A masked villain

A guest asked for a oneshot of Emma not trusting the Blue Fairy, but her parents do. She turns out to be a villain leading to them apologising to Emma.

Emma had always found there was something fishy about the self-proclaimed leader of the good fairies. There were just too many dark little secrets with her. After all, she had known all along that neither of Emma's parents were making it through the wardrobe. To Emma, it almost felt like she had intended it that way. Emma could never prove anything, and whenever she brought the subject up, they dismissed them. They said Blue was always an ally when they needed her, that she was on the right side. Oh how happy Emma was when she was finally able to prove her suspicions that Blue was a dark villain. They caught her in cahoots with the Black Fairy. It turned out, she was a double agent. She was working with the Black Fairy to take the forces of good down: meaning she had always wanted Emma dead. She had hoped by not having an adult go through the wardrobe with her Emma would die from exposure to the elements. When her original plan had been foiled, she started working on other plans to rid the world of the Saviour.

Snow and Charming couldn't believe they'd missed so many obvious signs. They could have changed everything. They could have gone through the wardrobe with Emma…but there was no use dwelling on any of that now. They had to focus on the present. Firstly, apologising to their daughter.

"We're so sorry." Snow said, heartbroken as she hugged Emma. "We should have listened to you…"

"She was your friend, I get it." Emma insisted.

"Even so." Charming joined in the hug. "We should have known." On some level, Emma agreed that her parents should have suspected that Blue was a villain, but at the end of the day, they didn't. There was no point in holding a grudge over it. At the end of the day, they were together now.
