This is chapter 3 which is going to start Attack of The Clones and create the real beginning of the story. For people wondering if the clones will have Percy's powers and other demigod traits, they won't. When the clones were genetically modified they took most of those traits out not realizing what they were. So the clones will be like the ones in the movies except Percy's will have more training. Thanks for reading and supporting me.

Percy looked around him in wonder. He sat on the ground in a kind of astral plain and all around him he could see lights. Trillions of them, swirling and glowing with an ethereal glow. They surrounded him, not in a way that made him special, but like they were just part of who he was. Like he simply existed and they recognized this fact to be true. He could feel the power, the energy behind each one binding it to the next and to the world around him. He could understand them. Not words per say, but what they meant. Their identities. He knew this was the Force, the energy of all living things. It was not inherently good nor evil, just there. Millions appeared every second while millions disappeared every second. The cycle of life, of starting to exist, not by choice but because it was what was necessary, only to leave for the same purpose.

Out of the corner of his eye he saw one glow brighter than the rest. It started off slow, like the soft hum of a hummingbird, only to grow with every second. The others parted before it, not fighting it only letting it flow. It grew until it was Percy's focus. He was entrapped by its gaze, like the lure of Medusa herself freezing him in place. Energy flowed from it in waves, covering the space with a soft golden light. The others thrived beneath it, dancing happily like it was their god coming to save them. Percy could subconsciously feel his rand reaching forward, unable to stop. He needed to know why it was here. Why it didn't have the apparent bounds the rest seemed to have.

His fingers touched it. It was warm to the touch, not hot but the gentle warmth of a campfire, or a mother's hug. He could feel the energy inside, swirling about without a care in the world. It sent tingles throughout his entire body, gentle electricity running rampant. He relished in it, enjoying the sensation. He noticed it reaching out for another light. It glowed a small bit brighter than the rest, but nothing to this magnitude. A soft tendril of light snaked toward this other light.

It circled around a few times before finally touching it. As soon as it made contact the smaller light clutched onto it. Not hard but not soft. Then as the seconds went by it started to wrap tighter and tighter, attempting to pull energy from his own light. The light soon turned black as night and grew. It decayed Percy's rapidly, and Percy could feel it. He was cold, shivering, but at the same time bristling with hate. Who did this tiny little thing think it was to take his own light? Emotions rang throughout his body, feelings of anger, hatred, hopelessness, and despair. He only wanted to curl up and fall asleep. All the other smaller lights cried out in anguish; their own light being taken. They rang out in terror before disappearing forever. Each one clinging to others and the largest one desperately. Finally the darkness grew, the shadow of this monster enveloping the plain and plunging the world into eternal darkness.

Percy shot awake panting heavily. His body was drenched in sweat and he could feel the blankets around him clinging to his body. He studied his surroundings, knowing he was in his quarters on Kamino. This recurring nightmare plagued him every night warning him of the danger presented. His chest rose and fell as he took several deep breaths to calm himself down. He'd been here about 9 years now, but he never felt himself age a bit. This thought always made him curious. He swung his legs over and got out of bed, putting on his usual khakis and a button up shirt, which he'd asked the Kaminoans to replicate so he could be comfortable. They thought he was odd but complied anyway.

He looked at the holoscreen on his desk to check what day it was. His eyes lit up. Today was the day his first set of units completed their training! He was ecstatic to see his first troops don their armor and march into their warships. They had to increase the number of ships, specifically Venator class, per each set of units to match the clone outputs. He had also already explored every inch of the ships they provided and was thrilled. He spent almost all his days in the ships, training and exploring. He could admit it was a little lonely without anybody else there, but today that would change. He got his own army of 40,000 units today, along with warships and 40,000 the next month too. He rushed out of his quarters, almost running to the HQ of his facility.

As the doors opened he greeted his current favorite person "Kan! So great to see you on a fine morning such as this!"

She turned and smiled at him. "And what could possibly be the reason for your excitement?" she questioned, knowing full well the answer.

Percy glared at her. "I think you know why. Today the Grand Army of Percy is finished!" he waved his hands around dramatically.

She frowned at his words. "You need to be much more creative please. Don't make me regret doing this job for you," she told him.

"No I think that works quite well. It will spark fear in the hearts of my nonexistent enemies," he stated. She rolled her eyes.

"I think you might be disappointed to know this, but Jango Fett has returned from his trip to Coruscant," she informed him. He scowled at her words. The Kaminoans assigned Jango Fett to the main Kamino facility, to ensure the facility was well protected, and for other reasons unknown to Percy. Percy knew he was a respectable Bounty Hunter but despised the man. He was the perfect Bounty Hunter and had the traits to go with it. He generally did not care for others and only worked for the money and killing. Of course these traits were the opposite of Percy, resulting in rather harsh feelings towards the man. He knew Jango headed to Coruscant for another job and sort of hoped he failed.

"And his job," he asked Kan.

"I hear it was a failure," she told him. He smirked evilly. "Now, both your units and the first units of the Grand Army of the Republic are finished today, so you may watch the inauguration of either army, or both if you desire." Percy wanted to see both, but he decided on his own first.

"I'll stay with my army. Hopefully, I'll catch the ending of theirs," Percy said. She nodded.

"Please, right this way then," she guided him towards a sliding door that led to a balcony overlooking the entire first set of units. He had to admit their armor looked absolutely badass, being mostly white with the sea green lines on the side and the trident on the left shoulder pad. On the right, Percy saw the first logo chosen. It was a bird, eagle shaped with its wings and face going up. The wings went up the circle outline. It had a dark blue tint, and the background was plain white. He watched each clone walk up towards the belt carrying their helmets and put the helmet on. The helmet was also white with a downward triangular shape covering the eyes and going down the nose, splitting into two narrow ones at the mouth. They looked amazing. They formed up into cohorts in perfect formation, with a captain at the front of each one. The captain looked the same except had a yellow outline around their facial features and the stripe going down the arms. As if practiced 10 hours every day (Which it probably was) they marched in perfect cohesion and formation forward and into their designated cruiser.

Percy knew the cruisers already had an admiral and the crew required. He could see the cannons mounted on the outside of the hangars, and more on the sides of the ship. The cruiser had two bridges, each one coming from a center block located in the back middle of the ship. The cruiser had a main hangar in the center going from the bottom of the center piece connecting the bridges, and forward almost to the end of the ship. It also had two blast door hangars at about the mid-section. Inside he could see rows of gunships, bombers, and fighters already for battle. He grinned like a madman. Here he had what was most likely the second or third strongest military in the galaxy, under his command. However he knew this came with a huge responsibility to the troops and the galaxy itself. He could not abuse this power in the slightest. He also knew he had to keep this military a secret, or else the Republic would have his head.

Percy knew this probably not the right word, but he could only describe it as majestic. It hit close to home, reminding him of the legion at New Rome, except much larger, more coordinated, and more advanced. Percy's face fell at the reminder of what he left behind. He tried not to think about them, or how they betrayed him and cast him out. Those thoughts always ruined his day, and he did not want this day to be ruined.

