Mommy and us- part 3

Soprano Pixie asked for a oneshot of a third instalment to Ch912 "Mommy and us" where Emma escapes the class from a bathroom window. She goes to the Rabbit Hole to try and forget the whole ordeal, but her dad has had a text from Snow saying that Emma is missing.

Nope. This wasn't happening. Emma couldn't stand the cringe of having to sit through this whole class with all the mothers passing knowing smiles to her own mother. They'd been in cahoots over this damn plan. As soon as she thought she could before it would be too suspicious, Emma excused herself to the bathroom…only to not come back out again. Instead, she had squeezed herself out of the rather small window and sneaked off towards the Rabbit Hole to bleach her brain of any memories of today with a little day drinking.

Meanwhile, after five minutes, Snow became concerned. She left Neal with Ella and went into the bathroom behind Emma to see if she was ok. Of course, Snow quickly sussed that Emma wasn't in the bathroom. Had she been thinking logically, Snow's only thought would have been that Emma's embarrassment caused her to leave. However, through the shock of her seemingly just vanishing, it was only one of a hundred possibilities floating through Snow's brain at that moment. She pulled out her phone and sent Charming a text.

Emma's gone missing from the class. Is she with you? Xx

A moment later, a reply buzzed through.

…No, I haven't seen her at all. Don't worry, you finish off with Neal. I'll go looking for her. I'll let you know if anything comes up xx

Snow frowned. She would stay and finish off with Neal, but her mind would be elsewhere until she was certain Emma was ok.

It didn't take long for Charming to narrow down all the potential places his daughter might be. After checking the station and Granny's, he headed to the local dive to see if Emma was camping out there until she felt it was safe to return home.

Sure enough, there she was. She was sipping from a rather large glass of wine in a table in the corner. Charming went and slid in opposite her. He immediately pulled out his phone and sent Snow a text to let her know Emma was fine as he began to speak to her.

"Your mother was worried about you, disappearing like that." Charming told her off. "Couldn't you have stuck it out for an hour?" Emma shrugged.

"It was awkward." She moaned. "Those classes are for moms and their babies." Charming fixed her with a look. Emma rolled her eyes, knowing what he was thinking. "Their actual babies. Like, still drool and struggle holding their head up. We can find other things for us to do. Her point was made loud and clear. Just never that again." Emma pleaded with him. Charming sighed.

"I still think you could have toughed it out for an hour, or at least have been honest when you left rather than scaring her." He told her. "Come on, there's no point wasting the rest of the day away in here." He said, getting up. Begrudgingly, Emma trailed behind him. Looked like she was going to have to live with the memory of what went down. Maybe if she asked nicely Regina would give her a memory wipe potion…no, as soon she explained what happened Regina would rather die than let her forget a gem like that. She was just going to have to live with it.
