Slimy
A guest asked for a oneshot of the princess and the frog story, but Snow and Charming.
"Ok, normally I'm all for woodland animals, you guys can be pretty useful, but you're starting to get on my nerves." Snow admitted as she tried to gently usher the frog out of the dwarves' cottage with a broom. The little green creature was having none of it, and kept hopping back and forth, dodging her sweeps. He was ribbeting furiously at her. Snow sighed in frustration. What did he want?! Seeing no other option, Snow picked up the frog.
"Look, here's how this works." Snow snapped. "You're a frog. You spend your days lounging by a nice pond, find yourself a nice lily pad to sunbathe on. Eat a few nice flies. Find yourself a nice girl frog, have a bunch of tadpoles. That's the way your life goes. You leave me and my home in peace. Understood? It seemed like the frog did understand, as crazy as that sounded, but that it wasn't happy about it. It kept looking at Snow with these big pitiful eyes. Snow must need more sleep, because those eyes just seemed so familiar. It was almost like she understood them. Like she could communicate with this frog without the need for words. Although if Snow was right and she could understand, she did not like what he was asking for. Not at all.
"Nuh uh, no way. I specifically said a nice girl frog. I don't make tadpoles, dear." That didn't stop the frog looking at her though. He was clearly asking Snow to kiss him. "Oh come on! That's weird! If one of my brothers catches me they'll have Doc check me over." Snow tried to reason with the frog. She couldn't believe she was doing that. She was arguing with a damn frog. Snow sighed. There was only one way to make this frog go away, it would seem. Snow sighed. "Oh alright fine. Just quickly." Snow felt sick. She knew what this guy ate. She scrunched her eyes together, pursed her lips, and quickly put them against the frog's. Snow didn't even notice what happened next because it happened so fast. A ball of light engulfed them both. The frog that Snow was kissing became a man. A man Snow knew very well. When she opened her eyes, Snow was able to see that the frog wasn't a frog at all, but Charming, her Charming. She gasped, taking him in.
"Charming?!" She asked. Charming grinned.
"Snow." He said, taking her face in his hands and kissing her once more. He'd waited too long to do that.
"I though…I thought you'd left." Snow said, her broken heard afraid to heal. Charming shook his head, clinging to Snow's hands.
"No, I could never leave you. I got lost trying to find you. Found some mad doctor. I offended him and, well, the frog was the result. I knew true love's kiss was the only way to break it. Plus, it meant kissing you again." Charming pointed out with another trademark grin. Snow couldn't believe it. She had thought he had left her, but he hadn't. He still loved her. Their story went on.