"It's beautiful isn't it?" Kan asked him. He could only nod in awe. If this was only one facility, he shuddered to think of what the Republic army look like. "I think it's time we go see the other army. I too want to see the outcome of their work." Kan turned and walked through the doors and beckoned him along. He strolled after her like a lost puppy, still too much in awe to think properly. "We'll take an Aiwha, assuming you still want to come?" she asked.

"Yes I'll go. I just needed a minute. Is there anybody from the Republic coming to look at their troops? If so I would like to meet them," Percy asked. He wanted to meet anybody from the republic, almost desperate to interact with somebody not 3 feet taller than him. Jango Fett didn't count.

Kan frowned. "The Republic has not sent a person to inspect the troops or their progress since the army was requested. Truthfully, we fear they have forgotten about us," she told him. He was shocked.

"Who orders their own army but completely ignores it for 9 years? That makes no sense," he said. Wouldn't they at least want to make sure they were being trained properly or meeting their standards. He had a feeling in his gut that something was wrong about the whole situation. There was no reason to not inspect the troops and based on the Senate meetings he watched on the holonet; they clearly had enough time. It was like they didn't even know the army existed.

"The Republics need for the army is none of our concern. We only provide the cloning process. Though even I must admit the situation is a bit peculiar," she admitted to him. He wholeheartedly agreed. When they got outside and onto a landing bay, she whistled sharply. Two Aiwha rose from the water, their wings flapping smoothly and elegantly. They both already had saddles on. "Let us continue," Kan said.

They each mounted an Aiwha and plunged off the pad, gliding towards the water. When they hit the water they immediately dove under, and Percy and Kan put on their rebreathers, though Percy didn't need it. They shot through the water, leaping out and gliding a couple hundred feet occasionally. Percy could feel the power surrounding him, enveloping him and making him feel immortal. This planet was perfect, filled with his element and great conditions. He allowed his button up and khakis to get wet to avoid suspicion.

Finally he could see the support beams of the facility ahead, shadowed by the enormous domes above. He knew those domes were filled with troops waiting to be deployed to an army that may never exist. Their Aiwha ascended the platform, landing on the main landing pad. Percy's immediate attention was drawn to a ship on the platform, one he did not recognize. It was most certainly not Kaminoan and didn't strike him as a ship Jango would use. It was mostly a rust red color, relatively small, one person ship. The cockpit had a glass covering protecting the pilot from the space around him. There was an opening for an R2 unit, and true enough an R2 unit was present, being the same color as the ship. It beeped at him several times, then seeming to realize he couldn't understand it, it stopped.

"I don't recognize this ship, who's is it?" Percy asked Kan. She looked at it quizzically.

"I do not recognize the ship itself either, but the design suggests it is a Jedi fighter," she responded quietly. His eyes went wide. The possibility of meeting a Jedi peaked Percy's interest, and he quickly dismounted the Aiwha, following Kan into the facility. "Perhaps the Republic has sent a Jedi to inspect the troops. Though only one does not make sense," she told Percy, but he suspected she was talking more to herself.

They walked through the blinding white hallways, Kan somehow already knowing where to go. They arrived at a room that was like the HQ at his own facility. She led him through the same door, with the same balcony overlooking the troops. If Percy was shocked earlier, he was about to have a heart attack here. The army present was about 10x the size of his. Tens or even hundreds of cruisers were inside the hangar, each one being filled by thousands of troops. There must have been over 200,000 units present, all looking almost the same as Percy's beside the stripe and trident. Some of them had different color aspects, like a light blue or neon yellow. There were even some camo troops in their own formations. The synchronization of their boots thundered across the facility, as if the ever-present storm outside had made its way inside. They had the same cohort organization as his own troops, and they marched into their cruisers just like his.

"Its massive" he muttered under his breath. This had to be the largest army ever created.

"There are over 200,000 units ready, and over a million more almost completed with their training," she told him. He nearly feinted. A million fucking troops were present here, and there were more still in training. Kan's wrist comm beeped sharply, surprising him out of his awe. "Kan Tang, please escort Mr. Jackson to the conference room. The Jedi requests a meeting to question him," a voice sounded out. "We shall arrive shortly," she told the person on the other side, who sounded like Lama Su. "It is time to leave. Hopefully, the Jedi will be satisfied with you," she teased. He maturely stuck his tongue out at her. He understood why the Jedi wanted to meet him, but that did nothing for his beating heart.

He followed Kan down hallway after hallway, with twist and turns going every which way. Hopefully, he would be allowed to leave with Kan, otherwise he'd never get out. As they got closer to their apparent destination, Percy started to feel a presence. He could feel a connection to it, growing stronger every second they walked. He assumed this was his force sensitive body reacting to the Jedi. His apprehension rose as they got closer. What if the Jedi didn't want him to be the cloning specimen? Would they have to restart the army? Would he lose his own army? These thoughts rang shot through his mind, almost making him wish he didn't need to meet the Jedi. Finally, they got to a door that looked the same as all the others, obviously. They opened and Percy was greeted by an interesting sight. There were 4 ladle chairs descended from the ceiling, and in two of them were the Prime Minister and a man. The man was ginger, wearing long brown robes. He had shoulder length hair, and a light beard. His eyes bore into his, studying him, like he was questioning every part of his being. The Jedi's eyes went wide, then narrow as he studied Percy.

Percy approached the man, bowing his head respectfully. "Percy Jackson," he said making sure to keep his voice smooth.

The man studied him for a moment more before bowing his head down too. "Obi-Wan Kenobi," he replied smoothly and in what Percy thought was a British accent. Did they even have accents in space? "Your clones are very impressive you must be very proud," he told Percy.

Percy thought for a minute. Every response had to be precise. "I only provided the DNA. The Kaminoans deserve the credit," he told Kenobi.

Obi-Wan smiled lightly at his response. "Where are you from, Mr. Jackson?" he asked.

Percy struggled with his response. He couldn't say Earth, for as far as he knew nobody in the galaxy other than the Kaminoans knew of Earth. He did not want to reveal his home planet's location. "Coruscant. When the Kaminoans presented me with this opportunity, I could not refuse," Percy's half-lie flowed off the tongue. Percy knew Obi-Wan saw right through the lie as soon as he finished.

"Have you visited the Capital recently?" he asked Percy. Percy couldn't help what wonder where these questions came from. The Jedi seemed suspicious of Percy, which made sense considering his lie.

"No. I have remained here since I came in the first place. Partially for insurance purposes, but others as well," Percy instantly cursed himself for his slip up. He should have just said because the Kaminoans wanted him here.

Obi-Wan raised an eyebrow. "What other reasons are keeping you here?" he asked again. Percy felt like this was more of an interrogation than a civil conversation.

