Destroying all hope- part 2
A guest asked for a oneshot of a sequel to Ch2978 "Destroying all hope" where we see the family's lives after everyone else has returned to Storybrooke. Combined with CharmingsDaughter's request for a sequel where Emma goes into hiding to force Snowing to leave Neverland.
"Pan!" Charming growled. "You promised! You promised you wouldn't go near us or Emma." The family had been trapped on Neverland for…well, they didn't really know how long exactly. Time moved differently in Neverland. Either way, they'd been there a lot longer than any of them wanted. Emma was taking every opportunity she got to try and convince her parents to go home, but they refused. They said they weren't leaving Emma behind on her own, they wouldn't dream of it.
"What makes you think I've taken precious little Emzy?" Came a pompous voice from behind them. Snow and Charming whipped round, brandishing their weapons at Pan.
"Because you're behind every damn thing that happens on this Godforsaken island." Snow snarled. "You made a promise to leave us alone. If you've broken that promise we break our side of the deal too." Snow warned him. Pan smirked.
"I haven't broken any deal, Princess. I'm not beside Emzy playing hide and seek. I promised you that I wouldn't interfere providing you didn't try and leave. I can't, however-"
"Say the same for your Lost Boys, we know." Charming interrupted him. "That doesn't explain where Emma is." Charming said, turning to Snow. Maybe Pan wasn't behind Emma not being found. Pan was unfazed by the couple's anger.
"Well, I guess you'd better get seeking. You wouldn't want my boys to be the first to catch her. Then the game would get…well, very interesting." With that, Pan vanished. Snow and Charming sped up their search through the tropical jungle. The Lost Boys were a territorial lot, and didn't like the family on their turf.
Eventually, Snow found Emma hiding in a small cave in the rockface.
"Finally." Charming sighed, grateful they'd found her in one piece. "Emma, what were you thinking? What if the Lost Boys had found you first?"
"Well, I was thinking that either you gave up trying to find me and accepted I was a goner, or, the Lost Boys found me and I really was a goner. Either way, you'd have no reason to stay here and you'd go back home." Emma told them. Snow and Charming frowned. When would Emma give in and accept they weren't leaving her again?
"Emma, we always find each other in this family. We chose to stay here, to be with you. We weren't leaving you to an eternity running from Pan and his crew. You are our daughter, sure, this isn't the way we would want things, especially being separated from Henry, but we get to catch up on all our missed time with you. We get to show you the parents you always deserved. One day, we will find a way to get you off this island. Until then, we need you to stop running off and putting yourself in danger. Do you think you can do that, for us?" Charming pleaded with her. Emma rolled her eyes.
"I promise nothing." She grumbled. But Snow and Charming knew she was just putting on a front. Even if she did run away again, they would just go find her.
