied to Eli he would find out if she told the truth who knew what would happen, he obviously knew that Lia was in DC with her and Gibbs.

"Eli, she is very unwell as a result of you, the consequences will be life-long but myself, Gibbs and everyone else on the team will support her,"

"Ziva, I want to support Eliana too, she is my daughter."

"Not anymore, Eli, you have failed her, handed her a death sentence." Ziva was fed up, how could he expect to waltz back into her life after everything he had done.

"Ziva, she does not have a mother; I am her father, I am on my way to DC now." Eli then ended the phone call before Ziva was able to counter him. She looked at Tony as she dropped her phone to the floor, and tears began to stream down her face.

"Hey Zi, what did he say?" Asked Tony as he took Ziva into his arms in an attempt to comfort her, Ziva's father with a bastard and he wasn't about to let Eli hurt Ziva again. Ziva shook her head and snuggled further into Tony's strong arms; she felt safe and protected when she was in his embrace.

"Zi, I know this is hard, but we need to tell Gibbs what Eli said, he is on his way over now, he was busy with his boat," explained Tony.

Ziva nodded and tried to regain control of her emotions. "He is coming to DC he is on his way now, he wants to support Eliana." with this Ziva began crying again, so her and Tony headed to the kitchen to make some more tea and coffee.

When Tony entered the living room Ziva was sat on the sofa in his Ohio State Buckeyes hoodie staring blankly at the floor; she was picking at her fingers, a sure sign of Ziva's nerves. Tony sat down next to her and gave her a cup of tea; their bodies then moulded back into each other; they remained like this until a knock at the door interrupted them.

Tony greeted his boss with a cup of coffee as Gibbs strode towards Ziva, Tony wasn't the only one worried about how Eli's call had affected Ziva. The usually stern boss crouched down in front of his agent and rubbed her knee affectionately.

"Ziver, you want to fill me in?" Asked Gibbs in a quiet voice, Ziva's eyes never met his, but she nodded slowly and began to explain the conversation with Eli. Gibbs sighed, he knew Eli was going to ring at some point, but he couldn't believe the audacity of the Director of Mossad, he was the cause of Eliana's injuries and trauma yet he wanted to come and support her!

"Ziver, I promise we will keep both of you safe; he is never going to hurt either one of you again." Explained Gibbs to the still shaken agent, he stood up and told Tony to look after Ziva before heading back to his place to make some calls in preparation for Eli's visit. Tony and Ziva headed back to bed in anticipation of a long day at the office ahead.

Less than an hour later, Tony was woken by Ziva having a nightmare; she was talking in Hebrew from what he could discern. When Ziva first came back from Somalia, he had gotten good at waking Ziva up before the nightmare got to this stage but the absence of Ziva from his apartment, once she had found her own place, meant he was out of practice. Tony shook Ziva in an attempt to rouse her and called her name; this was a stubborn dream. Eventually, Ziva awoke with a start and began frantically looking around the room asking 'Where is he?'.

"Where's who Ziva?" Asked Tony, Ziva looked at Tony and took a deep albeit, shaky breath in. Ziva realised Eli was nowhere to be seen and that she was still with Tony, safe, she thought to herself. Too exhausted to explain herself, Ziva slumped back down on the bed and curled into Tony, smelling his chest, reminding her of her surroundings. Tony played with Ziva's hair until her snores filled the room, Tony then settled down to sleep and thankfully the rest of the night passed without another nightmare.

When the pair woke up the next morning it was 0700 hours, both had slept in and panicked at the time knowing Gibbs would give them both a head slap when they got to the office. Tony checked his phone whilst Ziva was in the shower and to his surprise there was a text from Gibbs.

"Don't worry about coming in until 0900, take Z for breakfast." Tony chuckled to himself in disbelief, making a mental note to ask McGee if he had texted on Gibbs' behalf. He told Ziva the good news as she got dressed and the pair decided they would visit Eliana at the hospital after breakfast.

Once at the hospital, Tony and Ziva noticed the extra security, there were NCIS agents at the main entrance to the hospital, and both doors to the paediatric ward as well as outside o Eliana's room. Both agents knew this was Gibbs' doing, as they approached Eliana's room they both heard Lia making noises again, Ziva looked at Tony and explained that she was practising her speech and language therapy.

When they entered the room, Eliana smiled and shut her eyes, "Hey," Said Eliana in a heavily accented, very croaky and quiet voice, Tony and Ziva looked at each other with massive grins before growing Lia in praise. She smiled at how happy the two agents were from such a simple gesture, Lia wanted to keep practising so that she could impress Ziva and Tony even more.

The three, watched another Disney classic, Snow White, in Hebrew, partway through Ziva rang Gibbs to check on the situation. Eliana picked up on the uneasy atmosphere that had settled in the room and was slightly on edge; the nurse noticed this when he checked on Lia.

"How is she?" asked Gibbs. Ziva explained that Lia had said 'hey' to them this morning, an informal Hebrew greeting but much more manageable than saying 'Shalom'. Gibbs also checked that Eliana wasn't told her father was going to be arriving.

Ducky was down in autopsy trying to make a psychological profile of Eli David before he arrived, the Mossad director was absolutely fascinating. However, Ducky was slightly disturbed by his mental state. He phoned Jethro to let him know the results just as he walked through the doors.

"This man is a force to be reckoned with Jethro; he is a psychopath and will stop at nothing to get what he wants. His behaviour is volatile and almost impossible to predict" Explained Ducky.

Gibbs nodded "Well the force to be reckoned with just landed in Dulles international". With that Gibbs left autopsy and headed upstairs to check on the NCIS agents that were waiting at the airport for Eli to arrive, he also rang Tony to let him know Eli was in DC so to be prepared for a visit from Eli at the hospital.

As DiNozzo re-entered Lia's room, he looked at Ziva and nodded discretely with a frown, Ziva knew this meant her father was in DC. Eliana tapped Ziva's arm and gave her a questioning look, whilst her elder sister tried to convince her everything was okay, Lia knew that something more sinister was going on.

Eliana's heart rate began to increase, and Tony and Ziva tried to calm her, but it was to no avail, suddenly Lia's small body began to convulse on the bed her eyes rolling back into her head. Ziva stroked her sister's forehead soothingly in an attempt to minimise her distress, luckily Zeke, Lia's nurse came in and administered some diazepam to help the seizure stops.

Eliana's oxygen level began to drop and for the first time in days had to revert to an oxygen mask rather than nasal oxygen therapy. The seizure lasted for 3 minutes before it eventually came to a stop, Ziva smiled sadly as Eliana fell into a deep sleep.

"I think we just learned to be upfront with Eliana," Said Tony in an attempt to comfort Ziva and bring some light to the situation. The pair sat down on the small couch that converted to a bed if needed and revelled in the comfort of each other's physical comfort until they were disturbed by a commotion on the ward.

Ziva stuck her head out of the door and saw her father; she paled at the sight of him, Ziva hadn't seen her father since he sent her to Somalia on a suicide mission. She went back inside to Tony and explained that the commotion was her father, he stormed towards the commotion, hoping to give Director David a piece of his mind.