He knew he couldn't tell Kenobi about his own army, so he needed a precise response. "I have no desire to leave. The kind Prime Minister," Percy gestured to the man who smiled lightly, "has allowed me to stay for free. He provides me with everything I need, and the company is stellar," he said winking at Kan. She only rolled her eyes and sighed.

"That is all?" Kenobi asked. Screw the Jedi and their mind powers or whatever.

"Yes. I have no reason to go to the Capital anymore, as I have no family or friends there. I have only waited for the Republic to come for their army. I may just go back when you are finished inspecting them," he said. He had thought a good amount on what to do when his army was done. Sure, training every day was an ok feeling, but he wanted to explore the galaxy. There were thousands of planets out there and he wanted to visit every single one.

"I apologize for keeping you waiting then. I look forward to seeing them in action," Kenobi said. Percy could tell by his tone the conversation was over. They all rose from their seats, bowing lightly to each other and leaving the room.

When Percy thought about the questions, he realized that Kenobi was looking for someone. Somebody had done something in the Capital recently and he assumed the Senate sent Obi-Wan to investigate. He narrowed his eyes. Jango Fett. He was a bounty hunter and had just returned from Coruscant. The Jedi somehow found out he was here and tried to find him. However, clearly the Jedi only found Percy. Something clicked in his mind. That was why he was suspicious. He thought Percy was the bounty hunter.

He walked faster to catch up with the Jedi. "Master Kenobi," he greeted again. The Jedi turned to him with a questioning gaze. "If I assume correctly you are looking for a bounty hunter right?" Percy asked.

"Yes. There was an assassination attempt on a Senate Representative recently on Coruscant, and I have tracked the bounty hunter to this location," Obi-Wan told him. "Do you have any idea where he might be?" he asked Percy.

"Yes. There is a bounty hunter here that goes by the name Jango Fett, and wears Mandalorian armor. He just returned from the Capital last rotation. He is most likely the bounty hunter you are searching for," Percy told the Jedi. Anything to get Jango in trouble was worth it to him.

Kenobi's eyes lit up. "Where can I find this bounty hunter?" he asked Percy. The Jedi was clearly eager at the chance to catch Jango.

"Come on, I'll take you to him," Percy told Kenobi. The two set off on a brisk jog to Jango's quarters. He knew exactly where he was, as he came here often for some albeit bad company. They both missed the harsh look Lama Su sent towards the pair.

They came to a stop in front of a small door that Percy knew housed Jango Fett and his clone kid, Boba Fett. Boba was part of Jango's payment, which Percy found odd. "He should be here, along with his armor and his kid named Boba Fett. Be careful, and let me know if you need assistance," Percy offered his help to the Jedi. He was warming up to the stranger after he realized that Kenobi was a good person.

Kenobi sent him strange look but nevertheless told him "If you could cover the door in case he tries to escape, that would be nice. But please, do not get injured on my behalf." Percy nodded, and pressed the pad on the side of the door. The door shot open, and Obi-Wan strolled in. Percy had no doubt he noticed the armor in the closet but strolled past anyway. Percy moved forward into the doorway, crossing his arms trying to look like an intimidating security guard.

A boy was in the main room, looking at a pad on a desk. When the boy noticed the pair he shot up, then visibly tried to calm down. "Hello little one," Kenobi greeted the boy. "Are you Boba Fett?" he asked. Boba nodded. "And is your father here?" Boba nodded again. "Could you please let him know that I would like to speak with him," Kenobi told Boba. Boba walked towards the closet and knocked on the frame.

"Dad, a Jedi and Percy are here. The Jedi wishes to speak with you," Boba told Jango who was in the room. Jango walked out, folding his sleeves over clearly just getting changed. His smooth gait reminded Percy he was a professional killer for a living.

He whispered something to Boba in a different language, and the boy nodded. He spoke as he approached Kenobi. "How may I be of assistance Master Jedi?" he asked. His face was stoic.

"I am Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi. I have some questions for you," Kenobi said. Percy never knew he was a master.

"I'm happy to answer any of them," Jango replied.

"Why are you on this planet. Surely it is too far away to be of any importance of you," Kenobi asked. Well then, straight to the point.

"The Kaminoans hired me to protect this facility in case of an unauthorized intrusion," he replied. Percy immediately noticed his slip up of admitting he was hired.

Obi-Wan smiled. "And can I assume your occupation then is a bounty hunter?" he questioned the man. He had him pinned in with words. Percy could admit Obi-Wan was a highly intelligent individual. Everybody in the room noticed Jango's obvious tension at the question. Percy shifted his feet to be ready in case Jango attempted to run.

"You would be correct. I travel the galaxy looking for work," he told Obi-Wan, clearly trying to keep his voice even.

"Ever traveled as far as Coruscant?" Kenobi asked.

Jango nodded. "Once or twice."

"Recently?" Kenobi asked. Obviously Jango was going to lie.

"No. I only went there during my prime. Much too busy in the city to find and establish work. Easier further towards the Outer Rim," Jango said. Percy rolled his eyes.

"Some sources tell me you just returned from a trip to the Capital. Am I to infer they are incorrect?" Obi-Wan asked. Jango shot a look towards Percy who only smirked.

"Yes. I'm sorry to disappoint but I must be going now. A long day ahead of me to ensure the facility is secure on the planet," Jango rushed. Percy knew he was trying to get the two out of his quarters so he could escape.

"Understandable. I hope to meet you again bounty hunter," Obi-Wan told the man. Percy was shocked. Kenobi was just going to let the Bounty Hunter go? All the evidence clearly proves he was the culprit of the attempted assassination on the Representative. Jango Fett practically admitted it! Percy was utterly confused about Kenobi's motives. If it was some damn Jedi philosophy Percy was going to go after Jango himself.

"Come along Percy. I thank you for the escort and company," Percy made to protest but Obi-Wan simply gestured at him to come along. When they were well into the hallway Percy was about to say something when Obi-Wan interrupted. "I know you believe he is the bounty hunter. However, I am not permitted to act upon my suspicions as I have no permission from the Jedi Council nor the Senate. I must talk with the Council to proceed," Obi-Wan told an already raging Percy. Percy was about to lose his mind. This Jedi wouldn't take an obvious bounty hunter into custody because he didn't have permission. Fuck permission, he'd do it himself. "I will go speak to the Council regarding my next actions," Obi-Wan informed him.

This was a perfect reason why Percy disliked the Jedi. Their connection to the Republic prevented them from doing what was required. "Fine. I'll go myself. I hope they let you join me," Percy told Kenobi.

Obi-Wan frowned. "I must insist you leave this to me. I am a qualified Jedi and am under no inclination to let a civilian be harmed under my watch."

Wow. Obi-Wan actually thought he could stop Percy from taking this bounty hunter. Percy would keep him chained up in his quarters if he needed to (Not that he did, considering he had cells in The Grand Army of Percy). "I'm going Obi-Wan Kenobi. You cannot stop me. Hopefully, you're Council will let you join me," Percy snarked.

Obi-Wan only sighed and started jogging to where his ship was landed.

