Past and present

GrantL1991 asked for a oneshot of Snowing from the past meeting present day Snowing and Emma. They have to live together until a solution can be found.

"So how long exactly do you think fairytale mom and dad are going to be with us?" Emma whispered quietly over the breakfast counter. Meanwhile, the past versions of her parents were wondering around the living room staring suspiciously at their reflections from the TV screen.

"Just until someone works out a way to send them back with their memories wiped. They can't know about what's coming up. It could change everything." Charming said rubbing his temple. Neither his past self nor Snow's took too kindly to Regina casting the dark curse and Emma being put through the wardrobe. If they went back with that knowledge the world as everyone knew it would change. As wonderful as that all sounded, it meant one massive change: no Henry. That was a sacrifice nobody was willing to make.

"Good. They keep looking at me and Neal funny. Like you two did when the first curse broke." Emma grumbled. It was a weird look, almost apologetic. Snow and Charming could truly empathise with their past selves. It was an apologetic look. How could it not be? They put their newborn through a wardrobe into the unknown.

"Regina thinks it'll take them maybe a couple more days max. I think the real issue will be getting them to drink something Regina gives them. Maybe it's better coming from us." Snow pointed out. To their past selves, Regina was still a mortal enemy, not a dear friend.

"Probably. I'll just try and steer clear until then. I don't think I can deal with the gawping anymore. I would tell them to just take a picture, but I think that would just confuse things even more." Snow and Charming smiled. Maybe it would be best for all concerned if there was a little distance in place.
