Husker was cleaning the bar counter, making sure Fat Nuggets wasn't eating any of maraschino cherries when Angel walked in, carrying a bunch of cards in his lower set of arms.

"Hey Husker. Has Fat Nuggets been a good boy?"

"He's been alright." said Husker as he handed the pig to Angel, "What'll it be?"

"Love Potion." said Angel.

"Why am I not surprised?"

As Husker prepared Angel's drink, he looked at the cards Angel was carrying.

"I see you got a bunch of Valentines." said Husker.

"Yeah. They're all from fans." said Angel as he pulled out one of them to read. "Here's one. 'Dear Angel Dust, You're so hot. I wish I could-' Okay, that's way too freaky even for me."

"I see they really love you." said Husker.

"Eh. 'Love' is kinda stretching it." said Angel, "I'd say they're more in love with my image rather than the real me."

Angel then grabbed his cocktail and took a drink.

"So, I bet you have some Valentine cards as well?"

"Nope." said Husker.

"Really?" asked Angel, "But you're such a good looking guy."

"I gave up on love a long time ago." said Husker.

Angel looked at the corner of his good eye and saw a tray of paper napkins. He pulled out one of them and started writing on it.

"Here. Thought you could use this." he said, handing it to Husker.

Husker looked at the napkin and read the message that was on it.

'To the coolest cat I know. XOXO, Angel.'

"Is this some sort of pity thing?" asked Husker.

"It's called a Valentine." replied Angel, "I thought you'd appreciate it."

"Well I don't need it!"

Angel gasped as Husker crumbled up the napkin and threw it in the trash. Angel's eyes started to well up with tears as he picked up Fat Nuggets.

"Come on, Nuggs; lets leave this jerk alone."

As Angel walked out of the bar, Husker looked over at the trash bin. He went over to it, picked up the napkin, and uncrumbled it. Looking it over once more, Husker sighed, feeling bad for what he had said and done earlier.

Husker went into the lobby where he found Angel crying.

"Angel?" said Husker.

Angel looked over, wiping tears away from his face.

"I'm sorry for the way I acted." said Husker, "It's a nice valentine. I should probably give you something in return."

"What's that?" asked Angel.

Husker came over to Angel, hovering a bit with his wings as to approach Angel's face, held Angel's face in his paws, and kissed him.

Angel blushed a bright red.

"I'll admit, that's the best Valentine I've ever gotten." smiled Angel.