-Obi-Wan POV-

This boy, Percy Jackson, was truly a unique specimen. As soon as Obi-Wan reached the planet, he could feel a slight pull in the force. As the boy got closer his force presence grew until it was almost overwhelming Obi-Wan. He needed to inform the Council urgently of the boy, as his presence was a great disturbance in the force. It was neither good nor bad but created unbalance. Obi-Wan understood why Percy was frustrated that his Jedi Code required him to get permission to pursue the bounty hunter and keep him in custody. The boy's feelings reminded Obi-Wan of his former master, Qui Gon Jinn. His master was wise beyond belief and understood that the Jedi Order were losing their touch with the connection to the force. He disagreed with several policies of the Jedi but followed them regardless.

Obi-Wan knew he had to hurry before the boy hurt himself trying to confront the bounty hunter. He knew the boy's arrogance could get him killed which would be an unfortunate disaster. He rushed to his ship on the main landing platform. Obi-Wan had to yell in the heavy rain. "R4!" the droid beeped in response. "Scramble code five to Coruscant, care of the old folks' home!" This code would help him reach Master Yoda directly. The dish on his ship extended and pointed toward the direction Coruscant was generally located. A light on the device glowed red, and a holoscreen displayed Masters Yoda and Mace Windu in their meditation room. "I have successfully made contact with the Prime Minister of Kamino! They are using a boy named Percy Jackson to create a clone army! They are also using a bounty hunter by the name Jango Fett to defend the facility. I have a strong feeling that this bounty hunter is the assassin we are looking for!"

Mace Windu's voice sounded from the machine. "Do you think these cloners are involved in the plot to assassinate Senator Amidala?" he questioned.

Obi-Wan thought about his answer. They all seemed oblivious to the bounty hunter's actions, except for Percy. However Percy also seemed to despise the man and his line of work. "No, master. There appears to be no motive," Obi-Wan responded.

"Do not assume anything, Obi-Wan. Clear your mind must be… if you are to discover the real villains behind this plot," Yoda advised.

Obi-Wan took the Master's words into consideration. He had not been feeling his way through the confrontation, being unbalanced by Percy's presence. "Yes Master!" he replied. He knew he had to inform them of the troubling news of the army's creation. "They say Master Sifo-Dyas placed an order for a clone army at the request of the Senate almost 10 years ago," Obi Wan informed them. The two Jedi exchanged a glance. "I was under the impression he was killed before that. Did the Council ever authorize the creation of a clone army?" Obi-Wan asked them.

"No. Whoever placed that order did not have the authorization of the Jedi Council," Windu confirmed Obi-Wans thoughts.

"Bring him here. Question him we will," Master Yoda instructed him.

"The bounty hunter or the boy?" Obi-Wan asked.

"Both, by any means necessary," Mace told him.

"Yes Master. I will report back when I have them," Obi-Wan told them. He gestured for R4 to end the transmission. The boy would come easily, however the bounty hunter would be far more troublesome. His first step was to stop the boy from dying.

-Percy POV-

Percy jogged through the facility, looking for the landing pad with Jango's ship on it. He would take Jango into his own custody if Obi-Wan didn't. He came to another door and saw the large ship of the bounty hunter. Finally. Before he went out he heard footsteps approaching him quickly. Readying his fists, he waited for whoever it was to turn the corner. The familiar brown robes appeared before Percy could lunge. Thank the gods it was just Obi-Wan, though soaked to the bone. "Finally got your approval?" Percy asked.

"The council has asked me to bring both you and him to Coruscant to be questioned," Obi-Wan informed him. Percy was happy to go to a different planet.

"I'll go, but you'll have more trouble with Jango Fett. He is on this landing pad, about to leave. Let's go!" Percy told Obi-Wan as the two ran out the door.

They saw Jango at the bottom off the ramp, loading something onto the ship. "Dad, look!" Boba yelled from further in.

The bounty hunter turned and noticed the pair running towards them. "Boba! Get on board!" he yelled at the boy. Obi-Wan drew his lightsaber next to Percy and charged forward. Jango pulled out two blaster pistols from his belt and fired at the Jedi. Obi-Wan deflected each shot, advancing. Percy immediately ran to the side, trying to get past Jango at to Boba to stop him from taking off. Before he could the engines fired up and Percy was blown back onto the ground. He saw Jango fly towards a pillar and hide behind it, clinging onto it like a lizard. The ship started to move, and both Percy and the Jedi ran to stop it. From out of nowhere a missile struck the ground in front of them, once again blowing Percy back. Shit that thing hurt. Percy wasn't even sure where it came from. Percy saw Obi-Wans lightsaber fly out of his hands and couldn't stop the ion cannons fire from striking awfully close to the Jedi. When the Jedi was distracted Jango came out of his hiding spot and delivered a Spartan kick to Obi-Wans stomach, knocking him down. Before Jango could fire Percy leaped forward, sending a roundhouse kick to the bounty hunter's head. The blasters were knocked out of his hand and he turned to Percy. Percy once again tried kicking him in the stomach, but Jango caught his foot and pulled him to the ground. While Percy fell he swept his leg out, knocking Jango to his back. The two exchanged blows, Percy having more hand-to-hand practice. The only problem was that Jango's armor protected him from each strike, and consequently hurt Percy's hands.

When Jango headbutt him back, Percy had enough and drew his pen, the sword elongating in his hand. The celestial bronze glowed in the storm, and the bounty hunter backed, shocked. Percy took the advantage and struck out, the sword deflecting off the armor but leaving a considerable dent. Jango had no time to react as Percy sent a flurry of blows towards him. Each one weakened his armor. He could see Obi-Wan standing out of the corner of his eye and using the force to get his lightsaber. Jango turned dodged out of Percy's attacks and flew into the sky. Before Obi-Wan's lightsaber could reach him the bounty hunter sent a rope out of his arm, circling around the Jedi's arms and wrapping tightly. When Jango kept flying Obi-Wan was pulled after him, being dragged around. Percy was impressed when Obi Wan wrapped the rope around a pillar, pulling harshly as he pulled Jango to the ground. When Jango hit the side wall his jetpack broke off on impact, shooting off into the sky and into the water below. Unfortunately, he landed right next to his blaster and quickly picked it up. Before he could fire Obi-Wan drop-kicked him off the edge. Percy and Obi-Wan both noticed the rope still wrapped around his arms. "Oh, not good," he grunted as he too was yanked over the edge.

Percy ran forward and saw the two sliding off. Percy was about to reach out with his powers and stop both from falling, but before he could Jango extended blades on his arm and impaled them into the side. The metal screeched as it slowed his descent. Obi-Wan was not as lucky as he flew off the edge, only being stopped by the rope connecting the two. Percy jumped off, sliding down the side trying to reach the pair. He saw Boba reaching for his arm to disengage the rope, and instead flew right past, grabbing the ledge. When the rope flew by Percy grasped it in his hand, pulling roughly and keeping Obi-Wan suspended. "Climb up, I can hold!" Percy yelled down. Obi-Wan started to climb the rope, each tug having Percy lose his grip on the ledge. He could feel the water making his grip loosen but couldn't focus enough to stop it. "I'm slipping! Hold on!" Percy told Obi-Wan and he swung the Jedi up and over the side, landing on the platform. The excess movement made him lose his rip and start to fall. He knew he'd survive the fall easily but was worried about the Jedi above.

