Harry walked in to see Madam Pomfrey rushing from bed to bed. She looked over at the boy, still running to the next bed. "I'm sorry, Harry, but, there's too many people to have anyone else here. So, unless it's serious, I'm going to have to ask you to leave."
"No worries. It's just a cold. Besides, I'm used to recovering the muggle way." So he left back to Lockhart.
"Harry," he said when he returned. "You're back quickly."
"She's too busy," he responded.
"Maybe we can reschedule your detention for tomorrow?"
Harry immediately said "yes," and left to the common room. "Harry?" Ron said when he saw him. "Why aren't you in detention?"
"He let me out to rest."
The next day Harry felt even worse. He went to potions anyways. No way was he going to Madame Pomfrey!
He suddenly started sneezing again and Snape walked over. "Mister Potter-" His sneezing fit turned into a coughing fit and even Professor Snape stepped back. "Miss Granger, escort Mister Potter to the Hospital Wing for some pepper-up," Snape was disgusted enough to say.
By the time they got there, Harry had stopped coughing.
"I'm sorry Harry, but I'm still too busy. Maybe tomorrow."
By the time they got back, class was over and they went to the common room. Harry sat over in a chair and Ron and Hermine walked over to him. "Y'know, Harry," said Ron, "What if this is more than just a cold?"
"Ron, I'm fih... HEHSHOO!" Ron opened his mouth, but Hermine knew Harry wasn't done and shook her head. "HEHSHOO! EHCHOO!"
"Bless you," Ron finally said.
"Thags..."
"You sure you're alright, mate?"
"I'b fide!"
"Okay..." Ron backed up slowly.
By the next class, even the slightest tickle would set off a sneezing fit. "So are we still doing the detention today?"
"Mmm..."
"Maybe tomorrow?"
"Mmm..."
Harry just wanted to sleep, so he slept right through Lockhart's class. Lockhart didn't seem to care.