Before he could go far, he noticed he was not moving. He was hovering, in mid-air, not moving whatsoever. He looked up at the platform shocked to see Obi-Wan extending his arm toward Percy, gently keeping Percy suspended with nothing but his mind. Percy tried to stay as still as possible as the Jedi Master levitated Percy up and onto the landing pad. When he was safe the Jedi let him drop to the ground and looked towards the bounty hunter's ship. It was ascending quickly, getting into a good position to shoot off into space. Percy knew he would get away because they had no ship nearby.

"No need to worry, I attached a homing beacon to their ship. Wherever they go, I will know," Obi-Wan informed Percy. He sighed in relief as the ship disappeared into the distance. "I must follow them. I feel this bounty hunter is part of a much larger scheme." Percy was excited to go on a space adventure.

"Do you have another ship for me? I don't think yours will fit both of us," Percy asked Obi-Wan.

Obi-Wan frowned. "You will not be coming along. I shall send a transport from Coruscant to escort you to the Jedi Temple. For now, you will remain here." Percy wasn't going to give this opportunity up that easily.

"Come on man, you know I'm at least decent in a fight. I can watch your back when you go," Percy tried reasoning with Obi-Wan.

"While I must admit your talents surprised me, I will not permit you to travel with me. This has become strict Jedi and Republic business and will be treated as such. That is my final word," Obi-Wan declared. Percy knew there was no swaying this Jedi on the matter.

"Alright, but you better send the transport soon so I can get off this place. Never thought I'd say this but I'm starting to get bored of the scenery," Percy resigned to Obi-Wan.

Obi-Wan smiled at his new friend. "I will send for you as soon as possible. Until we meet again, Percy," Obi-Wan left the landing platform, and a couple minutes later he heard the engines of his ship taking off.

-Line Break-1 Day Later

Percy was on the bridge of one of his venators, named The Ex. Yes, this was his favorite ship. His army was still grounded on Kamino because they needed to run diagnostics to ensure they could get off the ground safely. His presence wasn't exactly required, but he wanted to see the ship with a full crew and troops. The crew in the bridge sat at their stations, on duty. They were almost ready to go. The admiral, Admiral Forsit, stood at the front of the bridge with his hands behind his back, looking out the window to the hangar. Chatter sprang about as crew members talked in headset's to other teams in the ship. They rallied out commands and where certain squads needed to be.

"All systems nominal Admiral, we're good to go," one member said from below. He, of course, looked just like the rest of the crew.

"Run systems check on the bridge communications. I'm receiving static from squad Delta C," the admiral ordered. Percy understood his need for everything to be perfect. It was a historic moment for the army, and one that needed to go perfectly.

"Copy that," the member responded. "Communications team, double check that signal. Check the main router within parameters 1234," he spoke into his headset. Percy understood all the codes they were using. He had a lot of time on his hands, so he mesmerized all the codes and what they were for to be better prepared. He even helped create some of them. "Systems check clear. There was interference from Delta Squads B and C. The problem is resolved," the crew relayed. Admiral Forsit nodded.

Percy strode towards the admiral, stopping beside him to admire the same view. Percy placed a hand on his shoulder, "Relax, Admiral. Everything's going to go smoothly. You're prepared for this moment," Percy calmed him.

"Apologies, General Perseus. I know the crew have practiced. I just want to ensure our takeoff is successful," he told Percy. Percy asked to go by his full name to be more formal, since he was leading a military force.

"I know you do Admiral. I admire your determination. Now, let's take the fleet out. Signal the other cruisers. I want The Phoenix out first as our temporary flagship. Now is the time for Protocol 1. Let's take this slow and careful," Percy told him. Protocol 1 was the instructions for taking off from a docked position.

"Yes general," Admiral Forsit responded. He walked back to the command holotable. "Initiate protocol 1. Signal to the Phoenix to be our flagship and take us out. Tell the Nova and Aspiration to follow our lead. Prime primary engines 1 and 2 and all secondary engines. We'll take this slowly. Do not engage the hyperdrive." Percy couldn't help but get goosebumps when he saw the whole command bridge spring to life. Commands rattled off every mouth of the crew members. Percy wondered how the hell they could hear their own thoughts. The ship started to rock. In the hangar, Percy could see the Phoenix already half-way out, most starboard engines glowing blue. The hull shuddered gently as he could see the hangar start to disappear, replaced by the storm outside. Higher and higher they rose, the water and facility disappearing in the vortex of rain. Rain pattered against the windows, but even so Percy could see perfectly. "Engage primary thrusters 3 and 4. Tell the fleet to rendezvous at K-12 in a defensive formation," Percy heard Admiral Forsit behind him. He knew the directions for Protocol 1. The ship started to pivot but Percy couldn't feel any change in the floor beneath him. The whole ship ran unbelievably smooth. The bow started to point up and Percy could no longer see the storm. All he saw was space. The endless painting of colors, and the stars dotting the landscape like ships in a sea.

Percy strode back the holotable, looking at the ships in this fleet. The three venators formed a triangular position, while the less armored and less armed acclamator stayed in the back, but still within range to do damage. Since the Phoenix was the flagship, it was the spearhead of the triangle, taking the most hits from an attack.

When Percy knew they were in position and awaiting his command, he smiled. Today was his day. His army was one of the best trained, best prepared armies in the galaxy. They were a force of good, of compassion and kindness. He had the power to create real change in the galaxy for the better. He had the combative ability to prevent enslavement and hostile occupation. He and everybody on this ship knew the ideals they stood and fought for. The lengths they would go to defend democracy and freedom.

He started to clap. The crew looked at him strangely, but then their faces brightened with his. They were inspired by a leader. A leader they could trust. Applause rang out from the bridge. Whoops and cheering echoed around them. This was the feeling of unison. Of being a part of something more than they could be alone. They were finally prepared.

As the cheers died down Percy looked at Admiral Forsit. "I want to monitor public channels. Hear what is going on around the galaxy and if there is anybody who needs help. We have the ability to solve crisis, I want to use it," he told him. The rest of the commanders at each ship had their outline on the holotable. They all nodded and relayed orders to their crew. "Engage your hyperdrives and be prepared to move on my signal."

"You heard the general," Admiral Forsit said. "General, we have information that there is a large gathering of Trade Federation ships. They have gathered around one system. Several blockade ships are also present," the admiral informed Percy. He frowned. Ever since the event on Naboo, he wanted to keep and eye on the Trade Federation. If they were gathering like this, it could be bad.

"Where?" he asked the admiral.

"Around Geonosis. They are known for their factories. It was rumored they helped create the droid army that occupied Naboo," said the admiral.

Percy started to really get worried now. "If the rumors are true, they could have an alliance. The Trade Federation leading a droid army is never a good feeling. We must investigate. We don't have the ships to engage them," Percy though aloud.

"What is your command?" the admiral asked.

"Mobilize the fleet. We'll go to the outskirts of the Arkanis sector. I'll take a gunship to the planet to gather intel," Percy instructed.

Admiral Forsit looked abashed. "Sir, you cannot sneak past that many blockade ships. You'll be detected, and possibly fired upon. I advise an alternative."

Percy sighed. "Fine. Travel to the sector. Use formation A-5. We'll discuss a plan on the way." A-5 would make sure the cruisers were ready to move, attack, or defend on a moment notice.

"Yes sir!" each of the other cruiser admirals saluted, and their figures disappeared.

Admiral Forsit went to the main room of the hangar, standing on the risen platform. "Activate hyperdrive. Set course for the Arkanis sector. Do not get us close to Tatooine. Keep us half a parsec away from Abyssissa. Establish formation A-5."

Copy that's resounded through the bridge as the crew followed the command. Percy looked out the large windows to see the ship starting to warp the space in front of them. Streaks of blue appeared, and suddenly they shot forward. Now all they could see was a vortex of blue and black in front of them.

"General!" a voice called from one of the stations.

"What is it, trooper?" Percy asked.

"Our Republic monitor station picked something up," the crew member told him. Since Percy helped found the army, he later added something into his payment. He was to know of most actions of the Grand Army of the Republic. Percy trusted the Republic a ridiculously small amount. They did an ok job of leading the galaxy, but Percy still wanted to see what they were up to. "A major strike force has taken off from Kamino. At least 5 fleets have all gone into hyperspace," the clone said.

Percy's eyebrows shot up. That was a huge strike force. Whatever they needed that many ships for was worth checking out. "Where are they headed?" he asked the crew member.

The clone clearly hesitated a minute when he read the screen. He looked back slowly. "Geonosis," was all he said. Percy cursed under his breath. Whatever was going to happen there was much bigger than he anticipated.

"Thank you trooper," he said. Percy rushed back to the holotable, the admiral joining him. The rest of the admirals soon appeared on the table after a call was sent out.

"General," their voices said.

"I'm sure you were informed of the new addition to Geonosis?" he asked. They all confirmed with a nod. "Then this is bigger than we expected. We need to get a ground team over there. The main problem is that there are now two armies in the sector. Our only advantage is that we will get there first, assuming we change trajectory mid hyperspace." Percy raised an eyebrow, and he could hear all the admirals bark orders. "Thank you. Now, I have an idea. We are the same blood, same design as that military. What tech that's ours is also theirs. Given the past conflicts between the Republic and the Trade Federation, I'd say they're not on the same side here. This means there will be an attack. So, there will also most likely be a ground assault, correct?" They all nodded. "My plan is to blend our troops with theirs," Percy swiped at the holotable and a diagram of Geonosis popped up. "See this asteroid field? We get a gunship to hide there. When the Republic launches their own gunships, we sneak into the assault and join them on the ground. There, I'll gather the information I need. I'll take a squad of troopers under my command. Stay off the frontlines, and out of the way. Any questions?" he finished. He thought it wasn't a half-bad plan.

"So you'll lead the squad on the ground? Isn't that a bit risky?" one of the admirals questioned.

"Trust me, I have full confidence in my survival abilities," Percy responded. He'd been in plenty of battles. Sure, none quit like this, but he'll improvise.

"How won't you be detected by the existing blockade?" another asked.

"We only send one gunship. The blockade is for large ships and/or large assault forces. Their scanners aren't going to pick up one small gunship," Percy answered. "Now that that's settled, I have another plan. The Republic's army is clearly bigger than the Trade Federation's. They'll try a retreat when they are scared off. All those ships docked on the ground will try to flee. I want our venators on the backside of the planet. If any come across, fire at will. I don't want any escaping. When the ground assault is finished, I'll rendezvous with The Ex on my gunship," Percy instructed. He didn't want his fleet mixing with the Republic's so he would keep them separated.

"We'll do a directed, general," Admiral Forsit said. The holotable shut off.

"Admiral Forsit. If I do not return within 7 rotations, assemble the fleet and go to Varristad. Have the newly inaugurated troops gather there too. Create a temporary operating base and await further instructions. I will go assemble my squad. Tell Alpha Squad 1 to meet in hangar 1, with a pilot and gunship," Percy said.

"Yes general," the admiral said. Percy left the bridge. Before going to the hangar, he stopped at the armory and grabbed a spare set of armor, slipping it on and holding the helmet under his arm. He quickly jogged through the halls of his cruiser, noticing several clones squad doing the same.

When he went through the blast doors and into the hangar, he was drawn to his surroundings. The hangars were all connected but separated by pillars going up, establishing a ray shield to block off space if the hangar doors were opened. There in front of him was a gunship being fueled. The pilot was talking with the co-pilot, and there was a squad of 6 clone troopers waiting.

"Troopers!" he announced. They all instantly snapped to attention, saluting Percy. "At ease!" Their hands fell, but postures remained straight and at attention. "As you all know, this is the first mission of the fleet. I only expect the best from this squad," he looked at each trooper individually. "Our mission is not easy. We are going to fly through open space to Geonosis and hide within the asteroid field surrounding the planet. We will wait for a Republic force to arrive and launch their ground assault gunships. Joining the attack, we'll assist their Republic in their ground assault while I gather the intel of the situation. Any questions?" he asked the clones.

"No sir!" they all answered.

"We are to try our best to stay off the front lines. I do not want any casualties on this mission, understood?" he told them.

"Yes sir!" they answered again.

"Use frequency G-1 for comms on the ground," he said. They all reached a hand up to their helmets, pressing some buttons on the side. "Now get ready. This is where the fun begins," he smirked.

Percy slipped his helmet on, noticing the decreased visibility and taking note of the blind spots. The design allowed more visibility than most armor but wasn't perfect. He brandished his DC-15 blaster rifle, the feeling odd in his hands. He practiced with the clone weapons in the time it took for the army to be made but would still prefer his sword over any weapon. Sadly, Riptide wasn't very effective at long range. Nor discrete.

"General Perseus, we are dropping out of hyperspace. Prepare your party. Hangar doors open in 1 minute," Admiral Forsit's voice sounded from the helmet.

"Its go time boys," Percy ordered the troopers. They all filed into the gunship, the blast shields closing behind them. He could feel the ship start to hover over the ground, and heard a sound similar to helicopter blades, but much quieter.

"Hangar doors opening. We're clear to launch. 2 minutes until we reach the asteroid belt," the pilot said. Percy felt the gunship lurch forward, and all the troopers inside reached up to grab the cargo secured on the top to keep from falling. Red lights illuminated along the blast shields, indicating it was not safe to open them.

Percy knew the cruisers were making their way to the back of the planet to not be spotted by either side. He hoped all goes according to plan, or this could be a rough day. "We've reached the belt. We're currently inside a large asteroid tunnel. I have a visual on the Republic fleet coming out of hyperspace," the pilots voice came again. The fleets were here earlier than he expected. "The acclamators are engaging their ground assault force. Moving to connect. The gunship was on the move again, flying towards the huge sand planet. Percy could only think of how unpleasant of a place it would be. When he looked out the pilot's window, he could see gunships all around them, all headed toward the planet. Some even carried AT-TEs.

"Looks like we're in. Keep her steady, pilot, you're doing fine," he soothed the clone. They were all nervous for their first battle, but ready all the same.

When they got into the atmosphere, Percy couldn't help but frown at the planet. It was sand and rocks as far as the eye could see. Not a single tree or blade of grass was present. They would occasionally pass over some rock or metal structure. In front was a huge Colosseum, made from the same rocky material.

"The forces are splitting up. Some are establishing an assembly location on the surface. It appears the others are going to the arena," the pilot informed them.

"Stick to the arena. We'll get a better understanding of the situation there," Percy ordered.

"Copy that," the pilot responded.

"Turn on our comms, get us into whatever frequency they're using. I want to know what's going on," Percy asked. He needed information to gauge their next move.

"Got it. Patching it to your comms now," the co-pilot said.

A wave of talking went through Percy's ears. Apparently all the squads used the same frequency to communicate, which was a little confusing.

"Open the blast shields. Engage the enemy on the ground, we will," a new voice said. It sounded old and spoke in an odd way. Percy assumed he was leading this part of the assault. An echo of copy that's went around. Percy's own gunship changed from red to green lights, and the doors opened on either side.

"The light is green!" his pilot said.

They all readied their blasters, turning off the safeties and checking the ammo. Percy heard the wind whistling by as they started to slow down, and he could see the arena much more clearly. "Ready up squad, pilot engage on their mark," Percy said.

"Copy that," the pilot echoed. Percy saw hundreds of battle droids surrounding what couldn't be more than 20 figures, all dressed in robe-like garments and holding lightsabers.

"Jedi…" Percy muttered. They looked to be in the middle of a battle, battle ready with their sabers up. Percy had never seen this many in one place. Suddenly, the air lit up with light as the gunships descended and unleashed hell upon the droids below. The cannons on the front of the gunship, as well as some laser-beam turrets ignited the ground with explosions. The droids were tossed around like ragdolls, and the Jedi exploded into action.

"Around the survivors, a perimeter create," the same voice as earlier said. The gunships continued to tear apart the droid army, lowering to the ground to surround the remaining Jedi, providing cover.

His own gunship did the same. "Get ready men! Let's turn these clankers into scrap metal!" Percy shouted. As soon as they got low enough, they jumped off the ship, their blasters going ablaze. Percy lifted his own blaster towards the droids, his finger bouncing rapidly as he fired incessantly. Droids fell everywhere, clearly not expecting the attack. Sand sprayed into the air as the armies collided. Blaster fire went everywhere, blue and red bolts shooting out. Percy focused on a black droid with a smushed in head. He shot it to pieces, moving on to the next.

A Jedi with a green lightsaber and black robes boarded his ship, tugging a woman with a white combat suit on. The Jedi deflected bolts aimed at the two of them while she shot a blaster. She looked nothing like a Jedi. He also saw Master Kenobi board his ship as well, his blue lightsaber shining. "Alpha Squad, form up on the gunship!" Percy shouted to his own troops.

He stumbled over a fallen Jedi, pausing when he saw the silver cylinder on the ground. On instinct he grabbed the weapon and put it into a container on his tactical belt. When his back hit the gunship he sat on the ledge, still hefting his blaster and firing into the mass, although significantly less accurate. "Pilot get us the hell out of here," he shouted at his pilot, the thrill of battle sending adrenaline through his veins. The gunships ascended out of the coliseum, noticing a massive assembly area of clone troopers. Acclamator cruisers had landed on the surface and were dispensing troops and tanks onto the battlefield.

The gunship rocked violently as flak fire shot from the ground, getting awfully close to the gunships. The blast shields closed to protect the rear of the carrier. "Hold on," Kenobi told his companions. They reached for the netting above. The armada of gunships rained fire upon the droid army below, their cannons shredding the droids and their emplacements.

Huge metal towers loomed over all of them, which the gunships were now approaching. "Aim right above the fuel cells!" the Jedi in black told the pilot. The two cannons mounted on top shot torpedoes, hitting their mark and sending the towers careening towards the ground crushing droids underneath.

"Good call my young padawan," Kenobi appraised the other Jedi, who was apparently only a padawan. They came to the assembly area, where gunships were lowering to the ground to drop off troops and Jedi. Our pilot did not, as the plan was not to be on the front lines, and the Jedi didn't complain.

The scene below was one of mayhem. It looked like a futuristic version of the WWII videos. There were so many clones, charging forward into the smaller but still huge droid army. Bolts flew everywhere, striking unlucky clones and droids alike. The droids had spider looking machines that shot a laser out of the would-be forehead. They also had weird shaped tanks, with wheels and an armada of missiles mounted above. The clones had the AT-TE which were much more heavily armored and armed, but less numbers. The armies clashed, a certain front line forming on each side as barrages of missiles and blaster fire shot into the other side. Some droids even took out some of their own troops. This was a full-scale battle. There was no cover, creating a slaughter of clones and droids alike. This was not tactful, each side just throwing numbers at the opponent. Percy knew there would be significant casualties.

They came up to the Trade Federation's star ships, which were just huge metal balls inside their own holes. "Attack those federation starships! Quickly!" Kenobi told the pilots. The gunships unleashed more torpedoes, these ones not doing any damage to the armored fortress'.

Percy noticed the rolling tanks decimating the AT-TEs. "Concentrate fire on the rolling tanks. Use the torpedoes," he told the co-pilot. The torpedoes targeted the rolling tanks and flew towards them. They blew the tanks to smithereens, leaving charred remains.

Blue beams of light shot from tanks below, tearing the outside of the Federation's closest starship apart. The beams went through the armor, blowing apart the inside of the ship. It lost its upward momentum and came crashing down. When it hit the ground a cloud of dust shot up, and instantly Percy could see nothing 50 feet away from him. He tapped his helmet and saw a scan of the enemy's positions. The clones were gaining ground, slowly pushing the droids back.

"Look over there!" Kenobi shouted through the dust. Percy could vaguely see 2 ships and a speeder flying close to the ground.

"It's Dooku. Shoot him down!" the padawan shouted. "We're out of rockets sir," the pilot responded. Percy wasn't sure who Dooku was, but he seemed like a target for the Jedi. "Follow him!" the padawan yelled.

"We're going to need some help," the woman in the ship said. It was the first thing she's said at all. Percy narrowed his eyes at the protective stance of the padawan near her. It was more than trying to keep her safe because of the Jedi duties. He cared for her more than he would admit. Percy thought attachment was forbidden in the Jedi Order.

"There isn't time! Anakin and I can handle this!" Kenobi told her. Percy wouldn't be afraid to blow his cover to get in the fight too, if necessary.

The two ships broke off the speeder ahead of them, but the gunship maintained its course. The gunship shuddered violently again as blaster fire from the two other ships struck close. They couldn't evade or else losing the troops inside. He gripped the netting above tighter. They came to a ridge and the gunship scraped along it, and finally a shot hit. The gunship lurched and Percy lost his hold on the netting, getting thrown out of the gunship and landing roughly on the sand below.

He lay there for a minute, the hot sun beating down on him trying to keep him down. His back ached and his head was a little dizzy, but other than that he was alright. He groaned as he sat up, looking around him. He could see the battlefield far in front of him, and nothing but barren wasteland in between. That was a long walk. Reaching for the hilt of his blaster, he got to his feet and looked to where he remembered the woman fell. She was at the bottom of the hill and he was relieved to hear her groaning in pain. At least she was alive. Percy jogged down and knelt beside her. "Are you alright?" he asked. They needed to get moving. A squad of droids could find them at any minute.

"Uh-huh," she grunted. Percy knew his priority was to get her to safety.

"We'd better get back to the forward command center," he told her. That would be the safest place. That or the cruisers.

"No. No," she disagreed. "Gather what troops you can we've got to get to that hangar," she told him. He admired her bravery. "Get a transport. Hurry!" she said.

"Right away," he responded, and they started jogging back up the hill. "Does anyone copy? I repeat does anyone copy!" he talked through his comm. He banged the side of his helmet until the same odd voice as before responded.

"Hear you, we do. Send a transport to your location, we will," they said in their backwards language.

"Negative. I have Senator Padme Amidala with me, and she requests immediate transport to a hangar Count Dooku and two other Jedi were headed to," he said. He recognized the senator because she spoke out a lot at Senate meetings about issues he agreed on.

"Your location, please send. Pick you up, we will," the voice said.

He looked in the corner of his HUD and saw his coordinates relative to the forward command center. "We are atop a ridge in sector 7-6-3. Popping flare," he told the voice. He dug into his belt and retrieved his flare gun, which he pointed towards the sky and pulled the trigger. The projectile shot upwards and exploded into red dust, sprinkling down to the sand. Not a minute later he heard the now familiar sound of a gunship getting close before he could see it descending towards them. The senator next to him waved her arms to get their attention.

Percy did not expect to see a little green humanoid creature with a wooden cane standing in the gunship. It couldn't be more than 4 feet tall and clutched its walking stick with its 3 fingered hand. The ears were the best part. They pointed straight outward like little mountains, and Percy honestly thought it was kind of cute. It had wrinkled skin indicating its age, and little hair on its body. It wore the robes of the Jedi.

"Master Yoda," the senator next to him bowed her head in respect.

To fit in, Percy stood to attention and saluted. "General," he stated. The creature named Yoda just waved him down.

"Senator Amidala," he greeted. How rude. "In which direction, did the Jedi go, hm?" Yoda asked her.

"They headed just North of here to a hangar. Padawan Anakin Skywalker and Master Kenobi were in pursuit of Count Dooku. They believe he intends to escape off-world," she advised Yoda of the situation.

"Very troubling, this is, hm?" Percy wasn't sure if he was supposed to answer or not. "Require assistance, they will. Pilot, take us to that hangar."

"Right away sir," the pilot said. The ride was filled with awkward silence while the Master Jedi only looked at the landscape below and frowned. Percy wasn't sure how he felt about this Jedi Master. He seemed kind of… aloof. Percy, however, didn't want to judge based on how he talked, so he just kept to himself. Percy felt they needed to add Galaga or something to these helmets to make the time go by faster. After what seemed like ages the hangar pad was in sight. A crashed gunship nearby made him fear the worst for his troops. As they descended and hovered next to the pad, Master Yoda walked off the ship. "Stay here, you will. Protect the platform, you must," he told the squad and senator before strolling into the hangar. Percy was hoping the Jedi Master could handle himself in there and started to scan the surroundings for nearby ships.

The next couple of minutes were interesting, as Percy heard lots of sounds coming from the hangar. Crashes and war screeches echoed out. When Percy was about to go in there to check things out, he heard the hum of a ship leaving the hangar. The troopers fired pointlessly at the ship, doing nothing more than wasting ammo. Percy and the senator rushed into the hangar, Percy fearing the worst. Instead what he saw surprised him. Several fixtures and rocks were out of place, but the two Master Kenobi and the Padawan were laying on the ground next to each other. Master Yoda looked no worse for wear as he walked slowly toward the pair, only looking a bit tired.

"Anakin!" the senator exclaimed running toward the pair. Kenobi helped his Padawan up, sporting an obvious limp. Anakin and Padme embraced, relishing in the other's presence. It was clear they were more than they thought. Percy just noticed Anakin was missing a hand, the stub smoking lightly. It had somehow already been cauterized. He winced. That was unfortunate.

"You three, form a perimeter. I'll check on the Jedi," he told the other troopers. Technically he couldn't order them around, but he just did anyway. He jogged towards the group. "Generals. Are you alright," he seemed to be asking that a lot recently.

"I'm okay. However my Padawan needs urgent medical care," he said.

"There is a transport awaiting outside," Percy said. He went back to the other troopers. "You two, get the stretcher from the gunship and bring it inside," he told the two closest. You get to the ship and call for a medical station to be prepared to receive a General medical care," he told the remaining one. Jogging back to the rather unique group, he knew they had been talking. He never missed the glance Kenobi and Master Yoda sent his way occasionally, but he couldn't be sure what it was about.

He approached the limping Obi-Wan Kenobi. "Allow me to support you, General," he said, and the Jedi graciously put and arm over Percy's shoulder. Percy helped the Jedi Master out of the hangar and into the gunship, where two of the troopers were holding the stretcher occupied by Anakin. Padme was talking to him gently, soothing him. Master Yoda and Kenobi seemed to be having a lengthy silent discussion, so Percy just held on to the netting and watched the beautifully horrendous scenery below. Percy wasn't sure how he was going to get back to his fleet after clearly his own gunship as destroyed. He face fell at the soldiers he lost. If he hadn't fallen out of the damn gunship, maybe he could've saved them. However he knew the cost of war better than most, and the hardships of losing your brethren. With every victory came a defeat. Now he could only hope his fleet followed his instructions and went to the rendezvous to await him.

I'm proud of this chapter, and I know it was long. Let me know if it was too long in a review so I won't do it again. I tried to have this one chapter be all about the second movie, Attack of the Clones, so I included a ton in it. Anyway, reviews are appreciated to let me know what I'm doing right or wrong. I always look at them.
